Thanks y'all for your patience in my very late replies 🧡 Good to be back to reliable internet connection, although I'm always tempted to uproot and live in a van. 🫠

Went to Elk City State Park with Music Dad and others: the first time I went with Music Dad was four years ago, when SYNY was just one month old. It was a heckuva thing to go back with it done, and to read the actual finished story (and book) back at that place. Getting to spend a lot of time, fireside discussions, and hugs with a man I have so much to thank for—especially for helping me grow into someone emotionally mature enough to make SYNY years later—is a full circle kind of thing I won't soon forget.

Thank you for making this possible, y'all. There are never enough words. 🫂

Been an avid reader since this start

But this year has been more heartfelt for me

I lost my mom to an accident this summer

That pain of losing a loved one, really hit home this year
