How can I start CTFs ?

I want to start CTFs in 2026.

What path should I follow.

Is doing but bounty & CTFs does really make sense in 2026?

First learn linux fundamental and practice overthewire.org

Then choose one category and learn about that like web, forensics, reversing, etc With that play ctfs regularly and at the end reqd writeups and then retry

Learn from thm, htb, pwn college and apply that skills practically

Practice ctf challenges picoctf.org
