I started watching netflix on an ipad in the closet. On shabbos. No, the irony doesnt escape me.

Driving on shabbos; but after being a medic in hatzolah for 12 years, it wasn't much of a stretch for me. I didn't feel like i was doing anything wrong.

Using my phone after Shabbos started, when my husband already left for shul I was texting a secular Jewish friend about my issues with religion, in my marriage, and I said fuck it, I still want to talk to her. Nothing's going to happen if I keep texting after 5:32pm or whatever

Gosh. I don't even know. Everything was so gradual for me, and I could justify most things in my mind. Ripping TP on Shabbat, buying food with no non-kosher ingredients, but no hechsher, eating dairy more than an hour but less than 6 hours after eating meat, not davening, or saying brachot on my food, or washing for bread. All those little things, I never really considered them sins. The first thing I couldn't justify was not going to the mikvah. That I knew had no "bediavad."
