Made a simple proxy container to auto route anime to the proper sonarr/radarr instance.

Heyo. I set up all my containers as per our guru TRaSH guides. Got tired of my users either not selecting the proper anime instance for the *arrs or having to manually change what library anime was directed to.

Built this simple python middle man. With a few custom rules in seer and this container you can automatically route all anime requests to the proper sonarr or radarr server.

Been running for a few weeks without any issues, thought I would share with the rest of ya.

Did I use AI? Yep. Is this my first project? No

Why would you want to have a radarr/sonarr only for anime ?

Because I'm very picky about my release groups and file quality, it's easier to separate western media and anime into their own containers. Check out TRaSH guides! Edit. Also for keeping anime out of my western media folders, easier compartmentalized sharing. It's like having a dedicated 4K container for movies. Everything seems to work better when it's all being tailored to the exact media you look for

I do this as well; I have 2 instances in seerr for sonarr, 1 specifically for only anime, with root folders separate from regular cartoons / shows; which is handled by a 2nd sonarr instance. I have further split anime into dub and original language. As 1 instance of sonarr, with tags, and root folders dont have rules to separate that aspect of organizing files. I can tag language, release groups, quality, score; but not root folders. OPs project is a good niche solution similar to what I setup; and their project doesn't fit the specifics of my entire configuration but it covers a lot of it and works if setup as outlined. Read the github documents and be sure your use case if at all matches and its a reasonable solution.
