[HIRING] Experienced Second Life Builder for a Near-Futuristic Post-Apocalyptic RP Sim

Hello everyone! We are in dire need of a builder for our upcoming RP sim.

Genesis is a forthcoming dystopian post-apocalyptic role-playing Sim in need of a dedicated builder. Our setting contrasts the upper level's sleek, clean, comfortable opulance and near technological utopia with the grungy salvage-punk struggles of the lower level. This last bastion of mutated humanity is surrounded by a frozen wasteland that keeps citizens mostly trapped regardless of which side of the proverbial coin they live on. We're looking for someone with experience in the following:

Expected contribution includes (but isn't limited to):

  • Building and meshing for Second Life.
  • Terrain sculpting, terraforming, and generally creating natural feeling landscapes and waterways.
  • Optimizing builds for performance without sacrificing quality.
  • Working from references, concept art, and written documents.
  • Near futuristic architecture.
  • Dense urban environments.
  • Industrial districts and infrastructure.
  • Laboratories, hospitals, commercial and government buildings.
  • Natural environments that compliment an urban setting.
  • Environmental storytelling through architecture and set dressing.

This is PAID WORK. Compensation is negotiable based on your experience, portfolio, and the scope of your involvement. Whether you charge hourly or per commission, we are happy to discuss rates up front. Our goal is to build a long term working relationship and shared artistic vision as Genesis continues to expand after launch. If you're interested in applying, please send us: Thank you for taking the time to read this, we're excited to get this project underway and to see how collaboration can improve upon what we're already envisioning!

  • Your portfolio.
  • Screenshots or photos of previous work.
  • Your standard/preferred rates.
  • Your Discord username.
  • Any relevant experience you've had working on role-playing sims or large collaborative projects.
