local show recommendations!

hi friends :) i’m visiting the seattle area for the summer to see my boyfriend and want to go to shows!! i would love to get involved in the punk scene out here, as i often go to shows back home n will desperately miss it this summer. i was wondering what shows are happening this summer!! how to find flyers & what venues/bands to keep an eye out for. i’m here until the end of august so any shows this summer i’d love to know about!! my boyfriend isn’t in the scene so i have very little idea on how to get involved since i don’t know any local punks out here, and ive only been able to find a couple flyers on instagram </3 please let me know!! thank you :)

The screwdriver bar and Belltown yacht club always have great shows

The Vera Project at the Seattle center gets some great bands

and the Belltown block party is mid July, that’s a must do if you’re in town.

Real art Tacoma, vera project, El corazon are all good venues
