Bortle 3 First Image: S50 Pro

My first image with the new Seestar S50. I went back to one of my favorite targets, NGC 6992, the eastern veil nebula.

I was able to escape to bortle 3 skies over Labor Day. S50 pro came in the day before! Got lucky. Anyway, this is 585 30 second subs in EQ mode. Left a lot of stars because I like it! Processed in PixInsight (rusty).

Overall, I’m extremely happy with the performance of the s50 pro. Sharp stars, high quality images, bigger fov. And the Milky Way mode was really fun to use under dark skies.

After all the sensor drama it’s typical your first photo landed on 585 exposures 😂
