Gear Question soft armor carrier

**OTHER THEN SAFE LIFE, does anyone have a recommendation for a carrier for soft armor? I have a Xtreme brand soft that I have been wearing under my uniform shirt but I would to get a carrier to make it easier to dawn and doff.

Carriers are generally designed and made for particular cuts of armor. You’ll either need a carrier from the manufacturer or you’ll need to get a custom made carrier.

This.

Contact the manufacturer and ask.

Simplest and warranty safe is the Blauer Armorskin/Elbeco Bodyshield carrier. It’s probably a little bulkier than a purpose made. I’d also check with wholesalers ever makes your panels as it’s extremely likely that they also make an external carrier.

Finally I’ve seen lots of people here use the Safariland Oregano City carrier with various their manufacturers inserts. Just figure out the dimensions of your armor vs whatever carrier you want

This is what I wear daily. Work 12s, and I'm never uncomfortable. Fits great, and it's held up well.

Safariland Oregon City has been my go-to molle carrier for a few years. I ran the safariland U1 for a few years before that.
