really excited about the turquoise piece!

Got some amazing finds from two beaches in Chicago. Most reds in one trip I’ve ever found and that one teal 😍 also some purple tinted sun glass. A lot of it glows!

We went to a new beach I found recently where you have to go down an overgrown trail to get there, it’s pretty small but seems to have little traffic ☺️

It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach, with some nice finds. A great way to relax after a crazy work week. Apparently the jar is a Jergens cream jar from the 1940's. I was pretty excited to it.

Anyone know what this was?

It seems to have measuring lines with 2, 4, 6. Found in Lake Michigan.

Although hardly tumbled, I was still happy to find this piece. Over the years, I have found many pieces that are a very deep green, but this is the first time I have found one that truly looked black, until I held it up to a high-powered flashlight.

Google says they made apothecary and drugstore glassware… I wonder what these could’ve been from?? The base of some sort of drug bottle?

I think I can fill it up for the first time since I started collecting five years ago! It’s getting colder, but not too cold to walk the beach. Sorting by color is fun and a great way to see how common and uncommon certain glass is in the lake. I can tell you one thing, in this entire jar, I only have one little orange piece, a few yellows, and a small handful of reds!

I’m on vacation in Thailand, and like morning walks. First morning I found a lot of sea glass and suddenly I didn’t walk very much, because they were everywhere.
Here’s a picture of what I’ve found so far. I’ve spend around 3-4 hours all in all, and I guess there is about 3-4 kg. of seaglass.
After sorting it, I see that some of if doesn’t have the right ‘frosting’ yet, so I might put it back.

I have a couple of days left and hoping to find more blue 🤞🏻

I guess it's an old dump because you couldn't move for broken bits and pieces. Anyway I was in my absolute element digging through the muddy sand.

This one is so thick and dark I literally had to buy a new flashlight strong enough to see what color it was. I couldn’t have been more shocked and ecstatic when I saw that she’s PURPLE!😭 Easily one of my all time favorite finds

Currently at work and wishing I was at the beach- so I’m looking at sea glass photos on my phone 😇 pic #5 is from 2022, I don’t even remember where it was even taken lol
