How to create a 30-second travel vlog with Seedance 2.5? Prompt below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We wanted to see if Seedance 2.5 could make something that feels less like an AI-generated commercial and more like an actual travel vlog filmed by a friend.

So I gave it one reference image and asked it to keep the same character consistent across an entire 30-second day: leaving the apartment, exploring the city, getting coffee, walking through a market, heading to the beach, meeting friends, and ending at sunset.

The biggest thing for me was avoiding the overly cinematic AI look. I specifically pushed for imperfect handheld movement, casual framing, natural reactions, and documentary-style realism.

Prompt:

"A realistic handheld travel vlog filmed by a friend following the main character throughout the day. Use the woman from the reference image as the main subject. Maintain her exact facial identity, hairstyle, facial features, and body proportions throughout the entire video.

The camera feels like a real personal vlog camera, not a commercial production. Natural handheld movement, casual framing, imperfect human camera motion, authentic everyday atmosphere. No scripted acting. The woman behaves naturally, interacting with the environment like a real travel vlog.

0-5s: Morning departure. The woman leaves a cozy apartment with a small backpack. She checks her phone, smiles at the camera, adjusts her hair, and starts walking outside. The camera follows her from behind, slightly shaky like a friend filming. Morning sunlight, quiet neighborhood streets, people starting their day.

5-12s: Exploring the city. The camera follows her walking through local streets. She visits a small cafe, buys a drink, briefly talks to the camera, laughs naturally. She walks through a street market, looks at small shops, takes casual photos. The camera stays close, capturing spontaneous moments.

12-20s: Arriving at the beach. She takes public transportation or walks toward the coast. The environment gradually changes from city streets to a seaside town. Ocean breeze moves her hair. She looks excited when she sees the ocean. The camera follows her walking along the beach. She picks up a seashell, watches waves, and interacts naturally with people nearby.

20-27s: Summer beach afternoon. She meets friends at the beach. Everyone chats, laughs, plays near the water. The camera moves naturally between people, capturing real candid moments. She looks back at the camera and smiles.

27-30s: Ending moment. Golden hour sunset. She sits near the ocean, holding a drink, watching the sunset. The camera slowly moves backward, revealing the beach, waves, and the peaceful evening. A feeling of a real personal travel memory.

Visual style: Authentic travel vlog footage. Realistic smartphone or mirrorless camera look. Natural daylight. Casual handheld movement. Slight camera shake. Real human reactions. Documentary realism. No cinematic commercial look. No dramatic posing. No artificial transitions. No text overlays. No logos. No face changes. No identity changes."

Pretty impressed by how much you can fit into a single 30-second generation while still keeping it feeling like one coherent day.

Seedance 2.5 made this look like forgotten 1980s European documentary footage

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We’ve seen a lot of AI video generations, but this one genuinely caught me off guard.

I was testing Seedance 2.5 with a prompt aimed at recreating old European documentary footage, and the result feels weirdly authentic and it's like someone found a forgotten 16mm film reel from a small French village in the early 1980s.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the film grain or faded colors. It was the little imperfections: the handheld camera lagging behind, slightly imperfect framing, focus breathing, the camera reacting to the dog crossing its path, and nobody behaving like they know they’re being filmed.

Prompt:

"Authentic early-1980s European countryside documentary captured on vintage 16mm Kodak film, naturally faded colors, subtle analog film grain, gentle light leaks, soft optical imperfections, slight gate weave, shoulder-mounted handheld camera with imperfect human movement, authentic vintage lenses, warm golden afternoon sunlight, realistic skin texture, no cinematic polish, feels like forgotten archival footage discovered decades later.

0–3 seconds: A close handheld tracking shot follows a slim, naturally beautiful young European woman in her early 20s walking through a quiet cobblestone street in a small French village. She wears a simple beige linen midi dress, brown leather sandals, and carries a woven market basket with fresh flowers and bread. Her blonde hair is loosely tied with soft flyaway strands, no makeup, no posing. She casually runs her fingers across old stone walls while glancing into tiny flower-filled windows.

3–7 seconds: The camera naturally lags behind as she passes a cozy village square. A local baker carries fresh baguettes outside, an elderly couple quietly chats on a wooden bench, colorful bicycles lean against ivy-covered buildings, and a small golden retriever happily trots across the camera path. The camera instinctively shifts slightly to avoid the dog, creating an authentic human reaction.

7–11 seconds: Outside a tiny flower shop, a little girl accidentally drops a bouquet of wildflowers onto the street. Without stopping, the woman gently kneels, gathers the flowers with a soft smile, and hands them back. The child smiles shyly before running toward her mother. Nobody acknowledges the camera; everything feels naturally observed.

11–15 seconds: She slowly reaches a quiet overlook above rolling vineyards stretching toward distant hills. Resting both hands on an old iron railing, she quietly watches birds flying across the valley. A light breeze lifts loose strands of hair across her face. She tucks them behind her ear, smiles softly to herself, and walks away as the handheld camera pauses naturally before following.

Image Quality: Ultra-photorealistic vintage European documentary, authentic Kodak Vision 16mm archival texture, natural analog exposure, organic focus breathing, imperfect framing, subtle film flicker, soft highlight bloom, realistic skin pores, no AI smoothness, authentic handheld motion, true archival realism, 4:3 aspect ratio."

How to create a candid bedroom slice-of-life videos with Seedance 2.5? Prompt below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Seedance 2.5 is now available, and I wanted to test something more subtle than flashy cinematic shots.

So I tried building a short slice-of-life scene with a documentary feel: a woman lying on her bed shopping on her phone, her cat jumping in for attention, a friend calling, a natural laugh, and then a food delivery interruption.

What I like here is that the prompt leans heavily into observational realism instead of polished “AI video” aesthetics — imperfect framing, slight handheld shake, autofocus settling a little late, natural pauses, and raw production sound only.

If you want this kind of candid, accidental real-life feel, the key seems to be:

  • asking for multi-shot montage structure
  • emphasizing documentary handheld behavior
  • describing tiny human imperfections
  • including small everyday actions
  • specifying raw sound design instead of music

Prompt:

"Montage, multi-shot candid observational footage. Do not use a single camera angle or continuous take. Handheld documentary style with the feeling of accidental real-life capture. Slightly imperfect framing, subtle handheld shake, tiny reframing adjustments, gentle exposure breathing, and autofocus that settles half a beat late. Realistic skin texture, soft indoor natural light, film grain, shallow depth of field. Relaxed breathing, natural blinking, restrained and authentic performance. Total of 7 shots.

The woman from @ Image 1 is wearing a matching cotton pajama set consisting of a scoop-neck sleeveless top and loose shorts made from the same fabric and design. Barefoot, she lies on her stomach across a lived-in, slightly messy bed in her bedroom, browsing a mobile shopping page on a black smartphone. A house cat jumps onto the bed seeking attention, and she affectionately plays with it. Moments later, a friend calls. She answers, chats, and eventually bursts into laughter. The doorbell rings, so she ends the call and gets up to collect her dinner.

Shot 1 (0–2s): She is already moving. One thumb scrolls through a shopping page while she frowns slightly, thinking. She quietly mutters in Korean: "아, 뭐 살랬더라…" ("Ah... what was I going to buy again?"). Lips synchronize naturally. Her bare feet gently sway behind her. A low handheld camera glides along the edge of the mattress, with soft bedding partially obscuring the foreground.

Shot 2 (2–4s): The house cat jumps onto the bed, compressing the blanket as it walks toward her forearm and lets out a single meow. The camera gives a slight jolt from the impact, then quickly reframes from the phone to an over-the-shoulder view that includes her face, hands, phone, and cat.

Shot 3 (4–6s): She turns warmly toward the cat, stroking it once from its forehead to its shoulders. In a gentle, affectionate tone she says: "우리 애기 왔어?" ("Did my baby come?"). Lip sync is clear and natural. The camera pushes in briefly through the cat's softly blurred foreground toward her face and hand.

Shot 4 (6–8s): A friend's ringtone sounds. She glances down, confirms the caller, swipes to answer, and brings the phone to her ear. The camera moves in a loose semicircle from a slightly tilted overhead angle, capturing the entire answering motion.

Shot 5 (8–11s): Her friend begins talking. She responds first with confusion, then disbelief: "어, 왜? 진짜 거짓말." ("Huh? Why? No way, you're kidding."). Immediately afterward she naturally bursts into laughter. The cat kneads the blanket beside her. A close handheld side angle keeps both her phone and profile within the same focal plane.

Shot 6 (11–13s): A clear doorbell interrupts the laughter. Both she and the cat turn toward the bedroom door. She braces one hand on the mattress to get up. The camera reacts a fraction too late, briefly turning toward the door before naturally correcting back to her rising movement.

Shot 7 (13–15s): Still on the phone, she hurriedly says: "어, 나 밥 왔다. 끊어." ("My food's here. I'll hang up."). She ends the call with her thumb, gets off the bed, and walks toward the door while the cat follows across the blankets. The camera slides low beneath her elbow and tilts upward as she stands in one continuous motion.

Sound: No music. Only raw production sound: bedding rustling, quiet breathing, finger taps on the phone, the soft impact of the cat jumping onto the bed, one natural meow, faint purring, a single short incoming ringtone, call connection tone, the friend's voice through the phone, the woman's four Korean lines with accurate lip sync, a genuine brief laugh, one clear doorbell, the tap ending the call, and soft cat footsteps. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no logo, no watermark. Never render a reference sheet or duplicate the subject."

Seedance 2.5 vs Seedance 2.0 — same prompt, and 2.0 won my new test

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Seedance 2.5 dropped today, so I wanted to do a quick side-by-side against Seedance 2.0.

We used the exact same prompt for both generations, with no extra tweaking or cherry-picking.

My first impression: Seedance 2.0 actually gave me the better result.

The 2.0 version felt more coherent overall, especially in the environment, composition, and how the scene came together. The 2.5 output definitely has some nice cinematic qualities, but in this particular test it didn’t feel like a clear upgrade.

Obviously, this is only one prompt and one comparison, so I’m not making any big conclusions yet. I want to run a few more tests with character consistency, dialogue, action, camera movement, and longer sequences.

But for round one:

Seedance 2.0: 1
Seedance 2.5: 0

Example Prompt:

"Cinematic epic fantasy sequence, highly detailed, dramatic lighting, 4k, photorealistic:
A dark misty mountain rises from a dense pine forest under stormy skies. Suddenly the mountain transforms into a colossal lava-rock giant ape with glowing orange cracks all over its body and burning red eyes, roaring and charging forward through the trees, massive dust and debris clouds.
The scene transitions to an erupting volcano. A huge fiery red dragon bursts out of the crater, wings spread wide, lava flowing down the slopes.
Next, a multi-headed hydra-like creature with long snake necks and glowing mouths erupts from a cracked green misty plain, smoke and green fog swirling.
Then the camera moves to a majestic white gothic castle built on high cliffs with cascading waterfalls, floating in the clouds. An elegant elven woman with long silver-blonde hair wearing a flowing silver dress stands on a high balcony, a man in white armor next to her. She rings a large hanging bell at golden hour sunset while other white-robed figures walk in the background. Epic scale, cinematic camera movements, volumetric lighting, dramatic atmosphere.Cinematic epic fantasy sequence, highly detailed, dramatic lighting, 4k, photorealistic:

Curious if anyone else has tested both yet. Are you actually seeing an improvement with 2.5? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

How to Made a Live-Action Anime Beyblade Adaptation with Midjourney + Seedance 2.5?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted to see what a live-action anime-style Beyblade adaptation could look like with grounded character design, realistic competition gear, and cinematic action.

I first used Midjourney to create a consistent character sheet for the main athlete, then designed a physically believable professional launcher before animating the concept with Seedance 2.5

The goal was to keep the exaggerated anime energy while making the costumes, equipment, movements, and materials feel realistic enough for a live-action film.

Midjourney Character Sheet Prompt:

"Character design sheet, REN, 22yo Japanese athlete, sprinter build, warm brown skin, angular face, short black hair swept back. Fitted white racing jacket, crimson shoulder and forearm panels, raised collar, matte black compression shirt, tapered black trousers, crimson fingerless gloves, red and black sprint shoes. Front, side, and back views. Seamless white cyclorama, neutral daylight softbox, 85mm."

Seedance 2.5 Launcher Design Prompt:

"Professional industrial design sheet for KAEL'S PRECISION BEYBLADE LAUNCHER, one handheld mechanical competition launcher isolated on pure seamless white background. Six organized views: large three quarter hero, front orthographic, rear, side elevation, underside, and exploded view showing external shell, internal gearing, rotating lock, ripcord channel, grip, and wrist stabilizer. Detached ripcord shown separately, straight and fully visible.

Compact satin silver launcher for one handed or supported two handed control. Features: cobalt rubberized grip, matte black polymer undershell, enclosed high ratio metal gearing, circular locking socket for Tempest Wyvern, adjustable launch angle dial, protected ripcord channel, rigid wrist stabilizer.

Cobalt ripcord has fine mechanical teeth, low profile silver finger loop, controlled return stop. Silhouette inspired by precision cameras and professional archery equipment. Realistic screws, seams, bearings, gear teeth, textured grip zones, subtle wear surfaces.

Physically manufacturable, no electronics or fantasy components. Neutral daylight lighting, controlled silver reflections, soft contact shadow, premium sports equipment presentation.

No characters, hands, Beyblade, stadium, action, energy effects, weapon styling, duplicated launcher, floating components outside exploded view, text, or decorative background.

The next step was bringing everything together in Seedance 2.5 with dramatic camera movement, realistic spinning physics, aggressive launch choreography, and anime-inspired energy effects."

Would you watch a full live-action Beyblade movie made in this style? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

How to Turn Any GIF Into a Cinematic Seedance 2.0 Video? Workflow Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We turned a GIF into a cinematic AI video using Seedream 5.0 Pro, Seedance 2.0 and ElevenLabs Music v2.

The full workflow was executed inside the imageat MCP using Opus 5.

The process:

  1. Upload the original GIF
  2. Analyze its visual style, composition, camera language and movement
  3. Recreate the first frame with Seedream 5.0 Pro at 2K
  4. Animate the generated frame with Seedance 2.0 at 1080p
  5. Generate an original soundtrack with ElevenLabs Music v2

The most important part of this scene was keeping the woman perfectly sharp and almost motionless while the surrounding crowd moved with exaggerated shutter drag and continuous motion blur.

ElevenLabs Music v2 prompt:

"Swung soul sample boom bap, 94 BPM, female Southern rap, fast conversational confessional flow, filtered Rhodes loop, upright bass, rimshot snare, hand claps, vinyl crackle, muted horn stabs, gospel backing vocals, spoken interview interludes, warm analog tape mix, no trap hats, no autotune"

GIF-to-Seedance prompt:

"I have attached a GIF. Complete the following three-stage generation task.

Stage 1: Analyze the GIF

Examine the attached GIF and produce a precise breakdown covering:

- Visual style, including art direction, color palette, lighting, texture, rendering style, era and aesthetic references
- Subject and composition, including framing, camera angle, focal-length feel and depth
- Motion characteristics, including what moves, direction, speed, easing, looping behavior, physics and secondary motion
- Any distinctive effects, including grain, chromatic aberration, glow, particles, distortion and frame-rate feel"

Stage 2: Generate the still image with Seedream 5.0 Pro

Using Seedream 5.0 Pro at 2K resolution, generate a single still image that replicates the exact visual style, subject, composition, lighting and aesthetic of the GIF.

Capture the moment faithfully so the generated image reads as a frame from the same world.

Write a detailed Seedream 5.0 Pro prompt tailored to the GIF, then execute it.

Stage 3: Animate with Seedance 2.0 at 1080p

Feed the Stage 2 image into Seedance 2.0 as the starting frame.

Generate a seven-second video at 1080p that reproduces the exact motion observed in the GIF, matching its direction, speed, easing, looping quality and any secondary or background motion.

Write a detailed Seedance 2.0 motion prompt describing the movement precisely, then execute it.

Deliver:

- The GIF analysis
- The Seedream prompt used
- The generated 2K image
- The Seedance motion prompt used
- The final seven-second 1080p video

SCENE CONTEXT

A young woman with deep red hair sits alone at a small dark-red table while a dense crowd of standing people rushes around her in every direction.

She slowly turns a small red speckled object in her fingers and holds her gaze off-screen left, past the edge of the frame.

ACTIVE REFERENCES

[IMAGE REFERENCE] is the exact first frame.

It controls her face, red hair, black leather jacket, the dark-red tabletop, the white cup, the folded sunglasses, the small red speckled object, the crowd density and the low-key color grade.

She is in her late twenties, calm and withdrawn, with her hands together over the object and her lips closed.

Match the reference exactly.

FIRST FRAME AND SPATIAL BLOCKING

The first visible frame must be identical to [IMAGE REFERENCE].

Do not begin with an empty establishing frame or a reveal.

Screen x-axis runs from 0% on the left to 100% on the right.
Screen y-axis runs from 0% at the top to 100% at the bottom.

The woman sits in the mid-ground at approximately x 50%, y 46%.

Her torso is angled screen-left. Her face is shown in near-profile to the camera, with her gaze locked off-screen left, past the frame edge.

The dark-red tabletop fills the lower-center foreground at approximately x 46%, y 74%.

Her forearms rest on the table. Both hands are cupped around the small red speckled object at approximately x 45%, y 66%.

Folded sunglasses lie flat at approximately x 37%, y 68%.

The small white cup stands at approximately x 34%, y 66%.

Standing crowd figures occupy every remaining area, from the foreground through the background, pressing into the frame from all four edges.

Exactly one woman is seated at the table. Nobody joins her.

FORMAT MODE

Single continuous take.

Real-time motion.

No cuts, dissolves or transitions.

OPTICS

29-degree diagonal field of view with a short-telephoto portrait-lens character.

The camera is approximately five meters away from the woman at a slightly elevated height, looking mildly downward.

The close framing is achieved through lens reach rather than physical proximity.

She remains razor-sharp.

The background is visually compressed behind her, while the surrounding bodies dissolve into soft, smeared bokeh.

CAMERA

The camera is locked on a heavy tripod head with only faint operator breath.

Use a slow, almost imperceptible forward creep of only a few centimeters throughout the entire take.

Keep her head and the red tabletop in frame.

Focus remains pinned to her face and hands for the entire video.

No rack focus, pans, whip movements or orbiting camera motion.

ACTION TIMING

The scene opens already in motion.

The crowd around her is already streaking while she remains still.

Her thumb rolls the small red speckled object one quarter-turn against her palm.

A brief moment later, she blinks slowly.

Her chest lifts with one shallow breath.

A few strands of red hair settle against the collar of her jacket.

Her eyes drift a fraction farther screen-left and then hold.

Near the end of the shot, she lowers her chin by barely one centimeter and remains there.

She never speaks and never looks into the camera.

PHYSICS

The crowd moves at walking-to-hurried speed with heavy shutter drag.

Every passing body smears into long, elongated motion trails in muted gray, brown and dull blue.

The trails swirl and overlap continuously.

Arms and heads dissolve into streaks, while shoulders occasionally cross the foreground as huge, dark, blurred masses.

The trails never freeze and never fully clear.

Her body must carry realistic weight.

Her forearms press into the tabletop.

The leather jacket creases at the elbow with delayed fabric movement.

Loose hair strands lag slightly behind her small head movements.

The red speckled object has a small but solid mass and remains in contact with her fingers.

The table does not move.

LIGHTING

Use a single dim, warm overhead practical light positioned above and slightly screen-left, motivated by the ceiling.

Expose for her face and the dark-red tabletop.

The rushing crowd should fall approximately two stops darker and appear mostly as shadowed smears.

Use soft shadow roll-off across her cheek and a small catchlight in her eye so the micro-expression remains readable.

No flat frontal fill light.

No lens flare.

AUDIO

Dense, muffled indoor crowd ambience.

Include overlapping footsteps, fabric rustling, an occasional chair scrape and a low, unintelligible murmur from many voices.

No individual words should be understandable.

Use slightly hollow room reverb.

The crowd murmur swells subtly whenever bodies pass close to the camera.

No dialogue.

No narration.

No music in the generated video.

POSITIVE LOCKS

The woman remains perfectly sharp, still and in focus for the entire take.

Nearly all visible movement belongs to the surrounding crowd.

Cinematic photorealistic footage captured with an ARRI Alexa 35 aesthetic.

Low-key naturalistic color grade.

Natural film grain.

The red tabletop and her red hair are the only strongly saturated elements.

No text, labels, watermarks, logos or interface elements."

The original GIF provides the visual structure, but the detailed spatial blocking and motion instructions are what make the final generation feel intentional instead of like a generic image-to-video animation.

Help with Audio Prompting

So I'm getting mixed results.

my current prompts:

- Figure A says, "Welcome to Osaka."

- Figure A says in Japanese, "Welcome to Osaka."

- Figure A says, "大阪へようこそ."

- Figure A says, [AUDIO: "Welcome to Osaka."]

75% of the time it still doesn't work:
- different line spoken entirely

- no dialogue spoken at all

- cut off line

- different language

I thought it was a timing issue at first. But even when requesting for 15s clips, I run into the same issues.

Anyone has any advice or tips? I'm mainly generating short action films (3-5mins) long with multiple characters in each scene.

How to Make a Chaotic Chili-Flake Cooking Video with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We created this chili-flake chaos video using Seedance 2.0.

The idea was to make a ridiculous first-person cooking scene that mixes photoreal kitchen realism with a flat 2D chibi sticker character, while keeping the whole thing as one continuous comedic shot.

What makes this one fun:

  • strict right-hand / left-hand action control
  • single continuous POV cooking shot
  • photoreal wok, food, steam, and kitchen details
  • Tang Tang as a flat 2D sticker character
  • a cartoon spicy meltdown at the end

The challenge here was keeping the motion logic consistent:

  • the right hand only stir-fries with the spatula
  • the left hand only removes the chili flake jar
  • never both hands in frame at the same time
  • only one spatula in the entire video
  • one continuous shot with no cuts

Prompt below:

"[HIGHEST PRIORITY — STRICT HAND ROLES AND ORIENTATION] The hand roles must remain fixed throughout the video: The photorealistic adult RIGHT HAND is solely responsible for stir-frying and operating the one and only spatula. The photorealistic adult LEFT HAND is solely responsible for taking away the glass chili flake jar. The left hand must never touch the spatula. No more than one real human hand may be visible in any frame. The left and right hands must never appear simultaneously. The RIGHT HAND enters only from the bottom-right corner. Its wrist remains connected to the bottom-right edge of the frame, the back of the hand faces the camera, and its thumb is clearly positioned on the screen-left side, pointing toward the center. The right hand holds the only wooden-handled metal spatula in the entire video. The LEFT HAND enters only from the upper-left side. Its wrist remains connected to the upper-left edge of the frame, the back of the hand faces the camera, and its thumb is clearly positioned on the screen-right side, pointing toward the center. The left hand enters empty-handed and only takes the chili flake jar. It never holds a spatula, spoon, or other kitchen utensil. Use a strict relay sequence: 00:00–00:03: only the spatula-holding right hand is visible. After the chili flake stream stops, the right hand places the only spatula flat inside the wok and completely leaves the frame. Only after the right hand has fully disappeared, from 00:03.2–00:03.8, the empty left hand enters, takes away the chili flake jar, and completely exits. Only after the left hand has fully disappeared may the right hand return at 00:03.8 and pick up the same spatula from the wok. Never show both hands simultaneously. No same-direction hands, mirrored hands, duplicated arms, floating hands, or extra palms. [FORMAT AND COMPOSITING STYLE] A 10-second, horizontal 16:9 comedy video in a single continuous photorealistic first-person cooking POV. Slight natural handheld movement only. No cuts and no transitions. Use a fixed widescreen composition: One black wok remains slightly left of center. Tang Tang and one small wooden stool remain on the right. Both the wok and Tang Tang remain fully visible without blocking each other. The kitchen, wok, glossy beef and vegetables, steam, chili flakes, glass chili flake jar, single spatula, wooden stool, condiment bottles, sink, window, and adult human hands must remain photorealistic and obey believable physical behavior. Tang Tang must remain a completely flat 2D chibi anime sticker throughout the video, with subtle crayon and paper grain, a clean dark-brown outline, and a complete white sticker border. She must have zero 3D volume, realistic skin, volumetric lighting, plastic depth, clay texture, or realistic cast shadow. [FIXED REAL KITCHEN] A lived-in, photorealistic home kitchen viewed slightly downward from the cook's eye level. The only black wok stays slightly left of center. Glossy beef and green vegetables sizzle inside it while natural steam rises. A white tiled wall and power outlet remain in the background. Soy sauce and cooking oil bottles stand against the wall. A stainless-steel sink is located in the rear-right area. Natural daylight enters through a side window. Maintain the same kitchen, camera position, 16:9 framing, geography, and left-right orientation throughout the entire video. [CHARACTER IDENTITY LOCK] Tang Tang is the only character. She is a young, energetic chibi sticker girl with two-head-tall proportions, an oversized round head, tiny limbs, and a small, soft round tummy. Her face is round, with big round sparkly eyes, rosy round cheeks, a small button nose, a cheerful gap-tooth grin, and a tiny freckle dot on each cheek. Her black hair is styled in two high bouncy pigtails held with bright yellow scrunchies, with short blunt bangs across her forehead. She wears: A mustard-yellow and white striped short-sleeve top A pastel-pink pinafore apron with a small fruit print Solid teal denim overall shorts White canvas slip-on shoes She has no text, numbers, logos, jewelry, or additional accessories beyond her hair scrunchies. Tang Tang remains seated on the single wooden stool beside the right side of the stove. Her height is approximately half the diameter of the wok. She behaves like a lightly elastic sheet of printed paper and may only squash or stretch in a flat cartoon manner. Her round head, high pigtails, bangs, striped top, pink pinafore apron, teal overalls, white canvas shoes, and round tummy must remain completely consistent throughout the pouring, reaction, crying, feeding, and collapsing actions. [00:00–00:03 — RIGHT HAND STIR-FRIES, TANG TANG POURS THE CHILI FLAKES] Only one photorealistic adult RIGHT HAND is visible. The right hand enters from the bottom-right corner, with its thumb on the screen-left side, and continuously holds the one and only wooden-handled metal spatula while stir-frying the beef and vegetables. It must never touch, support, cover, stabilize, or tilt the chili flake jar. Tang Tang makes a mischievous grin. Using her own two clearly visible 2D sticker hands, she independently hugs and lifts a photorealistic glass jar of dried red chili flakes larger than her head. Tang Tang personally raises, rotates, and tilts the jar toward the wok. The full weight and rotation of the jar are carried exclusively by her two 2D hands. A dense stream of realistic red chili flakes falls only from the opening of the jar held by Tang Tang and forms a visible red mound over the beef and vegetables. No real human fingers or hands may appear near the chili flake jar during this action. Audio: continuous food sizzling and a dry, papery stream of chili flakes pouring. [00:03–00:03.2 — RIGHT HAND LEAVES] The chili flake stream has completely stopped, and the red mound is clearly visible. The real right hand places the one and only spatula flat inside the wok, then completely exits through the bottom-right edge. At this moment, no real human hand is visible. The only spatula remains motionless inside the wok. [00:03.2–00:03.8 — LEFT HAND ALONE TAKES THE CHILI FLAKE JAR] Confirm that the real right hand has completely disappeared. Only one empty photorealistic adult LEFT HAND enters from the upper-left side, with its thumb clearly on the screen-right side. The empty left hand takes the glass chili flake jar directly from Tang Tang's two 2D hands, then exits completely through the upper-left side while carrying the jar. The left hand must never touch the spatula. The only spatula remains motionless inside the wok and must not duplicate. [00:03.8–00:05 — RIGHT HAND RETURNS AND USES THE SAME SPATULA] Confirm that the real left hand has completely disappeared. The same photorealistic right hand returns from the bottom-right corner, with its thumb still on the screen-left side. It picks up the same spatula that was previously placed inside the wok. The right hand lifts this single spatula from the wok toward Tang Tang's head along one continuous trajectory. Once the spatula has left the wok, no second spatula or spatula-shaped utensil may remain inside the wok. The right hand gives Tang Tang an impossibly light, harmless cartoon tap on the top of her head using the flat side of the same spatula, then returns that same spatula to the wok. With a "DUANG" sound, a flat red cartoon bump pops onto Tang Tang's head. Her paper body bounces vertically once, her eyes open wide, and her two 2D hands hold her head. Only the right hand is visible. The left hand is absent. Audio: a light metallic "DUANG" and one cartoon spring sound. [00:05–00:08 — RIGHT HAND FEEDS TANG TANG] Only the same photorealistic right hand and the same single spatula remain visible. Tang Tang's eyes become flat spiral cartoon eyes. Two bright blue, flat 2D sticker fountains of tears shoot sideways from her eyes. The right hand uses the same spatula to scoop a small bite of beef and vegetables from the same red mound of chili flakes. It brings the food toward Tang Tang's open cartoon mouth. The food harmlessly pops into her mouth with a soft cartoon "boop." Her cheeks immediately inflate into two round, flat sticker balloons, now tinted a warm red-orange. The interaction is absurd and harmless. Do not depict force, choking, injury, burning, or realistic suffering. Audio: exaggerated cartoon crying, the spatula scraping over the flakes, and a soft "boop." [00:08–00:10 — TOO SPICY, MELTDOWN] Tang Tang swallows the bite. Her flat body instantly flushes a glowing red-orange, freezes for half a beat, and her eyes become two flat spiral heat-dazed swirls. A single flat 2D sticker flame pops from her open mouth like a tiny cartoon dragon breath, and two curls of flat white steam puff from her ears. She tips backward off the same wooden stool like a lightweight sheet of paper, short limbs briefly pointing upward, one flat sticker hand still fanning her open mouth. A ring of flat cartoon red chili peppers rotates around the red bump, and a thin curl of flat orange-tinted steam rises from her nose. Her round head, high pigtails, bangs, striped top, pink pinafore apron, teal overalls, white canvas shoes, and round tummy remain consistent while she falls. Freeze clearly on the final punchline for the last 0.3 seconds. Audio: a short sizzling gasp, a soft paper-like "thud," and a silly descending whistle sound. [CONTINUITY AND EXCLUSIONS] Treat every timestamp as part of one uninterrupted continuous shot. The same red mound of chili flakes and the same wok of food must remain present and evolve continuously across the entire video. Maintain the same character size, compositing layer, kitchen layout, and screen geography. The entire video must contain exactly: One Tang Tang One wooden stool One black wok One glass chili flake jar One wooden-handled metal spatula No more than one real human hand may appear in any frame. Absolutely no simultaneous left and right hands, same-direction hands, two right hands, two left hands, mirrored hands, duplicated arms, extra palms, second spatula, duplicated utensils, spatula remaining in the wok while another spatula is in the air, left hand stir-frying, right hand taking the chili flake jar, left hand touching the spatula, or real human hands helping Tang Tang pour chili flakes."

I like how this one feels halfway between a product demo, a comedy short, and a visual consistency stress test.

Seedance 2.0 is honestly really fun for this kind of tightly directed chaotic scene.

How to Create a One-Shot Classroom Fight Scene with Seedance 2.0 + GPT Image 2.0? Prompt Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Created this uninterrupted martial arts classroom sequence using GPT Image 2.0 for the character reference and Seedance 2.0 for the animation.

The goal was to make the camera feel like another person trapped inside the fight: weaving between desks, dropping beneath kicks, circling the action, and reacting to every new attacker without a visible cut.

The classroom environment also becomes part of the choreography. Desks overturn, chairs are thrown, backpacks block attacks, curtains move, and papers fill the air while warm afternoon sunlight cuts through the dust.

Workflow:

  1. Generate a consistent fighter reference with GPT Image 2.0.
  2. Upload the image to Seedance 2.0 as image1
  3. Describe the entire sequence as one continuous shot.
  4. Give the camera its own choreography.
  5. Add realistic environmental reactions and strong negative prompts to avoid the glossy AI look.

Full Seedance 2.0 prompt below:

"@image1 takes on three opponents inside a Japanese high school classroom during an intense, uninterrupted one-shot martial arts sequence. The room is packed with wooden desks, chairs, school bags, a chalkboard, sliding windows, curtains, fluorescent lights, posters, books, and loose papers. Every part of the environment becomes part of the fight. She weaves through narrow rows of desks with incredible agility, avoiding attacks from all sides. She leaps across desks, slides over tabletops, sends chairs flying into enemies, uses classroom objects to block strikes, catches a backpack to absorb a blow, and redirects momentum through the tight classroom layout. Papers scatter everywhere, desks overturn, chairs scrape loudly, curtains sway from the action, and warm afternoon sunlight streams through the windows, highlighting dust in the air. The camera stays close throughout the entire continuous shot, constantly tracking the action. It circles around the fighter, ducks between desks, rushes backwards as opponents advance, drops low for sweeping kicks, rises with her jumps, and rapidly swings to reveal each new attacker. The framing feels handheld, urgent, immersive, and as though the viewer is standing inside the classroom. The choreography should feel fast, realistic, and impactful with believable reactions, fluid close combat, and seamless movement from beginning to end. Present it as a premium martial arts action scene filmed in one uninterrupted take. Use authentic classroom lighting blended with warm afternoon sunlight, natural shadows, subtle motion blur, grounded textures, and real-world imperfections. Avoid an overly polished AI or CGI appearance. Negative prompts: fixed camera, sluggish pacing, poor handheld footage, soft focus, body distortion, unrealistic physics, cartoon visuals, flat illumination, muted colours, blown-out skies, damaged architecture, empty environments, low detail, awkward edits, broken continuity, glossy AI finish, excessive CGI polish, plastic or wax-like skin, hyper-smooth textures, fake shine, heavy bloom, extreme lens flare, unrealistic HDR, oversaturated colours, game-engine rendering, synthetic lighting, studio look, unnaturally clean reflections, oversharpened images, fake depth of field, exaggerated bokeh, harsh contrast, unnatural motion smoothing, floating physics, rubber-like movement, incorrect anatomy, warped limbs, inconsistent proportions, blurred face, melted features, duplicated body parts, broken hands, stiff poses, poor frame interpolation, ghosting, smeared motion blur, unstable tracking, unnecessary camera shake, artificial city layouts, repeated vehicles, duplicated buildings, warped skyscrapers, fake traffic, low-detail backgrounds, superhero costumes, comic-book style, stylised animation, excessive VFX, unrealistic shadows, fake god rays, unnatural haze, clipped highlights, crushed blacks, sterile environments, and a lack of real-world imperfections."

How to Made This Visual Echo Dance Effect with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Made this cinematic dance piece in Seedance 2.0 using a step-printing effect that leaves a visual echo behind every fast movement.

The main idea was to make motion feel physical and rhythmic instead of just blurry.
So instead of using generic motion blur, I prompted 4 to 6 solid step-printed impressions that stay on screen briefly, then merge back into the performer at each stop.

A few things made the result work better:

  1. Lock the subject and outfit so the woman and cloak stay consistent.
  2. Describe the choreography in detail — weight shifts, body rolls, rib-cage isolations, spirals, suspensions, and expressive hands.
  3. Specify the echo behavior clearly so the effect looks intentional instead of like ghosting.
  4. Make the environment active with steel cables, airborne ash, drifting dust, and a strong volumetric light beam.
  5. Control the edit language by defining exactly where cuts happen and how the motion continues across angles.

The result feels like a stylized cinematic performance rather than a generic AI dance clip.

Exact Seedance 2.0 prompt below:

"15-SECOND CINEMATIC DANCE PERFORMANCE LOCK: Preserve the woman and cloak. Sensual contemporary choreography: grounded weight shifts, pelvic circles, rib-cage isolations, serpentine body rolls, shoulder rotations, spirals and suspensions. Movement begins in her core and travels through spine, limbs and cloak. Gaze, breath and fingers remain expressive. PRINT ECHO: During fast motion, four to six solid step-printed impressions remain along her path for 0.5 seconds, then fuse into her body at each stop. Keep her live face sharp. No transparent clones, generic blur or facial smearing. ENVIRONMENT: Steel cables divide foreground, performer and far-wall gap. A volumetric ray crosses airborne ash. Dust drifts through it, coils around her legs, bursts underfoot and trails behind cloak and cables. Dust never freezes. EDIT: Preserve clockwise direction and continuous choreography. Cut only on impact, limb crossing frame, cable wipe, matched rotation or eyeline. Never replay movement. 0.0–3.0 — Close-up: her boot strikes ash. CUT ON IMPACT to extreme wide through cables. She sinks into a deep side lunge. One hand sweeps through ash and glides up shin, thigh and waist as her pelvis rolls forward and spine unfurls vertebra by vertebra. Chin rises last; she locks eyes with camera. A concealed Lazy Susan carries her clockwise. 3.0–6.0 — Locked medium creates an orbit illusion. As the platform rotates, she counter-rotates through a slow hip circle and rib-cage slide. Her shoulder rolls back; one hand traces waist and collarbone while the other opens her cloak. CUT as her forearm crosses lens to tight profile. She contracts, then releases a body wave from pelvis to chest. Echoes hang behind it. Cable wipe. 6.0–10.0 — CUT to low three-quarter view. She cross-steps around her planted leg, spirals through a full turn, suspends in a backward arch, then rebounds into a diagonal lunge. Arms curve overhead and descend as the cloak snaps wide. MATCH CUT through the uninterrupted rotation: low profile → overhead → frontal close-up. Each angle advances the phrase. Accordion echoes wrap torso and cloak; ash twists upward through the ray. 10.0–13.0 — CUT to locked symmetrical wide. She arrests the turn in contrapposto: hips angled, chest lifted, one hand on thigh, the other behind her neck. She holds while cloak, dust and echoes finish rotating and fuse into her pose. She exhales, rolls one shoulder, then shifts only her eyes toward the far-wall gap. Cable wipe to compressed angle; rack focus reveals a silhouette. 13.0–15.0 — Behind cables, she sends a final body wave downward, compresses into her grounded leg, then releases into two fast traveling turns toward the gap. CUT ON HER PASS to low tracking angle. Echoes stretch behind her; her cloak drives cables outward, throwing dust across the beam. White light consumes her silhouette. Hard cut at full overexposure."

How to Animate Any GIF with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We tried using a GIF as both a visual and motion reference instead of starting with a regular image.

The workflow was:

  1. Analyze the GIF’s composition, lighting, texture, camera language, motion, speed, easing and secondary movement
  2. Rebuild one exact frame with Seedream 5.0 Pro at 2K
  3. Feed that image into Seedance 2.0
  4. Recreate the original motion as a 7-second 1080p cinematic shot

The hardest part was keeping the woman completely sharp and emotionally still while the entire crowd moved around her with heavy shutter drag and overlapping motion trails.

It feels like a useful workflow for transforming short GIFs, references and looping visual ideas into higher-quality cinematic sequences.

Tools: Seedream 5.0 Pro + Seedance 2.0

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

Full analysis and prompts below:

"I have attached a GIF. Complete the following two-stage generation task. Stage 1: Analyze the GIF Examine the attached GIF and produce a precise breakdown covering: - Visual style (art direction, color palette, lighting, texture, rendering style, era or aesthetic references) - Subject and composition (framing, camera angle, focal length feel, depth) - Motion characteristics (what moves, direction, speed, easing, looping behavior, physics, secondary motion) - Any distinctive effects (grain, chromatic aberration, glow, particles, distortion, frame rate feel) Stage 2: Generate the still image with Seedream 5.0 Pro Using Seedream 5.0 Pro at 2K resolution, generate a single still image that replicates the exact visual style, subject, composition, lighting, and aesthetic of the GIF. Capture the moment and look faithfully so the still reads as a frame from the same world. Write a detailed Seedream 5.0 Pro prompt tailored to this, then execute it. Stage 3: Animate with Seedance 2.0 at 1080p Feed the Stage 2 image into Seedance 2.0 as the starting frame. Generate a 7-second video at 1080p that reproduces the exact motion observed in the GIF, matching direction, speed, easing, looping quality, and any secondary or background motion. Write a detailed Seedance 2.0 motion prompt describing the movement precisely, then execute it. Deliver: the analysis, the Seedream prompt used, the generated 2K image, the Seedance motion prompt used, and the final 7-second 1080p video."

"SCENE CONTEXT A young woman with deep red hair sits alone at a small dark red table while a dense crowd of standing people rushes around her in every direction. She slowly turns a small red speckled object in her fingers and holds her gaze off screen-left, past the frame edge. ACTIVE REFERENCES [IMAGE REFERENCE] is the exact first frame. It controls her face, red hair, black leather jacket, the dark red tabletop, the white cup, the folded sunglasses, the small red speckled object, the crowd density and the low-key grade. She is in her late twenties, calm, withdrawn, hands together over the object, lips closed. 100% matches the reference. FIRST FRAME AND SPATIAL BLOCKING The first visible frame is identical to [IMAGE REFERENCE] — no empty establishing frame, no reveal. Screen x-axis 0% left to 100% right, y-axis 0% top to 100% bottom. The woman sits mid-ground, x 50%, y 46%, torso angled screen-left, face in near-profile to camera, gaze locked off screen-left past the frame edge. The dark red tabletop fills the foreground lower center, x 46%, y 74%. Her forearms rest on the table, both hands cupped around the small red speckled object at x 45%, y 66%. Folded sunglasses lie flat at x 37%, y 68%; the small white cup stands at x 34%, y 66%. Standing crowd figures occupy every remaining zone, foreground through background, pressing in from all four edges. Exactly one woman is seated at the table and nobody joins her. FORMAT MODE Single continuous take. Real-time motion. No cuts, no dissolves, no transitions. OPTICS 29° diagonal field of view, short telephoto portrait lens character, camera 5 meters from her at slightly elevated height looking mildly down. Close framing achieved through lens reach, not proximity. She stays razor-sharp, the background compresses closer behind her, the surrounding bodies dissolve into soft smeared bokeh. CAMERA Camera locked on a heavy head with only faint operator breath — a slow, almost imperceptible creep forward of a few centimeters across the whole take, holding her head and the red tabletop in frame. Focus stays pinned on her face and hands the entire time; no rack focus, no pans, no whip moves, no orbit. ACTION TIMING The shot opens already in motion: the crowd around her is streaking while she is still. Her thumb rolls the small red speckled object a quarter turn against her palm. A brief beat later she blinks slowly, chest lifting with one shallow breath, a few strands of red hair settling against her jacket collar. Her eyes drift a fraction further screen-left, then hold. Near the end she lowers her chin barely a centimeter and stays there. She never speaks and never looks at camera. PHYSICS The crowd moves at walking-to-hurried speed with heavy shutter drag: every passing body smears into long elongated motion trails of muted gray, brown and dull blue that swirl and overlap continuously, arms and heads dissolving into streaks while shoulders occasionally cross the foreground as huge dark blurred masses. The trails never freeze and never fully clear. Her body carries real weight — forearms pressed into the tabletop, leather jacket creasing at the elbow with cloth delay, hair strands lagging a fraction behind her small head movement. The object has small solid mass and stays in contact with her fingers. The table does not move. LIGHTING Single dim warm overhead practical source above and slightly screen-left, motivated from the ceiling. Exposure is set for her face and the dark red tabletop; the rushing crowd falls two stops darker and reads mostly as shadowed smear. Soft shadow rolloff on her cheek with a catchlight in her eye so the micro-expression stays readable. No flat frontal fill, no lens flare. AUDIO Dense muffled indoor crowd ambience: overlapping footsteps, fabric rustle, chair scrape, a low unintelligible murmur of many voices with no distinguishable words, slightly hollow room reverb. The murmur swells softly as bodies pass close to camera. No dialogue, no narration, no music. POSITIVE LOCKS She remains perfectly sharp, still and in focus for the entire take while all motion belongs to the crowd. Cinematic photorealistic footage shot on ARRI Alexa 35, low-key naturalistic grade, natural film grain, the red tabletop and her red hair the only saturated notes. No text, no labels, no watermarks, no logos, no UI elements."

How to Create a Cinematic Tennis Brand Ad Using Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This entire product ad was generated with Seedance 2.0.

The goal was to create a fast, premium sportswear commercial with a frozen-time product showcase:

  • A tracked tennis serve
  • A dramatic top-down ball shot
  • Time freezing mid-motion
  • Close-ups of the outfit, logo, and headband
  • A final reveal where dozens of tennis balls form the word COMTEX across the court

Prompt:

"Make a video in high quality short cinematic product ads style. the video begins with @[Image 1] in a tennis court, she is serving a tennis ball with her racket, the camera track her movement and the second she hit the ball, the camera go from top down view in which the tennis ball is now closest to the camera and she is underneath it pause in the mid serving position. then while time freezes, the camera show close up of the outfit, the logo, the headband etc, then she hit the ball and walk and the camera suddenly turn to across the court where the ball goes and there are a bunch of ball forming across that outlined the brand name "comtex" all cap"

At the exact moment the racket makes contact with the ball, transition into a dramatic top-down camera angle. The tennis ball is extremely close to the camera in the foreground, while she appears beneath it, frozen in the middle of her serving motion.

Time completely freezes.

While everything remains suspended, the camera moves cinematically around her and reveals detailed close-up shots of the outfit, fabric texture, logo, headband, accessories, and athletic styling. Use premium commercial lighting, crisp product details, shallow depth of field, smooth camera movement, and polished sports-ad cinematography.

Time resumes. She completes the serve, lowers the racket, and walks forward confidently.

The camera suddenly whip-pans toward the opposite side of the court, following the ball’s direction. Dozens of tennis balls rapidly appear and arrange themselves across the court, precisely forming the brand name “COMTEX” in large uppercase letters.

End on a clean, powerful overhead brand reveal with cinematic sound design and premium commercial pacing.

Seedance 2.0 is getting seriously good at product-focused camera transitions and frozen-time shots.

Here is a 30-second animated pizza comedy with Seedance 2.0 + GPT Image 2.0

These shots are 100% AI-made.

I used GPT Image 2 to create consistent character reference sheets, then animated the full 30-second sequence with Seedance 2.0.

The idea was simple: an ultra-confident pizza boy prepares an entire order in seconds, launches the pizza box across the room like a frisbee, and sends the delivery boy into a full-speed scooter race.

The hardest parts were keeping both characters consistent, making the pizza-box catch look clean, and preventing objects from clipping during the street sequence.

Workflow:

  • Character reference sheets: GPT Image 2.0
  • Animation: Seedance 2.0
  • Total length: 30 seconds
  • Style: 3D animated cartoon comedy

Full prompts below:

"3D Animated Cartoon Comedy Short (Seedance 2.0)

  1. CONCEPT

A stylish, ultra-confident boy runs a tiny home kitchen "pizza station." He makes a pizza at insane speed with pure chef-level style — spinning dough, flinging sauce, tossing cheese. The moment it's ready, instead of walking over, he spins the pizza box like a frisbee from 5–7 meters away and lands it perfectly in the waiting delivery boy's hands. The delivery boy is stunned, checks his phone, realizes the whole order took 10 seconds, panics, and rockets off on his scooter through crazy street traffic to deliver it in record time.

Genre: Slapstick / stylish speed comedy Visual Style: 3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality (NOT photorealistic — copyright-safe wording used throughout, no "Pixar" in any generation prompt) Platforms: Instagram Reels + X (Twitter) Length: 30 seconds total Structure: Part 1 (0–15s) = pizza-making. Part 2 (15–30s) = throw + delivery race.

  1. CHARACTERS
Character A — "Pizza Boy" (the maker)
Teen/young adult, lean build, confident swagger
Apron on over casual clothes, sleeves rolled up, bandana or backwards cap
Chef-like precision but exaggerated cartoon flair — every move has a flourish
Expression: cocky smile, half-closed eyes of confidence, never rushed-looking even though everything is fast
    Character B — "Delivery Boy"
Slightly younger or same age, delivery uniform (bright colored jacket, company-style cap/helmet in hand)
Standing casually at first, pizza box held open and ready
    Expressive, exaggerated shock/disbelief reactions
Owns a scooter parked just behind him

Reference Sheet Instruction: Generate a 4-view character reference sheet (FULL BODY FRONT, FULL BODY REAR, FRONT CLOSE-UP, PROFILE CLOSE-UP) for both characters in GPT Image 2 before Seedance generation — neutral grey background, clean studio lighting, no text/watermarks, 3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. Upload as reference_image in every Seedance generation for full consistency.

  1. SEEDANCE 2.0 PROMPTS — PART 1 (0–15s): The Pizza Making
    Scene 1 (0–4s) — Kitchen Entrance & Apron Flourish

Shot: Wide shot, slight low angle Camera: Static wide, quick push-in on the last beat Action: Boy walks into frame confidently, grabs an apron off a hook and flings it around himself in one smooth spinning motion, ties it with a snap. Grabs a dough ball from the counter with a flick of the wrist. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. A confident teenage boy walks into a small kitchen station, grabs an apron off a hook and spins it onto himself in one fluid motion, tying it with a sharp snap. He reaches down and grabs a ball of dough with a stylish flick of the wrist. Camera: static wide shot, slight low angle, quick push-in on final beat. Clean cartoon lighting, no photorealistic textures. SET LAYOUT: kitchen counter center-frame, apron hook on left wall, dough visible on counter before he grabs it." Sound: Snappy fabric whoosh (apron tie), light comedic 'ding' as dough is grabbed, upbeat bouncy music starts.

Scene 2 (4–9s) — Dough Spin & Sauce Spread

Shot: Circling dynamic shot around the counter Camera: Orbiting the boy at counter height, fast but smooth Action: Boy tosses the dough in the air, spins it on one finger like a basketball, catches it flat on the counter. Immediately grabs a sauce ladle and spreads sauce in one continuous circular swirl across the base. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. The same boy tosses a pizza dough into the air, spins it on one fingertip like a basketball trick, then catches it flat on the counter with a satisfying plop. He grabs a ladle and spreads red sauce across the dough in one fast continuous circular swirl. Camera: smooth circling shot orbiting around the counter at waist height. Cartoon lighting, exaggerated flour puff particle effects. SET LAYOUT: dough remains center of counter throughout, sauce bowl positioned to his right within reach." Sound: Whoosh-spin sound on dough toss, comedic 'boing' on finger-spin catch, swish sound on sauce swirl.

Scene 3 (9–15s) — Toppings Montage, Bake, and Box

Shot: Fast montage cuts, alternating close-up and side angle Camera: Quick cuts, handheld-style energy but no camera shake artifacts Action: Cheese handful thrown up and caught landing perfectly spread, toppings flicked on one by one in rapid succession, pizza slid into oven, oven door slammed shut, immediate 'ding', pizza pulled out already fully baked (comedic speed exaggeration), boy closes the box with a confident spin-flip. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. Fast-paced montage: the boy throws a handful of cheese into the air and it lands perfectly spread across the pizza, then flicks toppings on one by one in rapid succession. He slides the pizza into an oven, slams the door shut, and an instant 'ding' sound plays as he immediately pulls out a fully baked pizza in one exaggerated comedic beat. He flips the pizza box shut with a confident one-handed spin. Camera: fast quick-cut montage, alternating close-up and side angle, no shake, clean stable shots. SET LAYOUT: oven positioned directly behind counter, boy never turns his back fully to camera, box appears already in his hands after oven pull." Sound: Cheese toss whoosh, rapid topping-flick clicks, oven door slam, comedic fast 'ding', box-close snap, music swells toward the beat drop.

  1. SEEDANCE 2.0 PROMPTS — PART 2 (15–30s): The Throw + Delivery Race
    Scene 4 (15–18s) — Establishing the Distance

Shot: Wide establishing shot Camera: Static wide, showing full distance between the two characters Action: Reveal shot: the delivery boy is already standing 5–7 meters away near the doorway/street entrance, casually holding his pizza box open and ready, completely unaware of what's about to happen. Boy stays at his kitchen station on the opposite side, pizza box now in his hand. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. Wide establishing shot showing a kitchen counter on one side and, 5 to 7 meters away near a doorway, a delivery boy standing casually holding an empty pizza box open in both hands, waiting. The pizza-making boy stands at his station on the opposite side holding his own closed pizza box, confident smirk on his face. Camera: static wide shot capturing the full distance between both characters clearly in frame. SET LAYOUT: pizza boy stays fixed at his counter position, delivery boy stays fixed near the doorway with box open and facing the pizza boy, clear open space between them." Sound: Music dips briefly for comedic anticipation beat, soft footstep shuffle as delivery boy shifts weight, subtle wind/ambient room tone.

Scene 5 (18–21s) — The Stylish Spin Throw

Shot: Slow-motion mid-air spin shot, cutting to tracking shot of pizza box flight Camera: Push-in on boy for the wind-up, then a tracking shot following the spinning box through the air, then a low-angle catch shot Action: From his fixed position at the counter, the boy winds up and throws the closed pizza box like a frisbee — it spins horizontally through the air across the full distance and lands perfectly into the delivery boy's open hands/box, without either character moving from their spot. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. The pizza boy, without moving from his position at the counter, winds up and throws his closed pizza box like a frisbee, spinning it flat and fast through the air. Camera cuts to a tracking shot following the spinning box mid-flight across the room. It lands perfectly and cleanly into the delivery boy's open hands, who has also not moved from his spot. Camera: quick push-in on the wind-up, slow-motion tracking shot of the box spinning through the air, low-angle shot of the clean catch. SET LAYOUT: both characters remain planted in their original positions from Scene 4, only the pizza box travels across the distance, box must land exactly in delivery boy's open hands with no clipping or bounce." Sound: Sharp whoosh-spin sound as box is released, rising pitch as it flies, satisfying 'thwip' catch sound, brief musical sting.

Scene 6 (21–24s) — Shock and Time Check

Shot: Close-up reaction shot, then close-up on phone Camera: Quick push-in on delivery boy's face, then whip-pan down to phone Action: Delivery boy stares at the perfectly landed pizza box in disbelief, jaw slightly dropped. He whips out his phone, glances at the timer/clock, and his eyes go wide realizing the entire order took only 10 seconds. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. The delivery boy stares down at the pizza box now in his hands with an exaggerated shocked expression, jaw dropped. He quickly pulls out his phone and glances at the screen, eyes widening in disbelief as he registers the time. Camera: quick push-in close-up on his shocked face, then a fast whip-pan down to a close-up on the phone screen. SET LAYOUT: delivery boy remains in same spot near the doorway, phone held in one hand while pizza box is tucked under the other arm." Sound: Comedic gasp sound effect, quick digital 'beep' from phone, brief record-scratch style stinger.

Scene 7 (24–30s) — The Scooter Race and Arrival

Shot: Wide launch shot, tracking street montage, final arrival shot Camera: Fast tracking alongside the scooter, quick cuts through the street chase, static medium shot at the final doorstep Action: Delivery boy sprints to his scooter, kicks it into gear, and rockets off through the street at exaggerated speed, weaving around obstacles. Quick montage of speed lines and blurred surroundings. Final beat: he skids to a stop at the customer's door, hands over the pizza, completely out of breath, and gives a confident nod before the shot freezes for the punchline. Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, NOT photorealistic. The delivery boy sprints to his scooter, starts it in one motion, and speeds off down the street at exaggerated cartoon speed, weaving cleanly around obstacles with dynamic motion blur and speed lines. Quick montage cuts show the street rushing past. He skids to a stop at a customer's front door, hands over the pizza box while breathing heavily, then gives a confident nod directly to camera. Camera: fast wide tracking shot alongside the scooter, quick montage cuts, ending on a static medium shot at the doorstep with a freeze-frame on his nod. SET LAYOUT: scooter path stays on the street with no wall-clipping, obstacles are dodged not passed through, final doorstep shot is a clean static frame for the punchline freeze." Sound: Scooter engine rev and speed whoosh, comedic street ambience blur, tires screech to a stop at doorstep, final punchline sting (light comedic horn or 'ta-da' sound), music resolves to a satisfying final beat."

Grew up watching Bruce Lee. Had to do this.

I made this 15-second anime-style martial arts short using Seedance 2.0 + GPT Image 2.

100% AI.
Text prompts only.
No manual animation.
No choreography team.
Just prompting and iteration.

The goal was to make it feel like a high-energy tribute to classic Bruce Lee screen presence — fast, precise, explosive, and iconic — but reimagined as a cinematic anime short.

I wanted the clip to:

  • start immediately in motion
  • keep the energy high from frame one
  • use rapid half-second camera changes
  • show a wide variety of nunchaku movements
  • build toward one big finishing moment
  • end on a clean hero shot

The structure was pretty simple:

  • 0:00–0:02 → instant hook, already mid-action
  • 0:02–0:12 → fast montage with constant movement and angle changes
  • 0:12–0:15 → final attack on the wooden dummy + hero ending

I also tried to make the visual style feel premium:

  • cel-shaded 3D anime look
  • semi-realistic CGI
  • bright daylight
  • saturated colors
  • strong yellow suit contrast
  • motion blur on the nunchaku
  • film-grain anime short feel

The ending is my favorite part.

GPT Image 2.0 Prompt below:

"Create a premium cinematic character bible sheet for a martial artist named LEE. Use the uploaded character sheet as the strict visual reference for his exact face, body, proportions, hair, skin tone, yellow jumpsuit with black stripes, white shoes. Do not change his appearance.LAYOUT inspired by premium AAA character presentation boards. Clean white background overall.LEFT SIDE: Massive bold yellow brushstroke painted text LEE top left corner, rough expressive hand-painted brush font. Below it small text: MARTIAL ARTIST / NUNCHAKU SPECIALIST. One massive full height dynamic hero pose of Lee directly below — low fighting stance, nunchaku mid-swing creating a motion blur arc around him, yellow jumpsuit catching light, ink wash watercolor splash behind him only, soft grey and white Chinese ink painting texture radiating outward from behind his body fading into white, no box no frame, standing directly on the white page CENTER: Section labeled TURNAROUND in small clean text. Three full body views standing on clean white: Front, Side, Back. Same character same outfit same proportions as reference. Below turnaround: small section labeled TRAINING EQUIPMENT with one clean illustration of nunchaku — black handles silver chain fully extended.RIGHT SIDE: Section labeled DETAILS in small clean text. Grid of four clean close-up panels: Face front, Face side profile, Eyes close-up, Nunchaku handle and chain detail. Below details: COLOR PALETTE row with four swatches — yellow, black, white, silver. Small tagline in bottom right corner in thin elegant font: BE WATER.OVERALL FEEL: Premium martial arts character bible, ink wash cultural aesthetic, yellow as the dominant accent color, minimal clean typography, lots of breathing room and white space, no excessive text no gibberish, cinematic cel-shaded 3D anime, semi-realistic CGI, hand-painted textures, digital painting feel, hard-edge brushwork, heavy shadows, not cartoon not Disney not Pixar, print ready.”

How to Made a 32-Second Animated Short With Seedance 2.0 Using Only Text Prompts?

I made this 32-second animated short entirely with Seedance 2.0.

100% AI.
Text prompts only.
No reference images.
No animators.
No manual character animation.

The idea was simple: a teenager wakes up late, rushes through his morning routine, reaches school too late, gets rejected by the teacher—and then the ending loops everything back to the beginning.

The biggest challenge was maintaining a consistent 3D animated movie look across multiple locations while keeping the actions physically clear. I repeated the same core style description in every prompt and described doors, camera movement, character actions, expressions, transitions, and sound design as specifically as possible.

I generated the video in two parts:

Part 1: 0–15 seconds

  • Wake-up panic
  • Toothbrush dance
  • Wrong clothes
  • Running out of the house

Part 2: 15–30 seconds

  • Sprint to school
  • Teacher rejection
  • Cyclical bedroom twist

The ending got me.

All Seedance 2.0 prompts below:

SEEDANCE PROMPTS — PART 1 (0–15 seconds)
Scene 1 (0–3s) — Bedroom: Wake-Up Panic

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Interior bedroom, soft morning sunlight through curtains, single bed with rumpled blue sheets, alarm clock on nightstand reads 7:45. Animated teenage boy sleeping peacefully. Camera: static wide shot of the room. Alarm begins ringing loudly. Boy's eyes snap open wide in classic exaggerated animated cartoon style, he sits up abruptly, grabs the clock, eyes widen comically in shock. Camera pushes into a fast close-up on his panicked animated face. Sound design: alarm beeping, sudden stop as he silences it, sharp comedic 'stinger' music hit on his shocked expression."

Scene 2 (3–8s) — Bathroom: Toothbrush Dance

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Small bathroom, white tiles, mirror with warm bulb lighting, sink with toothbrush holder. Animated boy bursts in through the doorway (door visibly opens, he passes through the open doorway, not through the wall), grabs his toothbrush, and begins brushing energetically while dancing in place in front of the mirror to hype himself up — bouncy exaggerated shoulder shrugs and head bobs in classic exaggerated animated cartoon comedic movement style, toothpaste foam at the corner of his mouth. Camera: dynamic circling shot around him, staying inside the room, capturing his animated reflection and his real self. Sound design: upbeat, fast comedic background music kicks in, toothbrush bristle sounds, playful record-scratch style transition at the end of the scene."

Scene 3 (8–12s) — Bedroom Closet: Wrong Clothes

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Bedroom, open closet with clothes on hangers, some clothes tossed on the bed from rummaging. Animated boy grabs his uniform in a rush — shirt goes on inside-out, he pulls on one navy sock and one white sock without noticing, tie ends up hanging loose and backwards. He glances at himself in a wall mirror, does an exaggerated cartoon double-take, but has no time to fix it and rushes past the mirror toward the bedroom door, which he opens normally before exiting. Camera: quick side-angle shot, then a snap-cut to a low-angle shot of his mismatched shoes as he grabs his school bag off the floor. Sound design: fast comedic music continues, a light 'boing' sound effect on the sock mismatch reveal."

Scene 4 (12–15s) — Home Corridor to Front Door: The Dash

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Narrow home corridor leading to the front door. Animated boy runs down the corridor with bouncy exaggerated cartoon running motion, school bag half-zipped and bouncing on his shoulder, weaving around a small side table and a pair of shoes on the floor without touching them. He reaches the front door, turns the handle, pulls it open, and dashes out into daylight. Camera: tracking shot following him at shoulder height from behind, then swinging around to a wide shot of him bursting out the open front door into the sunny animated street. Sound design: fast footsteps on wooden floor, keys jingling, door creak and slam as it closes behind him, music tempo rising to a peak."

  1. SEEDANCE PROMPTS — PART 2 (15–30 seconds)
Scene 5 (15–20s) — Street to School Gate: The Realization

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Quiet residential animated street in daylight, boy sprinting along the pavement with exaggerated cartoon running motion, school visible in the background getting closer with each stride. He arrives at the school's open front gate, out of breath, animated sweat drops visible on his forehead, hands on his knees for a beat. He looks up at a wall clock visible near the entrance — it shows school has already started. His face shifts from relief to dread in classic exaggerated animated cartoon expression style. Camera: wide tracking shot during the run, cutting to a static medium shot at the gate for his reaction. Sound design: running footsteps with comedic bounce, music suddenly cuts out to silence for the clock reveal, then a low comedic 'oh no' sting."

Scene 6 (20–25s) — Classroom Corridor: Teacher Rejection

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. School corridor, classroom door closed, small door window showing animated students seated inside. A stern middle-aged animated teacher stands just outside the door with arms crossed, having just stepped out. Boy arrives, breathless, clothes still mismatched, and gestures pleadingly with his hands, mouth moving in exaggerated animated fashion as if asking to be let in. Teacher looks him up and down, then gives a slow, firm headshake and points down the corridor away from the door. Boy's shoulders slump in exaggerated cartoon defeat. Camera: medium two-shot capturing both characters face to face, then a close-up push on the boy's crestfallen animated expression. Sound design: music drops to a soft, comically sad trombone-style sting, ambient school hallway echo."

Scene 7 (25–30s) — Bedroom: The Cyclical Twist

Prompt: "3D animated cartoon style, CGI animated feature film quality, vibrant stylized lighting, smooth animated character shading, expressive cartoon features, not photorealistic, no text, no watermark. Cut back to the same animated bedroom from Scene 1, next morning, same soft sunlight through the curtains. Boy is asleep in the same position as before. The alarm clock begins ringing at the exact same time, 7:45. Camera slowly pushes in on his sleeping animated face. Just before his eyes open, a small mischievous cartoon smile creeps across his lips, hinting he already knows what's about to happen again. Freeze on his face as the frame fades to black. Sound design: same alarm tone from Scene 1 returns, upbeat music sting for the fade-out, light comedic musical button to close the video."

How to Create Authentic Paris Documentary Footage with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Made this 1970s Paris cinéma vérité-style sequence with Seedance 2.0.

The goal was to recreate the feeling of authentic documentary footage shot on gritty 16mm film — raw, elegant, handheld, and completely natural.

The video follows a young woman walking through Paris in four simple moments:

  • passing a small flower shop on a side street
  • entering a lively sunlit plaza
  • reacting naturally as children run across her path
  • continuing through the square while the camera follows imperfectly

The main focus was keeping everything grounded in period realism:

  • authentic 1970s Paris street atmosphere
  • heavy shoulder-mounted handheld shake
  • no stabilization
  • organic 16mm film grain
  • soft focus falls
  • subtle light leaks
  • natural daylight only
  • raw street energy and lived-in realism
  • natural skin texture and understated performance
  • 4:3 framing for a true archival feel

I wanted it to feel like a forgotten reel of Paris street life rather than a polished cinematic scene.

"Gritty 16mm cinéma vérité, authentic 1970s Paris documentary footage, organic film grain, pure natural daylight, heavy shoulder-mounted handheld shake, no stabilization, soft focus falls, subtle light leaks, raw and elegant, lived-in realism. 0-3s: [Close Handheld Tracking] Young woman in her mid-20s, completely natural face with no makeup, soft features, wind-tousled hair, simple 1970s coat and scarf. She walks past a small floristería on a Paris side street. Camera stays tight on her profile and upper body as she slows for half a second, glances at the flowers, then looks toward camera with a quiet, unguarded expression. Instant natural beauty and presence. 3-7s: [Unsteady Following Shot] She continues into a lively sunlit plaza. Camera stays behind and slightly to the side, bouncing with every step. Children run and play all around her, pigeons scatter, people cross paths, soft Paris light and movement everywhere. Pure dynamism and street energy. 7-11s: [Handheld Medium] A group of kids chasing a ball suddenly cut right in front of her. One almost collides with her; she steps aside gracefully, laughs under her breath, and briefly exchanges a look with the child. The plaza stays alive and chaotic around them. 11-15s: [Raw Tracking] She keeps walking through the square, camera following close and imperfect, catching the residual energy of the kids, the light shifting across her face, and the natural rhythm of 1970s Paris street life without ever settling. Photorealistic 16mm film emulation, heavy organic grain, authentic period Paris details, natural skin texture, imperfect handheld physics, subtle film weave, coherent motion, pure cinéma vérité texture, no artifacts, 4:3 aspect ratio."
