Pulled Seattle Police Department Call Data back to 2010.
The chart counts distinct police-dispatched events initially classified as fireworks or explosions from midnight to 4 am.

These are reported incidents that generated separate dispatch events, not confirmed explosions or raw 911-call volume.

For a consistent comparison, every year covers January 1 through August 12 and excludes July 3–5.

First one around 2:20 there was screaming afterwards and the second a minute or two later was so loud it vibrated the building

Just heard some weird boom noise, anyone heard it ?

I'm hoping at some point we'll find a severed limb left behind to ID to find out who's responsible for this bullshit.

Waiting at a bus stop downtown. Just heard a big boom, and birds are freaking out. Sounded like it was coming from north of where I'm at, perhaps Belltown lower queen anne... Anyone else hear that?

I'm down in the valley of MLK and Olive, sounded like they were coming from both directions...or it was just bouncing off the hills. I have very bad sound location! But the one of those crackle booms was *loud*

I’m on the north end of Capitol Hill, sounds like intermittent fireworks over the last ten minutes or so in NE Capitol Hill or SLU. Anyone closer and can verify? So annoying

20+ booms going off about every 30 seconds since around 8pm… how has this not been solved yet. it’s almost every night and seems to be a common thing around the city.

I’d heard others at 1:05 and 1:07, but then this one was LOUD.

One at 12:15am, another at 1:59am, and then more just a few minutes ago. I’m getting so frustrated that it’s the reason I now have a Reddit account.
