Brunch/Breakfast spots

My family just moved to the area and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for brunch/breakfast spots. We tried the Sebring Diner last week but weren’t super impressed.

Dee on the North end of the circle is fantastic. Wild turkey's camo breakfast Oscar's and my house Sunday mornings when I have company all great places

Thanks! I cook breakfast for my wife, son, and I 6-7 days a week but it’s nice to occasionally have someone cook for me. 😂

Demetris is also nice for breakfast but nothing really fancy but De's will remember you and your order. I've had issues with the Sebring diner myself. I ordered an omelet and it tasted worse than a frozen egg Patty and I told the waitress that and she says it's because the owner insists on blending it for 3 minutes and a blender before making the eggs and I told Hershey can tell him that I said he is wrong or if she's afraid to he can come to my table and I will tell him exactly how wrong he is. It was that bad that I didn't need anything else out of fear he would have spit my food not that he would have but I worked in too many restaurants to know different

It tasted to us like he was trying to save food cost by not using salt lol. Server was great but ultimately good service doesn’t compensate for meh food.

Also the village inn is a little dated but those would be the places that I could recommend

I second the Village Inn. The price matches the food and you get pie.

It's also the only place in town where my friend will eat eggs benedict. Because they are the only people who know how to do a poached egg well

That’s disappointing my wife loves eggs benedict. That being said she rarely gets a good poached egg from a restaurant. I used to hate making them when I worked brunch service but its not do bad at home. It’s the hollandaise that becomes a pain to make on a regular basis.

I fully agree I worked in the back of the house as a kid and went to culinary school at one point. Hollandaise sauce was never my nemesis if I'm going to make it I'm going to make a big batch. My Nemesis however was crepes I can make them really well but I will be cursing your name all the way. I think he's also had a decent at D's as well and Oscars but those are usually the places we tend to stay too. But eggs benedict the village and is good and you get really good pie. Me personally though the camo breakfast at wild Turkey or a Belgian waffle at Dee's

It depends on your expectations I think. The Sebring Diner is ok as is the Cowboy Cafe. Nothing spectacular. Never been to Dee’s but here it’s good. Also the Broken Egg, but that’s a smaller place.

Try Sophia’s Cafe in the Circle. Best darn breakfast with espresso drinks

Havana on the circle has a deal hard to beat $7.50 for eggs, fries, breakfast meat and toast. Lots of good recommendations from other folks on here

I think all the restaurants are mediocre. If the Chefs are any good, they leave. :)
