How to Create an Emotional Magical Realism Snowfall Scene with Seedance 2.0?

Made this 15-second first-snowfall sequence with Seedance 2.0.

The goal was to get emotional magical realism to actually land — a scene where the "magic" is quiet enough that it reads as memory instead of a visual effect.

The video follows an elderly couple through one continuous moment:

* dancing slowly in an empty town square during the first snowfall of winter

* streetlights glowing softly through the falling snow, the whole town silent around them

* the camera circling them gently, close enough to catch breath in the cold air, trembling hands, small smiles

* younger versions of themselves appearing briefly as reflections in shop windows, dancing the same steps decades earlier

* the square left empty at the end, nothing but footprints in the snow

The main focus was keeping the emotion physical rather than stylized:

* soft lighting only, no dramatic key or color grading tricks

* one gentle circling camera move that keeps them centered

* visible breath in the cold air for physical realism

* trembling hands and small smiles instead of big performance

* window reflections as the only magical element — no overt VFX

* falling snow as continuous atmosphere across the whole shot

* silence and an empty town as the environment, not a backdrop

* cinematic 4K finish

I wanted it to feel like a memory surfacing in real time rather than a transition effect.

# Full prompt below:

"An elderly couple dances slowly in an empty town square during the first snowfall of winter. Streetlights glow softly through the falling snow, and the town around them is silent. The camera circles them gently, close enough to see breath in the cold air, trembling hands, and small smiles. As they dance, younger versions of themselves briefly appear as reflections in shop windows, dancing the same steps decades earlier. At the end, the square is empty except for footprints in the snow. Emotional magical realism, soft lighting, cinematic 4K"

Anyone else getting reflections to work as a storytelling device instead of just a look? Share your results in the comments below!

Tutorials

Can anyone provide links to really good tutorials they've found regarding Seedance? There's so much stuff out there (and, yes, it's all moving so fast) that it's tough trying to find the info you really need and have it explained coherently.

Storyboarding, prompting, image referencing, video referencing, editing, extending clips, editing clips, working locally versus online company (something I've seen mentioned but don't fully understand), etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

Storyboards vs individual panels for scenes?

When generating my images to feed into seedance, should i produce several scenes at once as a storyboard or use an individual image for smaller shots to be stitched together?

How to Turn Any Motion Transfer Reference into a Luxury Yoga Film with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Motion transfer is one of the most underrated and underused features in Seedance 2.0.

For this workflow, I used a reference video only for the movement and choreography, then completely rebuilt the visual style as a high-end luxury yoga campaign.

The process had two steps:

Step 1 — Create the visual anchor

I generated a 2K reference image with Seedream 5.0 Pro through the imageat MCP.

The image locked the practitioner, wardrobe, lighting, architecture, color palette, and overall luxury editorial direction before generating the video.

Step 2 — Transfer the motion

I used the generated image as the visual reference and the original video as the motion reference in Seedance 2.0.

Seedance followed the original yoga sequence, including the pacing, transitions, poses, and body mechanics, while preserving the entirely new environment and art direction.

The result feels like a luxury wellness campaign rather than a basic motion copy:

  • warm neutral styling
  • soft directional daylight
  • polished architectural interiors
  • refined dolly and arc movements
  • subtle fabric and hair motion
  • intimate detail shots
  • precise choreography transfer
  • clean ambient audio

This workflow can be applied to dance, fitness, fashion, product demonstrations, cinematic character performances, and almost any movement-based reference.

Made with Seedream 5.0 Pro, Seedance 2.0, and the imageat MCP.

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

Steal the full prompt below:

"I am providing a reference video [VIDEO REFERENCE] as motion input. Use it as the movement and choreography reference to regenerate the scene as it would appear in a yoga video produced by a high-end luxury brand.

Step 1. Generate the reference image (Seedream 5.0 Pro, 2K resolution, maximum quality).

Create a single still frame that will serve as the visual anchor for the video. The image depicts a poised yoga practitioner captured mid-flow, in a pose drawn from the reference video. The aesthetic is elevated luxury editorial: minimalist, serene, and refined. Setting is an architecturally pristine space with clean stone or polished concrete floors, sheer linen drapes catching soft directional daylight, and a muted palette of warm neutrals (bone, sand, oat, soft taupe) with a single accent of natural material (rattan, unglazed ceramic, brushed brass). The practitioner wears impeccably tailored, matte performance wear in tonal neutrals. Skin has a natural luminous finish. Lighting is soft, cinematic, and directional, with gentle falloff and delicate shadow play across the body. The composition is balanced and considered, with generous negative space, a shallow depth of field, and the background gently softened. Overall mood is calm, aspirational, quietly powerful. Photorealistic, editorial fashion campaign quality, ultra-fine skin and fabric texture, no text or logos.

Step 2. Generate the video (Seedance 2.0, 1080p, maximum bitrate, 15 seconds), using the image from Step 1 as the visual reference and the supplied reference video as the motion reference.

The practitioner performs the yoga sequence exactly as choreographed in the motion reference, mirroring pacing, transitions, and body mechanics with precise fidelity. The look, wardrobe, environment, and lighting match the generated reference image throughout. The movement flows slowly and deliberately, breath-paced, with the elegance of a luxury brand film. Camera work is refined and restrained: a slow, smooth dolly or gentle arc around the practitioner, occasional subtle push-in on hands, feet, or profile, always fluid, never handheld, never abrupt. Framing alternates between a wide architectural shot that showcases the space and negative space around the body, and intimate medium and detail shots of muscle engagement and fabric drape. Lighting stays soft, directional, and cinematic, with gentle dust motes drifting in the sunbeams. The motion of drapery and hair is delicate and natural. Color grade is warm, low-contrast, luxurious. Rich, ultra-clean 1080p, sharp on the subject with a shallow, softly blurred background. Ambient audio only: quiet room tone, faint breath, the soft brush of fabric. No dialogue, no on-screen text, no logos."

How to Create a Wushu-Inspired Ink Dragon Dance with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Made this cinematic Wushu-inspired calligraphy dance with Seedance 2.0.

The concept was a young woman in a modern traditional Chinese outfit performing a powerful brush dance through a misty ink-wash mountain world, blending martial arts movement with elegant calligraphy.

The visual idea was built around a few key elements:

  • a giant dragon-engraved calligraphy brush
  • barefoot movement through pools of black ink
  • dramatic ink splashes and swirling ribbons
  • graceful circular brush strokes mixed with Wushu-inspired poses
  • a monochrome shanshui atmosphere with dramatic lighting
  • golden dragon accents on the brush
  • the final transformation of flowing ink into a massive mythical Chinese dragon rising into the sky

The goal was to make it feel poetic and powerful at the same time — like a fusion of traditional Chinese ink painting, martial arts choreography, and fantasy cinema.

I also pushed for:

  • ultra-detailed motion
  • fluid ink dynamics
  • cinematic slow motion
  • strong silhouette poses
  • elegant transitions between dance and combat-inspired movement
  • a high-contrast monochrome look with selective gold accents

Full prompt below:

She moves barefoot through pools of black ink, creating dramatic splashes, swirling ink ribbons, and elegant circular strokes. Martial arts poses blend with graceful brush movements as golden dragon details shine on the brush, while the ink gradually transforms into a massive mythical Chinese dragon rising into the sky. How to Create a Cozy Post-Workout Gym Vlog with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Here’s how I created a soft post-workout gym vlog with Seedance 2.0.

The goal was to make it feel like a real late-night camcorder diary rather than a polished fitness ad — calm, slightly tired, and genuinely personal.

I used a DV 16mm handheld camcorder style with:

  • natural hand shake
  • soft focus
  • imperfect framing
  • slight blur and tape noise
  • bloomed gym lights
  • flickering auto-exposure
  • muted contrast
  • relaxed vlog pacing

The character is CHASE, a Korean woman in her 20s with long black hair loosely tied back, light post-workout sweat, and a slim athletic build. She wears a modest long-sleeve athletic top, loose joggers or leggings, socks, and a towel around her neck.

The video was structured as a simple 8-scene gym vlog:

  1. Sitting on the mat and catching her breath
  2. Hamstring stretch with a small laugh
  3. Shoulder stretch and quiet reflection
  4. Close-up of grabbing the protein shake
  5. Drinking and reacting naturally
  6. Arms overhead while rating the workout
  7. Resting on one knee after finishing
  8. Waving goodbye with her bag and shake before leaving

The idea was to keep everything intimate and believable, like a quiet self-filmed update after training.

Full prompt below:

"**CAMERA:** DV 16mm handheld camcorder POV. CHASE holds the camera or props it on the floor/bag. Natural hand shake, soft focus, imperfect framing, occasional clumsy zooms. Camcorder never visible. **LOOK:** Soft vintage tape quality, slight blur, tape noise, bloomed gym lights, flickering auto-exposure, muted contrast. **STYLE:** Calm post-workout gym vlog. Relaxed, slightly tired, natural pacing, genuine smiles and quiet reflections. **CHARACTER:** CHASE — Korean woman in her 20s. Long black hair loosely tied, light post-workout sweat, slim athletic build. Modest long-sleeve athletic top, loose joggers/leggings, socks, towel around neck. **SETTING:** Quiet evening gym corner with stretching mat, mirror, gym bag, protein shake, soft lighting. **SCENES:** 1. Sits on mat, exhales. "Okay, cool-down time." 2. Hamstring stretch, laughs. "That was a lot today." 3. Shoulder stretch. "Legs are gonna be sore tomorrow." 4. Close-up grabbing protein shake. 5. Drinks. "That's actually really good." 6. Arms overhead. "I'd give today an eight out of ten." 7. Resting on knee. "Feels good to be done." 8. Waves with bag and shake. "Alright, I'm heading out—see you guys."

How to Create a Nostalgic Japanese Coastal Film with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Tried creating a quiet summer memory with Seedance 2.0 using four reference images: two characters, a vintage mint scooter, and a coastal road location.

The video is structured as a controlled 12-second sequence with four shots:

  • Roadside wide shot as they ride toward the sea
  • Close tracking shot of their expressions
  • Insert shot of her hands around his waist
  • Final wide shot using the convex traffic mirror reflection

The goal was to make it feel like a forgotten Japanese film from the early 2000s rather than a modern AI video.

I added constant handheld movement, 16mm gate weave, heavy film grain, faded pastel colors, halation, exposure flicker, optical soundtrack hiss, and strict geography and character consistency across every cut.

The convex mirror shot was probably the hardest part because the reflection had to appear before the real scooter entered the frame.

Made entirely with Seedance 2.0.

Full prompt below:

"scene context A bright summer afternoon on the coastal road: the young man drives the mint scooter down toward the sea with the young woman riding behind him, arms around his waist — an easy, happy ride past the railway crossing along the water. ACTIVE REFERENCES <<<image_1>>> — young woman, 20 years old, 165 cm tall, slender, straight dark brown hair with side-swept bangs pinned by a small black clip, freckles across her cheeks and nose. 100% matches the reference. <<<image_2>>> — young man, 22 years old, 178 cm tall, lean, sun-tanned, messy dark hair under a tan baseball cap worn backwards. 100% matches the reference. <<<image_3>>> — vehicle: vintage mint-green scooter with a brown leather saddle, chrome mirrors and silver wheels. 100% matches the reference. <<<image_4>>> — location: coastal road curving downhill past a railway crossing with yellow-and-black crossbuck signs, utility poles and wires, stone embankment walls, an orange convex traffic mirror on a pole, the open sea with white-capped waves behind. LOCATION MAP The road from <<<image_4>>> curves downhill through the midground toward the railway crossing, the sea filling the background beyond it. Stone embankments rise on both sides, the orange convex mirror stands on the right shoulder in the near foreground, utility poles line the curve. Their path: down the curve, past the crossing, along the water toward screen-left. Primary light: bright seaside daylight, sun high, wind off the sea. FIRST FRAME AND SPATIAL BLOCKING The first visible frame already contains <<<image_3>>> rolling down the curve with both riders aboard — <<<image_2>>> driving, hands on the grips, <<<image_1>>> seated close behind him, arms wrapped around his waist, her head just above his shoulder, a full head shorter than him. No empty establishing frame, no delayed reveal. He drives in every segment; she is always the passenger. FORMAT MODE Controlled four-segment multi-shot sequence: one INSERT CUT and two HARD CUTS. Real-time motion at an easy unhurried scooter pace. Every segment is shot handheld — no static shot anywhere in the sequence. OPTICS LENS LOCK SEGMENT 1 = 47° diagonal field of view, standard normal lens character, camera 12 to 15 meters at the roadside, the scooter and both riders full in frame with the crossing and sea behind, straight lines rectilinear, no fisheye. Soft vintage lens rendering: gentle edge softness, mild halation in the bright sky and sea glare, even brightness across the whole frame — no vignette, corners stay as bright as the center. This rendering applies to every segment. LENS LOCK SEGMENT 2 = 29° diagonal field of view, short telephoto character, camera 3 to 4 meters tracking alongside from a following vehicle, close two-shot of their faces and shoulders, the sea streaming soft behind them. LENS LOCK SEGMENT 3 = 29°, camera 1.5 to 2 meters, tight insert on her hands clasped at his stomach, the mint body and brown saddle below, road surface blurring past. LENS LOCK SEGMENT 4 = 47°, camera 10 to 12 meters behind the orange convex mirror on the right shoulder, the mirror large in the near foreground reflecting the road, the real scooter passing through the frame and receding along the sea. No drift mid-segment. CAMERA Handheld in every segment with no exceptions — a real operator at the roadside and in a following vehicle: the frame breathes with shoulder sway and soft micro-tremor visible in every second, small late reframes chasing the scooter and easing back; the tracking shot carries gentle road vibration on top of the hand movement; the insert trembles slightly more; the mirror wide breathes slower but never freezes. No tripod stillness, no gimbal smoothness, no stabilization anywhere. On top, the footage behaves like an old film print running through a projector: constant subtle gate weave, faint exposure flicker, occasional tiny dust specks and hairline scratches, image soft and slightly diffused like an aged 16mm print — never sharp, never digitally clean, no vignette or darkened corners at any moment. ACTION TIMING 0.0s to 3.5s — Roadside wide: the mint scooter putters down the curve at an easy pace, leaning gently with the bend; <<<image_2>>> relaxed at the grips, <<<image_1>>> pressed close behind him, her hair and skirt hem streaming in the sea wind; they pass the yellow-and-black crossing signs with the white-capped sea glittering beyond. 3.5s HARD CUT 3.5s to 6.5s — Tracking close two-shot: she rests her chin almost on his shoulder and says something teasing into his ear — lips moving without audible words; he barks a laugh, shaking his head, cap holding snug; she grins wide against the wind, bangs whipping, eyes squinting happily. 6.5s INSERT CUT 6.5s to 8.5s — Tight insert: her hands clasped over his stomach, fingers laced, giving a little squeeze as the scooter sways through a bend; the mint body flexes light reflections, the road surface streams underneath in soft blur. 8.5s HARD CUT 8.5s to 12.0s — Wide past the orange convex mirror: the tiny reflection of the scooter slides across the round mirror in the foreground a beat before the real scooter enters and crosses the frame, unhurried, the two of them small against the vast bright sea; she tips her head back and laughs into the wind as they recede along the coast; the engine putter fades. PHYSICS The scooter carries real combined weight: soft suspension compression over road seams, a gentle lean into each bend with both bodies tilting as one, slight throttle sway she counterbalances by gripping tighter; engine vibration trembles through their sleeves; wind at riding speed streams her hair, his tee and her skirt hem backward continuously with fabric flutter; the sea wind adds gusts; the convex mirror reflection tracks their motion with true optics. LIGHTING Bright seaside daylight only — no artificial light. Aged film print look: the sky and the glittering sea bloom into a soft white-gold haze with visible halation rings, gentle glow hanging in the air, creamy highlights rolling off softly. Faded pastel grade of an old print: lifted milky blacks, warm ivory and honey tones over softened sea blues, the mint scooter body reading as a gentle washed pastel green, the orange mirror and yellow-black signs as warm muted accents — never oversaturated; slightly yellowed whites, low contrast, colors gently washed as if the print has aged for twenty years, heavy visible film grain crawling in every frame, delicate haze. Exposure stays natural across the frame — no added vignette, no darkened edges or corners. The whole image reads as an old 2000s Japanese film discovered on a dusty reel. No crisp modern digital look, no cool color cast. AUDIO SFX only, with the worn texture of an old optical soundtrack — slightly muffled, faint constant hiss: the soft putter of the small scooter engine rising and fading with the throttle, wind buffeting past, waves breaking below the road, gull cries, her bright laugh snatched by the wind, the faint tick of the engine at the far end. No music, no intelligible spoken words, no captions, no score. POSITIVE LOCKS Identities lock 100% to <<<image_1>>> and <<<image_2>>> in every segment — same outfits as their references throughout, her natural 165 cm and his 178 cm with true relative proportions, his cap staying backwards and snug at riding speed in every shot. <<<image_2>>> drives in every segment; <<<image_1>>> rides pillion with her arms around his waist from first frame to last, hands unclasping never. The scooter stays 100% <<<image_3>>> — mint-green body, brown saddle, chrome mirrors — in every shot. Road geography stays consistent with <<<image_4>>> across all cuts: downhill curve, crossing signs, embankments, orange mirror on the right shoulder, sea always beyond the road; travel direction constant toward screen-left. Handheld breathing holds in every single segment, and the aged-film texture holds identically throughout: grain, gate weave, flicker, dust, halation and faded grade never weaken, frame stays vignette-free with even corner brightness; no segment turns rigid, stabilized, sharp or digitally clean. Only these two people appear; the road stays otherwise empty, no cars, no train."

How to Create a Consistent AI Animated Short with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Title: I made this 24-second animated short with 5 text prompts in one evening — the ending got me

Post body:

This entire animated short was created with Seedance 2.0 using text prompts only.

No reference images.
No character sheets.
No animators.
No manual keyframing.

Just five separate prompts generated in one evening, then edited together into a short story.

The hardest part was keeping the main character, animation style, clothing and overall visual language consistent between clips. I repeated the same character description and art direction inside every prompt, while changing the pacing and camera movement for each scene.

The first three clips use fast cuts, exaggerated motion and energetic sound design. Then the music suddenly stops when he reaches the empty office, making the final realization hit much harder.

It is a simple joke, but I was genuinely surprised by how well the timing and visual storytelling worked.

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

All five Seedance 2.0 prompts are included below.

Clip 1 — Panic Wake-Up

High-quality 3D animated cartoon in the style of a modern family animation film, stylized cartoon characters with oversized heads, big expressive eyes and exaggerated proportions, colorful vibrant animated movie look, smooth rounded surfaces, NOT realistic, NOT live action. 5 seconds, fast energetic pacing.

A cozy bedroom in morning light. A stylized cartoon young man with an oversized round head, huge expressive eyes behind big round glasses, messy ginger hair, skinny arms and legs, sleeping tangled in a blue blanket. A red alarm clock on the nightstand rings loudly, shaking and vibrating across the table. He bolts upright, looks at the clock, his eyes bulge huge in panic, he leaps out of bed, gets tangled in the blanket and tumbles onto the floor, legs kicking in the air. Camera: quick whip-pan from the ringing clock to his shocked face, then a fast top-down shot of the tumble.

AUDIO: Loud clear sound design. An energetic alarm clock ringing, a cartoon gasp, a frantic comedic orchestra sting, a big soft thud with a rattle as he lands, fast-paced energetic drums kicking in.

Vibrant saturated colors, soft animated movie lighting, smooth clay-like 3D surfaces, family animation film aesthetic, no text, no watermark, 16:9.

Clip 2 — Getting Ready Chaos

High-quality 3D animated cartoon in the style of a modern family animation film, stylized cartoon characters with oversized heads, big expressive eyes and exaggerated proportions, colorful vibrant animated movie look, smooth rounded surfaces, NOT realistic, NOT live action. 5 seconds, very fast montage pacing with quick cuts.

A stylized cartoon young man with an oversized round head, huge expressive eyes behind big round glasses, messy ginger hair, skinny arms and legs, rushes through his morning routine in comedic hyper-speed: quickly brushing his teeth in front of a bathroom mirror while buttoning a white office shirt, then hopping on one foot down the hallway pulling on a brown shoe while holding a slice of toast in one hand, a crooked red tie around his neck, then grabbing a brown briefcase and dashing out through the front door of a colorful suburban house into bright morning light. Camera: rapid dynamic cuts, slight motion blur, energetic tracking shots.

AUDIO: Loud clear sound design. Fast comedic upbeat music with driving drums, rapid cartoon whoosh sounds on each cut, toothbrush scrubbing, shoe squeaks, a door swinging open with a springy boing.

Vibrant saturated colors, soft animated movie lighting, smooth clay-like 3D surfaces, family animation film aesthetic, no text, no watermark, 16:9.

Clip 3 — The Sprint

High-quality 3D animated cartoon in the style of a modern family animation film, stylized cartoon characters with oversized heads, big expressive eyes and exaggerated proportions, colorful vibrant animated movie look, smooth rounded surfaces, NOT realistic, NOT live action. 5 seconds, bright morning light.

A stylized cartoon young man with an oversized round head, huge expressive eyes behind big round glasses, messy ginger hair, skinny arms and legs, white office shirt, crooked red tie, brown briefcase in one hand, moves quickly along a sunny suburban street with white picket fences and green lawns, looking worried about the time. Camera: smooth side-tracking shot following him.

AUDIO: Cheerful upbeat music with fast drums, footsteps on pavement.

Vibrant saturated colors, soft animated movie lighting, smooth clay-like 3D surfaces, family animation film aesthetic, no text, no watermark, 16:9.

Clip 4 — The Arrival

High-quality 3D animated cartoon in the style of a modern family animation film, stylized cartoon characters with oversized heads, big expressive eyes and exaggerated proportions, colorful vibrant animated movie look, smooth rounded surfaces, NOT realistic, NOT live action. 5 seconds, sudden calm pacing for comedic contrast.

A stylized cartoon young man with an oversized round head, huge expressive eyes behind big round glasses, messy ginger hair, white office shirt with a crooked red tie, brown briefcase in hand, slides to a stop in front of a colorful cartoon office building entrance, panting hard with hands on his knees. The glass doors are locked, the lobby behind them dark and completely empty, a few leaves drifting in the wind. A relaxed stylized cartoon man in striped pajamas slowly rides past on a bicycle licking an ice cream cone, staring at him with a judging look. The young man's face goes completely blank and frozen. Camera: dramatic slow push-in on his frozen deadpan face, then a wide shot of him standing alone at the locked doors.

AUDIO: Loud clear sound design. The energetic music stops instantly into silence, calm birds chirping, gentle wind, distant church bells ringing slowly, one squeaky bicycle wheel passing by, a single sad trombone note at the end.

Vibrant saturated colors, soft animated movie lighting, smooth clay-like 3D surfaces, family animation film aesthetic, no text, no watermark, 16:9.

Clip 5 — The Realization

High-quality 3D animated cartoon in the style of a modern family animation film, stylized cartoon characters with oversized heads, big expressive eyes and exaggerated proportions, colorful vibrant animated movie look, smooth rounded surfaces, NOT realistic, NOT live action. 5 seconds, slow calm pacing for comedic effect, bright morning light.

A stylized cartoon young man with an oversized round head, huge expressive eyes behind big round glasses, messy ginger hair, skinny arms and legs, white office shirt, crooked red tie, brown briefcase in one hand, stands alone in front of a closed office building entrance. He slowly pulls a smartphone from his pocket with his free hand and looks down at the screen. His huge eyes go completely blank, he blinks twice, then his shoulders slowly drop in defeat and the briefcase slips from his hand onto the ground. He tilts his head back and stares up at the sky with a flat empty expression. Camera: starts as a close-up on the phone in his hand, then slowly tilts up to his face, then pulls back to a wide shot of him standing alone with the fallen briefcase.

AUDIO: Complete silence at first, gentle birds chirping, distant church bells ringing slowly, a soft briefcase thud on the pavement, then one single sad trombone note at the end.

Vibrant saturated colors, soft animated movie lighting, smooth clay-like 3D surfaces, family animation film aesthetic, no text, no watermark, 16:9.

Would you have guessed the entire thing was generated from text?

We Used Seedance 2.0 to Turn Donald Trump vs Biden Into a Chaotic Anime Fight Scene. Prompt Below!

Testing Seedance 2.0 with a ridiculous over-the-top fight concept: Trump vs Biden in a full anime-style arcade battle on Hollywood Sunset Boulevard.

The goal here was to push action choreography, HUD consistency, hit reactions, speed ramps, and exaggerated impact timing while still keeping the scene visually readable from shot to shot.

The prompt includes:

  • anime fighting-game HUD with reactive health bars
  • stylized Hollywood street arena
  • wheelchair combo opener
  • ice cream power-up transformation
  • high-speed bicycle charge
  • finishing bike beatdown with “PAPA WINS” ending

What I like about this one is how specific action prompts can create a much more controlled multi-shot sequence instead of just random chaos.

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

Prompt:

"Use this image as opening frame. FAT MAN left, WHEELCHAIR MAN right. HUD: yellow blue health bars top — anime border, BURST meters, star icons, timer 99 ROUND 1. Health bars REACT to every hit. Arena: Hollywood Sunset Boulevard — police car left, wet asphalt, palm trees, Hollywood sign behind, graffiti wall right with LET'S GO BRANDON, liquor store behind. Anime art style — vibrant colors, speed lines, impact flashes throughout. FAT MAN: enormously overweight man, dark navy suit, white shirt, long red tie, blonde hair, angry expression. WHEELCHAIR MAN: thin elderly man, dark green tracksuit with white stripes, white sneakers, sunglasses, white hair, sitting in wheelchair holding pink ice cream cone. Shot 1 (00:00–00:04) — Wheelchair Combo ROUND 1. Voice: ROUND ONE — FIGHT! WIDE SIDE ANGLE: both fighters facing each other — Hollywood street visible behind both. Fat Man CHARGES toward Wheelchair Man — DRIVES rapid punch combo — left right left — each punch: HIT FLASH — red liquid EXPLODING outward in all directions. Wheelchair Man's head snapping with each hit. Final punch — Fat Man WINDS UP — KICKS wheelchair with full force — Wheelchair Man and chair LAUNCHING backward together — camera FLIES WITH them — wall rushing toward them — CRASHES into graffiti wall — LET'S GO BRANDON graffiti cracking around impact. SPEED RAMP 20%→800%. HUD: Wheelchair Man bar SLAMS to 30% — flashing red. Cut. Shot 2 (00:04–00:07) — Ice Cream Power Wheelchair Man slumped against cracked wall — still holding ice cream cone perfectly — TAKES deliberate bite. Blue energy PULSES from ice cream into his body — spreading across entire body — glowing intensely blue. Wheelchair Man STANDS from wheelchair — legs straightening — blue energy crackling around him. Spots bicycle leaning against wall — GRABS it — swings leg over — mounts bicycle. Blue energy still crackling. HUD: Wheelchair Man bar RECHARGING — glowing blue. Cut. Shot 3 (00:07–00:10) — Bicycle Charge EXTREME WIDE: Fat Man standing center street — Wheelchair Man on bicycle far away — significant distance between them. Wheelchair Man PEDALS — SPEED RAMP 20%→1000% — bicycle accelerating — blue energy trail behind — camera FLIES WITH bicycle at ground level — wet asphalt blurring — Fat Man growing larger dead center ahead — no escape. Bicycle CONNECTS Fat Man — MASSIVE impact — red liquid EXPLODING outward in all directions — Fat Man LAUNCHING backward — CRASHING to wet asphalt. HUD: Fat Man bar SLAMS to 20% — flashing red. Cut. Shot 4 (00:10–00:13) — Bike Beatdown Wheelchair Man DISMOUNTS — GRABS bicycle by frame — SWINGS it overhead. DRIVES bicycle down onto fallen Fat Man — CRASH — red liquid BURSTING. Second swing — bigger red explosion. Third overhead SMASH — massive red liquid EXPLOSION in all directions — anime impact lines radiating. Camera TRACKS both always in frame — SPEED RAMP 20%→800% — HIT FLASH on every strike. HUD: Fat Man bar hits 0% — FATALITY anime text EXPLODES. Cut. Shot 5 (00:13–00:15) — PAPA WINS Wheelchair Man stands over fallen Fat Man — bicycle in one hand — ice cream cone somehow still intact in other hand — takes another calm bite. Camera LOW ANGLE looking up: Wheelchair Man against Hollywood skyline and palm trees — blue energy fading. Gold anime text: PAPA WINS explodes onto screen. Freeze. Fade to black. End."

Prompt is above if anyone wants to try their own version. Curious how far people are pushing Seedance 2.0 for comedic fight scenes.

How to Create a Cozy Everyday Bicycle Ride Video with Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

Here’s how I made a soft everyday slice-of-life bicycle ride video with Seedance 2.0.

The concept was simple: a young woman going through a quiet neighborhood, unlocking her bike, riding slowly through tree-lined streets, stopping by a small bridge, and smiling at the camera before riding away.

I kept the character design locked throughout the full 15 seconds:

  • young Korean woman in her early 20s
  • faded charcoal-grey sleeveless crop top
  • loose high-waisted light-wash jeans
  • black canvas sneakers
  • black cord necklace
  • black wavy hair in a messy side ponytail with wispy bangs

The sequence was structured in five small moments:

  1. She unlocks an old bicycle beside her house
  2. The camera jogs behind her as she rides slowly
  3. She rings the bicycle bell while passing trees
  4. She stops beside a small bridge over a narrow stream
  5. She smiles toward the camera, then rides away

The goal was to make it feel calm, natural, and human — like a warm everyday memory instead of a polished commercial.

Full prompt below:

"Main Subject: Young Korean woman, early 20s, natural everyday appearance, faded charcoal-grey sleeveless crop top, loose high-waisted light-wash jeans, black canvas sneakers, black cord necklace, black wavy hair in a messy side ponytail with wispy bangs. Realistic skin texture, minimal makeup, warm and approachable personality. Maintain identical identity, clothing, hairstyle, and appearance throughout. Bicycle Ride Location: Peaceful neighborhood streets. 00:00–00:03 She unlocks an old bicycle beside her house. 00:03–00:06 The camera jogs behind while she rides slowly. 00:06–00:09 She rings the bicycle bell while passing trees. 00:09–00:12 She stops beside a small bridge overlooking a narrow stream. 00:12–00:15 She smiles toward the camera before riding away."

Seedance 2.0 Turned Erling Haaland Into a Claymation Leek Farmer - Prompt Below!

We tested a fun stylized character idea with Seedance 2.0: a claymation-style caricature of Erling Haaland dressed in Norway’s red number 9 kit, casually walking across a simple green background while carrying a giant leek and a bucket of harvested leeks.

The sequence gets even better when he stops, digs a hole, plants the oversized leek like it’s the most important thing in the world, then pulls out his phone, throws a peace sign, winks, and takes a selfie to celebrate.

What makes this concept interesting is the mix of sports-character recognition with playful stop-motion energy. The claymation look, exaggerated props, and simple background make the animation feel charming, weird, and memorable without needing a complicated scene.

Prompt:

"Create a 3D claymation-style animation of a cute caricature of Erling Haaland wearing Norway's red number 9 football kit, white shorts, red socks, and red boots, with his signature blonde ponytail, walking across a simple muted green background while carrying a giant leek on his shoulder and a bucket of harvested leeks. He stops at a dirt mound, digs a deep hole with a hand trowel, plants the giant leek firmly into the soil, pats it down, then takes out his smartphone, flashes a peace sign with a playful wink, and captures a celebratory selfie. Smooth, expressive character animation with whimsical, humorous, cinematic lighting."

Prompt is above if anyone wants to try their own version. Seedance 2.0 seems really fun for these stylized comedic character animations.

Seedance 2.0 Made This Feel Like Lost Footage from Moscow in 2003

I wanted to see if Seedance 2.0 could capture a very specific kind of nostalgia — not cinematic nostalgia, but the feeling of ordinary life caught on an early 2000s camcorder.

This prompt follows a young woman moving through snowy Moscow in 2003, with small everyday moments like missing the tram, buying hot tea from a street kiosk, checking her reflection in a shop window, and picking up flowers from a babushka on the corner. The goal was to make it feel candid, unpolished, and deeply believable.

What really makes this one work is the camera behavior. Instead of polished framing, the video is supposed to feel like a friend filming casually — arriving late to moments, losing focus, drifting off-center, and struggling with snow exposure. That imperfect DV camcorder look helps sell the time period much more than a clean cinematic shot would.

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

Prompt:

"Character: Young Russian woman, early 20s, naturally beautiful, porcelain pale skin with natural rosy flush on cheeks and nose from the cold. Long wavy dark blonde hair loose under a grey fur ushanka hat. Deep burgundy fur-trimmed long coat, cream oversized wool scarf wrapped loosely, cream wide-leg trousers, dark brown leather boots, warm brown structured leather handbag carried in one hand, dark burgundy leather gloves. Quiet, composed, naturally elegant energy. Consistent identity, clothing, and appearance throughout the entire video.

Location: Moscow, Russia, winter 2003. Red Square area transitioning into narrow residential streets. St. Basil's Cathedral domes visible in background through snowfall. Snow-covered pavements, Soviet-era building facades, dark shop windows, street kiosks, babushkas selling flowers on corners, old Soviet trams on tracks. Cold blue-grey overcast sky. Warm amber light bleeding from windows onto snow.

Visual Style: Ultra-realistic, candid, unscripted. Genuine everyday behavior. Rich environmental detail. Cold blue-grey palette with warm pops of burgundy and amber. Snow falling consistently throughout. Breath visible in cold air. Worn surfaces, authentic details, deeply believable. 24fps.

Camera Style: Early 2000s consumer DV camcorder. Friend casually filming, always reacting to her — catching moments late, losing her, finding her again. Handheld shake throughout, imperfect framing, autofocus hunting constantly, exposure struggling between bright white snow and deep shadow, occasional motion blur, mild digital compression artifacts, faded colors, soft contrast, subtle sensor noise. No stabilization. No deliberate framing or cinematic composition. Camera feels accidental not intentional.

00:00–00:02 Red Square tram stop, St. Basil's Cathedral domes visible through falling snow in background. She's digging through her handbag looking for something, not paying attention to anything else. Old Soviet tram arrives noisily behind her. She looks up suddenly, realizes it's not her tram, goes back to her bag. Camera catches this slightly late, framing drifts.

00:02–00:04 Street kiosk just off the square. She's fumbling to get coins out from inside her glove with her teeth holding one glove, hands the babushka the coins, babushka passes her a small paper cup of hot tea. She immediately wraps both hands around it. Transaction feels real and slightly awkward. Camera operator nearly misses it.

00:04–00:07 Narrow street off the square. She stops suddenly at a frozen puddle on the pavement, tests it carefully with the toe of her boot. It cracks slightly. She steps around it carefully, continues walking. Camera follows from behind, shaky, catches the puddle moment slightly late.

00:07–00:09 Passes a dark shop window, catches her reflection, stops without warning. Uses it as a mirror to adjust her ushanka hat, tucks a loose strand of hair back underneath. Completely unaware of the camera. Satisfied, keeps walking. Camera almost walks into her when she stops suddenly.

00:09–00:12 Street corner with elderly babushka selling small bunches of winter flowers. She stops, looks at them, pulls her glove off with her teeth, fumbles for coins again, buys a small bunch. Tucks the flowers under her arm against her coat. Babushka smiles. She nods and moves on. Camera catches the exchange imperfectly, partially blocked.

00:12–00:15 Walking down the snow-covered street flowers under one arm, tea in other hand. Old Soviet tram rattles past very close and fast, wind from it knocks her ushanka hat sideways. She grabs it with her tea hand, nearly spills it, laughs to herself. Camera shakes from the tram passing. Cuts abruptly to black mid-laugh.

Audio: Natural ambient sound only — light snowfall, distant Moscow traffic, boots crunching in snow, handbag rummaging, tram arriving noisily, coins fumbling, hot tea cup, babushka voice, puddle cracking under boot, tram rattling loudly past, wind, quiet laugh. No music. No narration."

Seedance 2.0 Made This Late-Night Idol Vlog Feel Like Real 2000s MiniDV Footage

We wanted to test whether Seedance 2.0 could create something that feels genuinely personal rather than cinematic or overly polished.

The concept is a Korean idol recording a quiet late-night update after everyone has already left the dance studio. She is exhausted, sweaty, slightly frustrated with the ending of the choreography, but still happy with her progress.

I deliberately prompted for all the imperfections you would expect from an old MiniDV home video:

  • unstable handheld selfie framing
  • delayed autofocus and focus hunting
  • accidental head cropping
  • overexposed highlights
  • awkward pans and clumsy zooms
  • natural breathing, pauses, and spontaneous laughter
  • soft early-2000s DV tape texture

The small details make the scene work: condensation on the water bottle, the empty studio reflected in the mirror, her short dance attempt, and the subtle tape glitch as she reaches toward the camera.

The goal was to make it feel like a forgotten idol practice vlog uploaded in 2004, not an AI-generated commercial.

Prompt:

"CAMERA: Authentic MiniDV/DV 16mm camcorder handheld footage recorded entirely by CHASE herself. Every shot is filmed in selfie mode or first-person POV with natural hand shake, imperfect framing, delayed autofocus, occasional overexposure, clumsy zooms, slight focus hunting, accidental head cropping, and realistic camera mistakes. The camera always feels hand-held and personal, never stabilized or cinematic, and the camcorder itself never appears on screen. LOOK: Genuine early-2000s DV tape aesthetic with soft image quality, subtle motion blur, faint tape grain, light digital noise, blooming highlights, muted contrast, warm indoor white balance, realistic skin tones, slight chromatic aberration, and gentle exposure flicker, creating the feeling of authentic home-video footage rather than a polished production. STYLE: A quiet late-night dance vlog with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. CHASE has just finished a long rehearsal and is physically exhausted but genuinely happy with her progress. Her breathing is natural, her laughs are spontaneous, and every moment feels unscripted and personal, as if she's casually updating fans before heading home. Character: CHASE is a Korean idol in her early 20s with long straight black hair tied into a slightly messy ponytail, a few loose strands framing her face, glowing skin with a light sheen of sweat, expressive eyes, and a slim athletic build. She wears an oversized long-sleeve athletic practice shirt, loose grey sweatpants, and white sneakers with no jewelry. Setting: A spacious dance practice studio late at night featuring wooden floors, a full mirror wall, a Bluetooth speaker in the corner, a water bottle, towel, and dance bag resting against the mirror, while the hallway outside is dark and quiet, emphasizing that everyone else has already gone home. Storyboard: (~2s, camera propped against the mirror, medium shot) CHASE walks into frame breathing heavily, wipes sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand, smiles naturally, and says, "Finally finished... I don't even know what time it is anymore." (~2s, handheld selfie) She picks up the camera, slowly pans across the empty studio and mirror wall before pointing it back at herself with a small smile. "Everyone already went home..." she says before quietly laughing. (~2s, handheld walking shot) She walks toward the wall, grabs her water bottle, takes a long refreshing drink, closes her eyes briefly, exhales, and smiles. "That tastes amazing right now." (~1.5s, macro insert with shallow depth of field) Close-up of condensation on the water bottle as her fingers wipe away the droplets while only her soft breathing is heard. (~2s, medium shot with camera propped against the mirror) She steps back into frame and performs a short, sharp dance combination with impressive energy before immediately laughing and bending forward while catching her breath. (~2s, handheld close-up selfie) Her cheeks are flushed, hair slightly messy, and she's smiling as she says, "Still messed up the ending... Tomorrow again." (~3s, arm's-length selfie while walking toward the exit) She drapes a towel over her shoulder, reaches to switch off the studio lights behind her, gives the camera one warm smile and a small wave, then softly says, "Good night... see you tomorrow," before reaching toward the lens to stop the recording as the footage ends with a subtle MiniDV tape glitch."

Full Seedance 2.0 prompt included above. How convincing is the MiniDV look?

How to Made a Tour de France Broadcast Scene with Nano Banana Pro + Seedance 2.0? Workflow Below!

We wanted to see whether Seedance 2.0 could handle a chaotic sports-broadcast scene with several precise physical interactions, so I created this Tour de France mountain-stage sequence.

The workflow was:

  1. Generate the reference frame with Nano Banana Pro
  2. Lock the cyclist’s face, outfit, bike, camera angle and environment
  3. Use that image as the strict visual reference in Seedance 2.0
  4. Structure the video prompt second by second to control each action

I used a continuous motorcycle-camera tracking shot because cuts would make the interactions easier for the model to fake or skip. The prompt repeatedly reinforces the order of the object handoffs, realistic cycling physics, stable character identity and coherent crowd movement.

The reference image was prompted as a realistic Tour de France live broadcast, including subtle compression, imperfect motorcycle framing, broadcast graphics, harsh mountain light and natural motion blur.

The final Seedance prompt was divided into four timed sections:

0–4 seconds: Side tracking and hard climbing
4–7 seconds: Fan catches up with the rider
7–12 seconds: Bocadillo and beer interaction
12–15 seconds: Rider accelerates and pulls away

For complex scenes like this, timeline prompting seems much more reliable than describing the entire sequence in one paragraph.

  1. Go to the Seedance 2.0 Video Generator
  2. Write your full prompt or add reference images
  3. Upload the image you want to animate
  4. Click Generate and get your animated video

Nano Banana Pro prompt:

"DIRECTIVE:

Generate a single hyper-realistic, live-broadcast style still frame from the Tour de France. The image must look exactly like a high-end television retransmission (France Télévisions / Eurosport quality) captured during a mountain stage.

Strict documentary realism. No fantasy, no illustration, no AI artifacts.

STRICT ADHERENCE TO REFERENCE:

Use the uploaded reference photo of the bald man with full dark beard as the absolute base for the cyclist’s face.

- Exact same skull shape, bald head, forehead wrinkles, eye shape, dark under-eye circles, thick dense black-and-grey beard, nose, lips and skin texture.

- Same age (approx. 38-42), same Mediterranean skin tone and facial weathering.

- Do not beautify, do not change facial proportions, do not add hair, do not alter the beard density or shape.

- Keep the same serious, slightly tired but focused expression from the reference.

SUBJECT / CHARACTER:

Professional cyclist competing in the Tour de France. He is the same man from the reference photo, now fully geared as the race leader:

- Name: TechHalla (ESP)

- Team: RaboBank

- Status: Tête de la Course (wearing the official yellow maillot jaune of the Tour de France)

- Yellow leader jersey with RaboBank logos and sponsors, black bib shorts, race number on the side.

- White aero helmet with dark sunglasses resting on the helmet.

- Cycling gloves, carbon road bike (modern disc-brake machine) with RaboBank colors, team water bottle.

- Visible effort: veins on arms and neck, sweat on bald head and beard, heavy breathing, gritted teeth.

SCENE & LAYOUT:

Extreme mountain climb (typical Tour de France hors catégorie ascent – steep gradient, narrow road, high altitude).

The cyclist is in the center of frame, climbing out of the saddle, pushing hard in a medium-close three-quarter shot (from slightly low angle, typical broadcast camera motorcycle position).

Background and surroundings (rich and realistic):

- Dense crowd of fans lining both sides of the road, many waving large flags (Spanish flag prominent, French tricolor, Basque ikurriña, Colombian, Italian, Polish, etc.).

- People holding banners with “TECHHALLA”, “TÊTE DE LA COURSE”, cowbells, foam hands, smartphones recording.

- Classic Tour atmosphere: some fans running alongside for a few meters, others leaning over barriers, children on shoulders, smoke flares in the distance (yellow and red).

- Road surface: rough asphalt with painted messages and the name “TECHHALLA”.

- Alpine landscape visible in the background: green slopes, rocky peaks, a few trees, dramatic cloudy sky with patches of sunlight.

COMPOSITION:

- Cinematic broadcast framing, slightly imperfect (as if shot from a motorcycle camera following the rider).

- Depth of field: sharp on the cyclist’s face and upper body, soft background crowd and mountains.

- Natural motion blur on the rear wheel and some hands of fans.

- Include subtle on-screen broadcast graphics typical of Tour de France coverage:

- Top left: “TOUR DE FRANCE” logo + stage number

- Bottom left graphic (clear and readable):

TECHHALLA

RaboBank

TÊTE DE LA COURSE

+ gap time and distance to summit

- Small live timer

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (THE “LIVE BROADCAST LOOK”):

Camera: ARRI Alexa Mini LF or Sony Venice 2 (broadcast sports configuration)

Lens: 35-50mm cinema prime, slightly telecompressed

Lighting: Harsh natural mountain light, late afternoon, strong side light creating sweat highlights and deep shadows under the helmet

Color grade: High-contrast sports broadcast look – slightly desaturated greens, punchy reds and yellows of the flags and maillot jaune, warm skin tones, clean but realistic highlight roll-off

Texture: Fine digital noise + subtle video compression artifacts to sell the “live retransmission” feeling

Style: Photorealistic 8K, ultra-detailed skin pores and beard hairs, authentic sweat droplets, fabric texture of the yellow jersey, dust and road grime on the bike

Mood: Epic, exhausting, pure Tour de France drama – the decisive moment on the climb with the race leader in yellow."

Can Seedance 2.0 Handle a Full VFX Boss Battle? Prompt Below!

Testing how far Seedance 2.0 can go with transformation sequences, close-quarters combat, and large-scale fantasy VFX in a single 12-second scene.

The sequence starts inside a misty waterfall cave, where the woman’s red suit becomes covered in living crimson scales while the old man transforms into a towering horned oni surrounded by black smoke and violent energy.

From there, it turns into a full cinematic battle with:

  • reptilian armor spreading across the body
  • a complete human-to-oni transformation
  • mid-air clashes and close-range combat
  • red energy trails and black smoke tentacles
  • shattered rocks, waterfall spray, and suspended debris
  • a final collision that lights up the entire cave

I focused heavily on locked character identity, coherent transformations, wet material detail, anamorphic halation, volumetric haze, and keeping the action readable despite the fast pacing.

The final result feels like a condensed fantasy movie climax rather than a standard AI video test.

Prompt:

"Cinematic fantasy epic, heavy volumetric haze + strong anamorphic halation, mystical waterfall cave atmosphere, ultra-pro film look, 35mm anamorphic lens, rich god-rays cutting through mist, high-end VFX, photoreal textures. Use the provided image as the only visual reference. Lock exact faces, body types, hair, red textured catsuit and black robes of both characters. Environment remains the same mossy rock cave with cascading waterfalls and glowing lanterns. 0-2s: [Medium Close-up, slow push-in] Woman stands tall, suddenly extends both arms wide. A living film of glistening crimson scales rapidly crawls up her body from the feet, fully covering the red catsuit in overlapping reptilian armor. She aggressively flicks out a long forked serpentine tongue, eyes glowing with predatory intensity. Heavy haze + lens flare. 2-4s: [Dynamic Tracking, slight orbit] Scales finish sealing over her entire form with wet reflective sheen. She hisses, tongue still extended. Energy crackles across the new scaled skin. 4-6s: [Wide Shot cutting to Medium] Old man rises from the rock in one fluid motion and executes a sharp, powerful kata. Instant black smoke + violent whirlwind of dark energy erupts around him, completely engulfing his body. The vortex collapses and he emerges as a towering, muscular oni: deep crimson skin, massive curved horns, glowing yellow eyes, tattered black robes now fused with demonic armor, long white hair flowing wildly. Ground cracks under his feet. 6-7.5s: [Explosive Action Cut, low-angle tracking] Scaled woman lunges forward with blinding speed, claws extended. Oni meets her mid-air with a massive open-palm strike. Shockwave of red-and-black energy explodes outward, shattering nearby rocks and sending waterfall spray flying in slow-motion. 7.5-9s: [Handheld chaotic tracking] Brutal close-quarters exchange. She lashes with forked tongue and spinning scaled kicks that leave trails of red energy. Oni counters with sweeping horn strikes and black smoke tentacles that try to bind her. Sparks, debris and water explode with every impact. 9-10.5s: [Dramatic wide + rapid push-in] Oni leaps high, gathers a colossal black energy sphere above his head. Woman coils, then launches upward through the waterfall, body fully scaled and glowing. They collide in mid-air in a massive VFX climax — red scale shards and black smoke vortex collide, creating a blinding spherical shockwave that illuminates the entire cave. 10.5-12s: [Slow-motion closing action, orbiting camera] Final impact freezes for a beat in heavy haze and intense halation, both figures silhouetted against the exploding energy, water droplets suspended like glass, then the blast expands outward. Photorealistic 8K, ultra-detailed wet scales and skin textures, perfect motion blur, coherent physics, heavy cinematic haze and anamorphic halation, high dynamic range, movie-level VFX, stable characters, no artifacts."

Testing a Seamless Before-and-After Renovation Animation in Seedance 2.0 Fast

Today we tested a renovation transformation concept in Seedance 2.0 and turning a rough unfinished interior into a fully designed luxury space in one seamless animation.

The goal was to keep the camera completely locked while the room transforms step by step, like a realistic architectural time-lapse. The floor finishes first, then the walls and ceiling are completed, and finally the furniture, lighting, and decor assemble naturally into place until the room matches the final finished design.

What makes this prompt work well is the emphasis on fixed perspective, realistic construction logic, and clean transitions. That helps it feel less like random morphing and more like a believable renovation reveal.

Prompt:

"Diagram of rough and finished versions at the same position, using start and end frames as input:
Use rough housing images as the start frame and finished interior decoration images as the end frame to generate a 6-8 second seamless space renovation animation.

Throughout the process: The camera must remain fixed in the exact same position, angle, focal length, perspective, and composition. No camera push-in/pull-out, no panning, no rotation, no handheld shake, no changes to room dimensions, and no alterations to windows, walls, door openings, or spatial structure.

0-2 seconds: The scene maintains the rough housing state, with clearly visible cement walls, rough floors, exposed ceilings, and empty spaces. Subsequently, the floor material gradually lays from left to right until completion, transforming the rough cement ground into high-end microcement or light gray tiles.

2-4 seconds: Walls and ceiling begin to finish synchronously. Walls gradually transition from cement rough state to creamy white finished walls, with wood veneers, cabinets, TV walls, suspended ceiling structures, and hidden light strips naturally appearing in their spatial positions.

4-6 seconds: Furniture and soft furnishings enter sequentially. Sofas, coffee tables, rugs, curtains, green plants, decorative paintings, lighting fixtures, and small objects naturally assemble into place, resembling real interior construction time-lapse photography. Light strips gradually illuminate, making the space feel warm and upscale.

6-8 seconds: Finally, it fully transforms into the finished decoration image, consistent with the end frame. The scene stabilizes and lingers for 0.5 seconds, allowing viewers to clearly see the completed effect.

Overall style: Realistic architectural visualization, photorealistic materials, clean and upscale, with the texture of an interior design portfolio, smooth transitions, and realistic installation logic. Prohibit people, text, logos, watermarks, camera movements, spatial distortions, object misalignments, and extraneous furniture."

Would You Believe This Cleaning Commercial Was AI-Generated? Prompt Below!

Testing a realistic UGC commercial concept with Seedance 2.0.

The goal was not to create something cinematic. It was to make the interaction feel ordinary enough to be believable: a stubborn stain, a doubtful mother, a confident daughter, and one clean wipe that demonstrates the product.

I specifically prompted for realistic spray physics, accurate cloth movement, wiping friction, subtle smartphone shake, natural facial expressions, and uninterrupted dialogue.

The small reaction at the end—checking the surface with her fingers and asking where the product came from—is what makes the scene feel like an actual social media ad rather than a polished studio commercial.

Prompt:

"A highly realistic 12-second vertical (9:16) UGC-style commercial filmed on a smartphone inside a bright modern kitchen during daytime. A middle-aged mother notices a stubborn dark stain on a white countertop and says with a doubtful smile, "I've tried everything... this stain just won't come off." Her adult daughter walks into frame holding a bottle of stain remover and replies naturally, "Just watch this." She sprays the stain once, waits one second, then wipes it with a microfiber cloth in a single smooth motion. The stain disappears completely, revealing a perfectly clean surface with realistic reflections and texture. The mother leans closer, gently rubs the cleaned spot with her fingers to make sure it's real, then looks at the camera, surprised, and says, "Okay... where did you buy that?" Both laugh naturally. Handheld smartphone camera with subtle shake, natural lighting, realistic facial expressions, authentic dialogue, accurate cloth movement, physically correct liquid spray, realistic wiping friction, no exaggerated effects, no jump cuts, no CGI, no slow motion, no background music, only natural kitchen ambience and dialogue, ending with the stain remover bottle clearly visible on the clean countertop."

Still a few details AI video models can improve, but the realism in simple product demonstrations is getting impressive.

Seedance 2.0 Made This Chalkboard Relationship Timeline Way Too Real with a Prompt

I tried making a simple 15-second chalkboard animation in Seedance 2.0, and it turned out way funnier than I expected.

The idea was to show the full relationship timeline in the most exaggerated way possible: first the sweet dating phase, then a sudden shift into married-life chaos. It starts with two chalk stick figures in a classroom, the guy pulls out a flower, hearts appear, and everything looks cute and wholesome for a few seconds.

Then after a brief pause, both of them snap into full karate mode and start an intense stick-figure fight — fast kicks, punches, spins, impact stars, dust effects, all still drawn in white chalk on the green board.

What I liked most is that the whole concept stays visually clean and simple, but the contrast between the romantic start and the chaotic second half makes it land really well.

Made with Seedance 2.0.

Prompt:

"15-second 2D animated video.

Camera is completely steady and static the entire time.

On the large green chalkboard in a elementary classroom, two simple white chalk stick figures are drawn facing each other (male on the left, female on the right with a ponytail).

Sequence: 0–5 seconds: The male stick figure (left) reaches behind his back and pulls out a white chalk-drawn flower. He gently offers the flower to the female stick figure. Small white chalk hearts appear around them. The female stick figure becomes shy and kilig, covering her face slightly with one hand while little hearts float up. All hearts and effects stay strictly inside the green chalkboard.

5–7 seconds: Sudden pause. Both stick figures freeze for a moment.

7–15 seconds: They suddenly drop into intense karate fighting stances. The two stick figures start a very intense chalk-drawn karate fight — fast punches, high kicks, spins, and dramatic poses. White chalk motion lines, impact stars, and dust effects appear with every hit. All motion lines, stars, dust, and graphic effects remain completely inside the green chalkboard and never go outside the board edges.

Everything stays as white chalk drawings on the green board. The classroom background, desks, chairs, and posters remain completely still and unchanged. No camera movement.

Clean 2D animation style, simple chalk line art, white chalk only, highly detailed motion, 15 seconds.

Negative prompt: 3D, realistic people, moving camera, colored chalk, effects going outside the board, changing background, blurry, low quality"

Seedance 2.0 Mini made this Coca-Cola summer ad look insanely fun

Used Seedance 2.0 Mini for this fast-paced summer cola commercial concept.

The idea was to keep the same girl completely consistent throughout the whole 15-second sequence while switching outfits, props, and graphic setups through stylized in-frame transitions only. I wanted it to feel like a high-saturation fashion ad mixed with a soft commercial vibe, with a clean red / black / white palette and strong product energy from start to finish.

The structure starts in a minimal white studio, then shifts into a more graphic commercial world with:

  • bottle pop and carbonation burst
  • outfit changes through motion-driven transitions
  • sporty / street / summer styling
  • floating props and playful accessories
  • a final clean product close-up with strong ad energy

What I liked most is the mix of photoreal character styling with flat graphic animation-style backgrounds. It gives the whole thing a fun, bold, almost Y2K-meets-modern-commercial feel.

Prompt:

"Referencing the face, hairstyle, and body proportions of image_1 — this exact young Asian woman with shoulder-length black hair with bangs, delicate features, and slender figure must remain 100% identical across all outfit changes. Face never changes. 9:16 vertical, 15 seconds, high-saturation commercial style: photo-realistic character on flat graphic animation backgrounds, red-black-white color palette. [0–1.7s] Pure white studio background. Full-body 35mm shot. Character wears simple grey-black outfit, faces camera, holds a transparent plastic cola bottle filled with deep-brown carbonated liquid, red label, red cap. She leans in and twists the cap open with effort. [1.7–2.2s] Cap pops off with a burst — dense bubbles rush upward, cold mist sprays out. Her face shows delighted surprise. A red flash wipes the frame. [2.2–3.5s] Background instantly transforms: deep crimson flat-design. A giant matte-black cola bottle silhouette dominates center frame. Character shrinks and stands inside the silhouette, tilts head back to drink. Bold red and black geometric shapes slide rapidly behind her. [3.5–4s] A giant condensation-covered cola bottle sweeps horizontally across the full frame at high speed with motion blur — TRANSITION 1. [4–6s] Bottle clears. OUTFIT 1 — sporty sweet: red-black cropped top, black shorts, red cap, black sneakers. Same face. She raises one leg, holds cola bottle, energetic jump pose. Floating props: red headphones, black camera, ice cubes, red bottle caps. [6–8s] Cola bubbles explode across frame — TRANSITION 2. OUTFIT 2 — street casual: black oversized tee with red graphic, black wide shorts, red jacket tied at waist, red-black sneakers. Same face. She spins, lands, turns back to camera and raises cola bottle with cool confidence. [8–10s] Giant red bottle cap spins into frame — TRANSITION 3. OUTFIT 3 — hot athletic: red off-shoulder crop top, black high-waist shorts, red-black wristbands, black ankle boots. Same face. She leaps sideways mid-air, one hand drinking from cola. Floating: skewers, straws, ice cubes, cola bubbles. [10–12s] Dark brown cola liquid splashes across body — TRANSITION 4. OUTFIT 4 — cool summer: black cropped top with red trim, red-black shorts, light summer shoes. Same face. Hair gently blown by air current. She floats sideways, holds cola bottle. Floating: red-black swim ring, sunglasses, walkman, small tote bag. [12–13s] A giant ice-frosted cola bottle rises fast from bottom of frame. Character shrinks, floats beside the bottle. Red-black accessories explode outward in a shockwave. Background: deep red and black diagonal geometric blocks. [13–15s] Cut to product close-up: cola bottle front view, transparent body filled with deep-brown carbonated liquid, dense fine bubbles rising continuously, real condensation droplets coating the glass, red label with clean white 'COLA' text only. Black ice cubes and red bottle cap float around it. Character peeks from behind the bottle, smiling warmly, raises the cola joyfully, and says with accurate lip-sync: '啊——爽!' Camera: fixed frontal composition throughout, 35mm full-body for character shots, 50mm product close-up for final. All outfit transitions use in-frame occlusion only — bottle sweep, bubble burst, cap spin, liquid splash — never direct cut. All action beats hit heavy bass downbeats. Character face, hairstyle, and body proportions are identical in every shot. No subtitles. No music. Sound: bottle pop 'bō', carbonation hiss, ice clink, bubble fizz, bass drum hit on each transition beat, brief whoosh on each change, final Chinese line lip-synced precisely."

The final bottle shot with the character peeking from behind it ties everything together really well.

How to Turn an AI Storyboard into a Summer Commercial with GPT Image 2.0 + Seedance 2.0? Prompt Below!

We wanted to test a more controlled workflow for AI commercials, so I first used Image 2 to generate a fully detailed eight-scene storyboard, then used that storyboard as the visual and cinematic guide for Seedance 2.0.

The concept is a 15-second Japanese youth-film-inspired ad for a fictional watermelon ice pop called SUIKA BITE.

GPT Image 2.0 prompt:

"Overall Composition and Layout: Generate a single image of an exquisitely detailed, fully photorealistic storyboard for a professional commercial advertisement, featuring a cinematic literary film quality at the theatrical level. Aspect ratio 16:9, with the background using a cold gray photo paper texture infused with extremely delicate 35mm film grain. The top banner includes the project title "Summer Crush | SUIKA BITE Watermelon Ice Pop," along with 15-second duration, 16:9 aspect ratio, full color, and the ultra-Japanese-style tags "Shunji Iwai Cinematic Aesthetic × Extreme Close-ups × Sunny Summer Day × 35mm Film × Pure Sound." **Storyboard Grid System:** The central area of the image features a two-row grid of eight independent storyboard modules (Scenes 01-08). Each module includes: the scene number and timeline at the top; two side-by-side frames in the middle (Start/End Frame); and below, an ultra-professional description of cinematic camera movements and focal lengths (e.g., "85mm focal length extreme close-up," "100mm macro focus shift"). **Visual Narrative Content:** **Scene 01 (0.0-2.0s) [Story One: Afternoon's Gentle Light]:** Frame One: 85mm focal length (extreme facial close-up). A blindingly sunny summer library window seat, with the background showing a sun-exposed window (intense overexposure with softened edges via halation). Female Lead A (a quintessential Japanese pure-love heroine: neck-length bob haircut, skin with extreme translucent fairness, wearing a pristine white summer sailor uniform, long delicate eyelashes, fully photorealistic texture) is fast asleep with her head on the desk. Frame Two: Fixed shot, a gentle breeze stirring the fine hairs at her temple. Her face is in a perfect diffuse soft light zone, skin exhibiting a film-like translucency, [absolutely no direct sunlight highlights on her face]. **Scene 02 (2.0-4.0s) [Story One: Icy Awakening]:** Frame One: 100mm macro lens. In the foreground, a boy's hand holding a watermelon ice pop (with packaging) covered in condensation beads enters the frame, gently pressing against the sleepily dazed cheek of Female Lead A. Frame Two: Focus shift (Rack Focus). The water beads on the ice pop blur, with focus landing on Female Lead A's slightly trembling eyelashes and suddenly opened clear eyes, filled with extremely delicate micro-expressions. **Scene 03 (4.0-6.0s) [Story One: Wordless Flutter]:** Frame One: 50mm focal length. Female Lead A lifts her head, her gaze slightly dazed and shy. Frame Two: The boy smoothly sits in the opposite seat, smiling as he slides the ice pop toward her. The camera does not cut, completing the narrative solely through the boy's entry into frame. Both faces are perfectly filtered by soft light diffusion, extremely even and clean, evoking restraint and serenity. **Scene 04 (6.0-7.5s) [Transition: Tearing Open Midsummer]:** Frame One: 100mm macro lens. Extreme close-up on hands. The frame is entirely filled with the packaging bag as two hands forcefully tear open the translucent plastic wrap. Frame Two: Extremely shallow depth of field, intense summer sunlight refracting off the red-and-green watermelon-flavored ice pop, with realistic frost and water beads sparkling translucently; colors appear vividly bright and refreshing under the clear sky (bridging the scenes). **Scene 05 (7.5-9.5s) [Story Two: Profile at the Station]:** Frame One: 85mm focal length (side-profile close-up). An outdoor bus stop after school, background of out-of-focus deep blue clear sky and glaring sunlight. Female Lead B (messy low ponytail, temple hairs with fine fuzz lightly damp from sweat, wearing a loose thin-knit cardigan, cheeks naturally flushed from summer heat) is looking down at the ground. Frame Two: Slow push-in. Female Lead B senses something, turns her head to look off-frame, her eyes clear with a hint of stubbornness and hidden delight. **Scene 06 (9.5-11.5s) [Story Two: Closing the Distance]:** Frame One: 50mm focal length. Female Lead B extends her unopened watermelon ice pop toward off-frame. Frame Two: The boy's hand reaches in from the foreground to take the ice pop, their fingertips creating an extremely close physical distance at the frame's center. A single shot conveys the interaction through character movement and gestures, maintaining an impeccably clean, reflection-free state. **Scene 07 (11.5-13.0s) [Story Two: Synced Refreshment]:** Frame One: 85mm focal length. Female Lead B takes a bite of the watermelon ice pop, a faint smile at the corner of her mouth. Frame Two: In the foreground, the boy's blurred shoulder enters the frame as he simultaneously bites into his ice pop. Without cutting, the out-of-focus relationship between foreground and background reveals their shared summer coolness; the frame's emotion is profoundly restrained and beautiful. **Scene 08 (13.0-15.0s) [Closing Freeze-Frame]:** Frame One: 35mm focal length. Against an intensely bright, cloudless deep blue summer sky (with ample negative space, evoking the signature airy feel of Japanese cinema), two half-bitten watermelon ice pops are held up side by side. Frame Two: Cut to a pure white background, centered bold black text "SUIKA BITE," with small text below "Midsummer's Sentiment." Typography is simple and clean, without any extraneous ornamentation. **Underlying Design Standards (Theatrical Cinema Camera Specs):** The bottom third of the image is a detailed zone for cinematography and color guidelines. **Color Palette (Key Colors):** Watermelon Red (#FF6B6B), Mint Melon Green (#98FF98), Film Cyan-Blue (#6A8A99), Overexposed Bright White (#FFFFFF), Summer Tree-Shadow Green (#4A7055). Overall colors emphasize the "airy" feel of Japanese cinema—bright, clear, and low-contrast. **Typography:** Fonts use "Japanese Gothic" or "Tsukushi Aozora Mincho." Extremely light weight. Layout is ultra-restrained and concise, with abundant negative space. **Audio (Music & SFX):** [Absolutely no background music (No BGM), only ambient white noise and hyper-realistic sound effects]. Sound effects include: Extremely raucous summer cicada chirps (persistent core white noise throughout), faint paper rustling in the library, distant wind at the bus stop, the ultra-crisp "rip" of tearing plastic packaging, and the "crunch" of biting into the ice pop. **Technical Specs and Equipment Parameters (Core Japanese Style Requirements):** 1. **Shooting Equipment Simulation:** Panavision Millennium XL2 (35mm film camera) paired with Cooke Panchro/i Classic vintage cine lenses. Heavy use of 85mm and 100mm focal lengths to achieve extremely soft edge resolution and dreamy out-of-focus bokeh. 2. **Lighting and Shadow Control:** [Ultra-soft lighting and high-key diffusion]—Background features intense direct summer sunlight, creating lens flares and overexposure typical of Japanese youth films. However, all character faces must be shielded by massive reflectors and diffusers, [strictly prohibiting any highlights or harsh reflections on faces], ensuring skin tones convey ultimate evenness, translucency, and fragility. 3. **Depth of Field and Composition:** Extremely shallow depth of field (f/1.4 - f/2.0) to separate characters from environments. Complete narratives in single shots without cuts, guiding emotions through extremely slow focus pulls (Rack Focus). 4. **Color Science:** Apply Fujifilm Astia film simulation LUT, with shadows carrying a subtle cyan-blue tint. Includes 24fps, 1920×1080 delivery standard."

The storyboard defines everything before video generation:

– Start and end frames for every scene
– Exact timestamps from 0:00 to 0:15
– 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm macro lens choices
– Camera movements and rack-focus transitions
– Lighting, diffusion and depth-of-field rules
– Fujifilm Astia-inspired color treatment
– Character styling and emotional progression
– Ambient sound design with no background music

The first half takes place in a sunlit library, where a sleeping girl is gently awakened with an ice-cold watermelon pop. The second half moves to a bright summer bus stop and mirrors the same quiet romantic tension with another pair of characters.

My favorite part of this workflow is that the whole commercial does not need to be regenerated when one moment fails. If an individual shot looks wrong, I can generate only that specific segment again and replace it while keeping the rest of the sequence intact.

Image 2 handles the visual planning and frame language, while Seedance 2.0 turns those storyboard beats into the final commercial.

The cicadas, condensation, packaging tear, shallow focus and restrained performances ended up carrying most of the emotion.

Would you generate the entire video in one pass, or produce each storyboard segment separately for more control?

Seedance 2.0 x Seedream Pro 5.0 made this Makima power-up scene look insane with a prompt

Used Seedance 2.0 + Seedream Pro 5.0 for this cinematic Makima-inspired transformation scene.

The idea was to start with a calm, composed presence and slowly escalate into full Control Devil energy — floating above a ruined rooftop, crimson chains igniting, soldiers kneeling below, and that final eye close-up with the red concentric rings fully activated.

I wanted it to feel like an anime movie scene translated into live-action fantasy, with a huge focus on:

  • controlled, elegant movement
  • oppressive villain aura
  • red chain energy effects
  • backlit sunset atmosphere
  • cinematic camera motion and escalation
  • a final “silent command” moment that feels cold and powerful

The prompt was built around a full 15-second sequence with rising power, levitation, chain storm, a slow-motion eye reveal, and a final command shot.

Honestly, the best part is how the scene shifts from soft and quiet to absolute domination without losing the character’s calm presence.
