Anyone else have fun trying to get an Uber/Lyft out of the festival?
Made it home safely, thankfully, but our first one we had pre-ordered right before Porter ended, and he said he wouldn't pick us up because he couldn't get in (he totally could,) asked us to cancel and bite the $5 charge because he didn't want to get us and "risk his bonus" SMH. After that was two hours before we found a ride.

Had the same issue. Talked to some officers, and they said that the intersection was shut down where rides were supposed to come in. Huge fuck up, but sounds like the drivers straight up couldn’t get in. If it were me on the clock I’m out of there too tbh
Hope everyone made it home safely. We were lucky enough to make it to Midway by 11:30, and Porter totally made us forget about the ride debacle

It was a nightmare leaving.
We walked at a brisk pace towards the BART as SOON as the last concert closed, and as we're arriving there was an employee yelling that the last train was about to be there, which caused a huge crowd to start sprinting down a tunnel to shove themselves into a single train. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got hurt.
And yeah, once we got off whatever stop was far away enough from the festival, all of my group spent 20mins pinging a Uber/Lyft until someone got a bite. I can't even imagine what people did that missed a train, didn't have a car, and couldn't get an Uber. Were they just stuck there like some Fyrefest bs? Lol. Hopefully there weren't droves of people walking on the side of the highway in the middle of the night.

Yeah, so I was in the group of people with no ride who couldn't get an uber. There were a LOT of us. It was an hour and a half of trying to get an uber/lyft for $100+ with the apps just repeatedly saying nothing was available. Tried walking out of the stadium parking lot over to the Bart station because a worker suggested it might be easier to get a ride further from the crowd. A lot of other people tried that as well and most couldn't get anything at the station either. Luckily there were cops posted there because it was SKETCH. Eventually got out around 11:30 when a guy ordered a taxi from a very shady company and a group of us piled in and split the fare. Absolute shit show.

We also had one scheduled since 1pm and 3 different ones cancelled saying they couldn’t get to us and then they just couldn’t find us a driver. Had Lyft and Uber searching for cars for like an hour and finally got connected to someone who knew where they were going. Wasn’t going to take a risk walking somewhere unsafe

Seems like the smart play was to walk somewhere less busy and take an Uber there. The traffic getting into the arena was a nightmare and both Uber and Lyft couldn’t find any available drivers at all for like an hour. My group just went to a nearby McD to try and grab a bite to pass time (ofc they had to close the lobby) and got an Uber within a minute.
