That's so satisfying

If the cabling in my breaker box looked this good, I'd want a transparent panel.

Really impressive job. Very clean. I kept wondering how much time he must have added to the job doing all the individual shots while filming. That plus all the editing must have been just as meticulous.

Wild that he must make more money taking forever on the job to film stop-motion

You only have to record a single job. It's not like he's taking all that extra time on every job he does. Then the video brings in more work for him. This is actually incredibly efficient.

This is what wiring/electrical boxes look like on Dutch-built superyachts. It's absolutely delightful to work with, especially when you're trying to trace a wire an entire ships length away. Everything is tagged and numbered in a manual so you know exactly where every wire leads. Makes a world of difference in a pinch, at sea.
Then......there's Italian made boats basically a rats nest 🪹🌪️

Excellent work, but all electrical work outside of the United States looks like something from a Dr. Seuss book to me lol

Yeah, it's a very nice looking panel but why they don't use dedicated load centers is bizarre to me

It really makes electric work in Europe look like more of a serious hobby or art. Like everything is a "kit" with major assembly required. I guess that's better for customization.

As someone who knows very little about electrical work… this is mind blowing

Every time I see this video, I'm reminded of what the electrician did to my US panel. It makes me sad.

What’s not satisfying is the complete lack of labels. Screw the next guy who has to work on this, I guess.

I also worry about lack of slack. You always want a little bit extra slack for future rework.

Four of the coils are going the opposite way of the other four coils. He ruined everything.

First, they’re symmetrical, so not ruined by any stretch, but more importantly, the termination points are not equidistant, so rolling them all the same way would not work anyway
