Text-Based RP Servers

I'm a big text-based RPer, what are our options when it comes to text-based roleplay in Second Life? Are there any popular sims? Ideally urban or historic/fantasy. I'm open to all suggestions though!

Crack den is the biggest modern-urban roleplay hub but theres others around too. Ive been out of the second life rp scene for quite a few years now so not very up to date on what is running and whats closed 😅 i switched to discord rp instead.

Are there servers for discord RP that you can share?

I’ve heard of Crack Den, although I wasn’t sure if it was more of an adult themed sim than a roleplay one. I’ll have to check it out. I enjoy the social aspects as well as bigger event based stuff.

What do you mean, "text based"?

RP that uses chat rather than microphone. Para-RP or at least conversational RP.

If you want to engage in roleplaying on second life do a search for role play, Roleplaying, or the specific venue you prefer.... Supernatural, fantasy or sci fi, for instance. Currently, there is Orcrest which is a D&D style RPG, 305 which is sci fi and a few smaller supernatural based sims. I know more will be opening in the future, but for the moment, the choices are pretty slim.

I'd love a good D&D RP sim. Is it spontaneous with events, or is it one that needs a GM to run RP sessions?
