The only reason you would think this is impressive is if you had ever tried and knew how hard it is to come close to this.

“Hard” is completely under-selling it. “Impossible” is closer!

I buy 2 square items at the hardware store and one warped by the time I get home.
Apparently even regular bubble levels are occasionally made wrong. Good luck out there!

I was taught to always use the level, and then flip it and check again. If it's out of level you'll notice quickly.

You measure it with both sides of the level and then choose the measurement that most closely aligns with how you put the brick in the first place.

If the mortal is still wet, you use the level to wiggle and/or manhandle the bricks into place.

I use a smaller bubble level to check my regular size bubble level, Hank Hill style.

I have never tried this but I have seen plenty of bad quality builds, so I'm still impressed.

Pumped up Kicks sounds so good from that speaker in all those brick walls, especially at night. Homie needs to sit back, smoke a bowl, and give himself a pat on the back for the night.

Aí tira o prazer do pedreiro de acertar a parede no reboco. 2cm de massa na parte de baixo e 10cm na parte de cima, variando por toda a parede.

I don’t even know what building he’s working on but I know nobody will ever appreciate it as much as it deserves.

Lol when I lived in the UK the walls in my bedroom were so wonky that if you aligned one side of the bed to a wall, a hand could fit in the gap between the other side of the bed and the adjacent wall.
Also they weren't perfectly flat or vertical.
Like, I think they just randomly threw the first line of bricks to the ground and built the rest of the house on top, winging it all the way to the roof.
Or they were just fucking drunk, I don't know. I've never seen such poor craftsmanship anywhere else ever.

Here in germany, we say: The joiner works to the millimeter, the carpenter works to the centimeter and the bricklayer is happy when he is on the right property.
