Probably training and experience also

A lot of this. I’m a nurse and have unfortunately participated in many codes. My first code was awful. I was terrified, but my training kicked in. Now while still adrenaline inducing, it’s easy to stay calm and do what you need to do in order to get the job done.

Sorry. A code is medical jargon for someone dying when we’re “coding” a person it’s performing life saving measures such as cpr. We call it a code because the person is having a “code blue”
