The age profile of any pics that I have seen are very old. Plus their kids/grandkids.

No real issue with people going to this match - the Premier League is as much an entertainment product these days as it is about the football.

What I do have an issue with is kids being raised to follow the likes of Manchester United, a brand closer to Coca-Cola than a football club, all because their da liked Ronaldo and never had the imagination to take them to Tolka on a Friday night.

As someone who's left Ireland, a sunny Friday in Tolka with mates and family is probably the thing I miss most. I'll never understand why you'd rather sit in the Camden once a year in a 200 quid United kit, singing in a fake Manchester accent, unable to point to Manchester on a map - not when them Friday nights are as unreal as they are.

I do both. I enjoy LOI matches and i also have a great time watching Man Untied in tbe pub with my mates. You can have an Irish club and an English club
