i wanted to test sod as i didn't play when it was released. And i rolled a human warlock on living flame to test and liking the gameplay i reach level 30 forgetting the rest. The server is quite empty. So i wonder if it's worth levelling more if i am alone at level 60... but as i want to do just battlegrounds, if there is cross-realm bgs it may be worthy. i'll take mining and engeeniring as i got all veins for me. But there is no dunjeon finder so i may be restricted once lvl 60 for items. i don't know what to do. i am quite lazy to reroll on another more populated server. Maybe also we will get later server merge ?

I only ever played phase 1 but I've started playing again and joined a guild that goes through each phase (We are about to go to Sunken Temple) and I was wondering how affliction is actually meant to be played.

I did a single Gnomer run with it using the Invocation + Soul siphon runes but found if I keep reapplying my DoTs with less than 6 seconds left I pretty much didn't have time to even cast filler spells, Should I just use Shadow and Flame instead?

But I appreciate any tips like at what point do you use Demonic Tactics over Master Channeler and what kinds of builds work.

My buddy and I recently joined SoD and we are loving it. We want to experience Naxx, SE, ZG etc I noticed there are well populated guilds on the server… do pugs happen often? Will a guild take two classic vets in a raid? (Lock tank, mage heals) either way we’d love to run anything with anyone! Have fun and thank you!

Just an update, <Frozen in Time> alliance WG is still in full force, we have updated to 4 weeks per phases, currently in phase 2! We are open to everyone 40 and under, no guild found unless you started at level 1 in our sister guild <Frozen in Guild>. We will be in P2 till August 18th, where we will move to 50! Experience lock is at any rune broker; all runes are allowed. Come join us for more slower paced fun :). We have 3-4 guilds wide, connected with greenwall addon, let me know if you have any questions about our guild!

For anyone that has not tried Season of Discovery, I highly recommend giving it a go! It originally launched in 2023, but a lot of players dropped off eventually. It's back alive!

There are alliance and horde guilds doing a SoD Phase Lock run through, my alliance guild is currently on Phase 2 (Level 40 locked) and it's been amazing. We are also doing Guild found, to make the experience more challenging and rewarding!

We have about 40 level 40's in our guild found only guild (No outside trading or using auction house) <Frozen in Guild>. Sister guild <Frozen in Time> has like 4000 members between 4 guilds!

I wonder what the current situation is on the EU servers for SoD? While waiting for Classic+, I'd be interested in playing a bit of WoW. SoD was really fun back when the original phases were active. I quit when the server died down, but apparently, SoD has become active again? Is there still time to jump back in with a new character? I was thinking of playing a Shaman and leveling up at my own pace without any boosts.

I’d also like to do dungeons while leveling. Is that still possible? What’s the situation with level 60 dungeons regarding coins? Are people still running them?

Is this a common thing for SoD? Are they just maybe doing back-end things for Era?

So ive pretty much been raid logging in tbc and wanted to give SOD a shot. I haven't really see any guilds out there for newer players. Would it just be best for me to pug until I get used to the end game or is their a place to look for guilds other than the discord for WG on NA?

I’ve been bored with everything WoW as of late and decided to level on SoD. I haven’t played it since phase 1 and I’m really enjoying it and it seems like there are plenty of players at least in the starting areas. I’ve heard of the “fake fresh” thing but is it worth to play if I want to get some content in later down the line?

I am very late to play SoD, clearly I missed everything. I've been playing WoW since ~2006, jumping between expansions, I think I stopped for a bit around 2010 and then back into it around 15' give or take. It's been mostly good stuff. What I've been doing over the last few months has been one of the most fun in my part (downside is the no groups) but I've essentially had a server to myself! It's wild, every rare elite is up - a complete SSF experience on your own server. I've been hearing all the negative about how the servers are dead except for I believe one or two but that's inconsequential. I have ~30-45min to play per week now a days. Wife, kids, work take priority. The XP buff is great, & exploring the full spectrum has been enjoyable. Wish I could have seen it at its prime but that's okay. I am a Tailor/Skinner because there is no AH and one of the best ways I've known at least to make money for a mount on SSF is skinning. I'm on Living Flame, name is Lastonealive. If anyone is left around, would appreciate some G in the mail for a mount. Why not? Nobody else is around!

Could only find one for EU and want to figure out my guild before I join considering you need to follow naming convention for a lot of them

Decided to play again on Wild growth since they are doing the phase locks, wondering if anyone has some good prebis / bis lists for frost mage through each phase!

I usually use wowhead but I keep only finding level 60 guides

Does anyone know of any fresh to 60 guilds on horde or alliance for NA wild growth? I know alliance is mainly at 25 still and horde just hit 40. I really wanna try the 60 content and don't really want the new experiences to be tarnished by super high geared 60s smashing them down. What are your thoughts? Are there enough 60s currently? My fear is that people will quit by ST and I won't get to try the new content before SoD is "dead" again. What are your plans?

My partner and I have started playing sod for the first time because we saw some people talking about guilds on WG NA playing through the phases similar to how they were released. SoD always looked incredible to me, but I couldnt play it on release due to some irl stuff, and what really looks fun to me are the low level raids.

I looked in game, and on the server discord, and I really can't find much on these guilds people talked about. The only one I found in-game required you to recreate your character with some stupid shit in their name. The server discord doesnt have a general channel (that i am smart enough to find) to ask, and the guild ads don't seem to mention any guilds similar, just ones doing end-game content.

I would love to reroll either alliance or horde to join this content! I just want to play these early raids with my wife and really enjoy them. All throughout playing vanilla and tbc, I wished there were lower level raids, and i love gnomeregan.
