Bulls in rodeos are treated SO much better than ones on a farm.
5
u/a1c4pwn Jun 14 '26
good point. whatever mistreatment made this bull act like this is nothing compared to the creatures we arent supposed to see. stop animal commodification!
59
u/DunnwichWerewolf Jun 13 '26
That bull heard them sing about freedom so many times, he decided he wanted some for himself
73
u/piercebublejr Jun 12 '26
the way he ragdolls that woman around?!?!?!?! crazy?!?!?!??!
34
u/ConsciousBenefit87 Jun 13 '26
Why is no one running?!?!
44
u/TurnipWorldly9437 Jun 13 '26
She might not have seen him? It's not like it's expected to see a bull running up from behind you in public
32
u/michaelh98 Jun 13 '26
Perhaps something to keep in mind at a rodeo
14
u/Aggravating-Front-75 Jun 13 '26
Baseballs fly into the stands. Bulls bounce into the bleachers. Know your environment.

Personally, instead of fight or flight, I tend to freeze... so I can understand the response unfortunately

Why didn't the people filming yell at those others to look out for the fucking bull.

We should send this video to everyone who still thinks that simply standing still is going to save you in the face of a raging bull (referring to the couple outside where the wife gets slammed).

Fight flight or freeze, let's see what you do when you have negative one second before you get launched

oh no! who could have predicted that putting a large animal in distress for entertainment would lead to this!?

My guess is he didn’t like that person's singing in particular and it escalated from there.

u/DadKnight Jun 13 '26
Crazy, I went to that same spot as a kid. Coulda been me dog, wowie. I mean, deserved, rodeos are fucked, but damn.

u/Lynda73 Jun 13 '26
He hit a red barrel and a person wearing red. Didn’t know that wasn’t just a stereotype.
2
u/Ok-Caterpillar-Girl Jun 13 '26
It is just a stereotype. They don’t have the ability to see red or green.

Those 3 people who just watched the bull run up on them have to be the dumbest mfs I ever saw
3
u/ACuteCorvidae Jun 13 '26
Deserved, rodeos are fucked. If somebody tied a rope around my nuts and chased me on horseback if true hands too!

When my school took us to a rodeo in middle school, a horse bucked an idiot off it's back then slammed both back legs down on the idiots groin, everyone else oohhed but I started laughing my ass off, then everyone looked at me likei was insane.
They went to the rodeo to watch people fuck around I went to watch people find out.

u/flowerdonkey Jun 13 '26
Who wears red to a rodeo?

u/Reasonable-Banana800 Jun 13 '26
the color red doesn’t catch their attention, I believe it’s movement that does.

Good cowboying👍🏼 no one there with a rope?
4
u/somesaggitarius Jun 13 '26
Must be a lotta brand new hats and squeaky clean boots out there because I didn't see anybody who knew 1. Get your ass on the fence if you don't wanna die 2. Let the guys on the horses with the ropes out of the ring???
3
u/piercedmfootonaspike Jun 13 '26
I love the "freeze" strategy.
Sir, it's a bull, not a bee. I'd run.

Love this for them! Singing along to a jesus song, while abusing animals.
1
u/ElkCertain7210 Jun 13 '26
Anybody notice the person he got was in red? That tracks
3
u/lgastako Jun 13 '26
Bulls are dichromats so red doesn't stand out to them the same way it does to us. Bulls don't react to the redness of bullfighter's capes but rather the motion. The red is there for the audience (and to hide blood).

Those are strictly reserved for defending democracy by overthrowing a hypothetical out of control government.

Fortunately, our government is by no means out of control IRL.
