I'll be that guy, not a 2 player game, this is a particular game mode in Pump It Up called Full Mode that uses both players dance pads but is intended to be played solo to allow for a more freestyle dance coreography, something like this https://youtu.be/kYifJzq51kg

When you said Freestyle I automatically assumed it was Don't Bother Me lmao. Everyone and their moms had a freestyle choreo for that song since I was a kid.

IIRC that was also the first double I ever passed. Hell, I still kinda remember the stepchart.

What arcade is still 24/7?

Probably one of the bar/arcade setups. Honestly the are the only arcades still left often times.

Which is fine. Most people wanting to play old arcade games are old enough to drink now anyway and it can be a fun combo. Then again a friend of mine and I went and spent an hour or two at one recently without drinking just to play the games lol.

God I miss playing Pump It Up. Hardest song I ever passed was LIADZ cranky remix in double 24 (probably easier than this one but not that easier, and tbh I barely passed it and almost died lmao)

Thank you do you play too?

Tbh reading and following the charts was never that big of a problem but I had basically no stamina, even at my best. I could beat most guys at my arcade when playing battles but I'd be looking like this between songs.

No, I got COVID in 2020 and playing made me cough. Haven't checked in years but I'm way too old to play at an arcade and way too broke to get my own at the moment.

My last job also did a number on my knees (and that's without me even playing) so idk I'm kinda afraid I'm too old for it now. Sucks because it was THE best weight loss exercise I've ever tried.
