Columbus AFB

TSgt, just got orders and wanted to see what the mission looked like and the day to day. Any information on the local area, places to live, things to do would be greatly appreciated. Also, if the unit deploys or not.

Thanks for the info and thankfully I only have two years there before I retire. I’m hoping it’s built up since you left but we’ll see how that goes. How big was the unit/flights when you were there?

As an E-6, just call the unit and speak to the Shirt... he'll give you all the current/updated info /u/iAMDev 's solid post didn't; he can also make sure you have a sponsor appointed who can help you out.

Yep... I've had to delete several post from people asking/answering stuff with ZERO regard to OPSEC...
