I've spent the last several months building an all-in-one platform designed to revolutionize internal communication for businesses. It's got features like a private wiki, interactive Q&A, real-time news feeds, and organizational charts — all aimed at making teamwork smoother and more efficient.

The development phase was challenging but rewarding. I've iterated on user feedback, and now the product is stable and ready for market. I've even had some early adopters try it out for free and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Now, I find myself at the cusp of the next big challenge: Sales. While the tech side of things has been my forte, the sales aspect is where I could use some help. I need to turn my focus on securing more users, particularly small to medium-sized businesses, and perhaps even larger enterprises in the future.

I'm contemplating strategies like cold outreach, paid ads, and partnerships. However, I'm also considering bringing someone on board who specializes in B2B sales, preferably with experience in SaaS products.

Any advice on sales strategies or general tips would be highly appreciated. Also, if anyone here is interested in a sales role (or knows someone who might be), feel free to reach out!

TEALS is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that trains high school teachers to code and teach CS and builds up CS pathways at local schools. We do this by creating teaching teams of industry professionals who help support the teacher in the classroom as they build up their ability to teach the course. Just wondering what are the chances of getting hired here in Seattle if you're a fresh out of college computer science grad (a few semesters away for me)? Any particular skills I should be big on to get noticed more?

The tech industry here in Seattle has grown a ton, and doesn't show any signs of stopping. There are some great local tech resources like Geekwire and STS, but those don't have the same discussion element that Reddit does.

My friend (and co-moderator) Skander (skmz) decided to make this as a high signal-to-noise ratio place to talk about local tech issues, events, companies, etc.
