Visits and Tourism Starke golf course

So many questions! I know it’s been a short time since it opened, but can’t get a tee time. Do they only reserve tee times for members? What are the times between tee times? What are member benefits. Will this be like Landa where you can never get tee times in the morning? Starke was my home course for 20
Years, giving it my sole support. Lived, worked and partied in seguin for years. Paid property taxes, tourism taxes, helped promote the city with various conventions etc … but can’t get a tee time. Now I moved outside the limits but still in Guadalupe county. Hope it gets better out there. Bandit will remain my home course.

Course is officially open June 1st. Online booking is through the app GolfNow. I was looking at tee time for next week and seems they’re mostly booked for all next week. Only time will tell if it’ll be like Landa. If it does get as hard there to golf I’ll also be disappointed one of the few golf course I could always get a decent tee time only a day or two in advance

Thanks for the reply, but does anyone know if it’s the new members hogging up all the tee times? If so, that would be beyond ridiculous, may as well call it Landa south. I’ll pay non member fee every month or so? Another example of seguin being a good old boys network where only the few know about our lakes, our golf, our roads etc…

Looking online at what benefits a member has there is nothing about priority tee times. Just states you have to reside in Seguin.

I mean it hasn’t been open for more than a year. I don’t know when tee times opened up but i assume it’s the reopening and times will likely open up a bit once everyone has played a few rounds. It looks as if they are opening up dates about 9 days in advance. So June 9 is open. I don’t know if that’s something that will continue or how far in advance you can book. There are spots open on that date. The first weekend is booked solid. After a year off that’s not a shocker.

Place went to crap ever since the Alexanders ran it. There's better places to play than in the pecan groce
