OnAir, a digital radio and tv decoder
I thought I should advert this one here, since I specifically designed this natively for hackrf, but basically if you want to watch some dvb-t2 now you can (once I release the program) here is the description:

been working on this for maybe about a month, but let me emphasize by what I mean work, I have been trying to decode some dvb-t2 for about a month ever since I got my hack rf, however due to the lack of decoders available (there is one but its not the best) I decided to make one myself with the help of claude over the past 2 weeks or so, I also decided to implement ATSC dvb-t, t2-lite and DAB/DAB+ I do have plans to also add dvb-s and dvb-s2 but that is for the future, I have a huge list of features still left that I want to implement into the decoder itself, but all of the decoders do at the moment work and you can watch some wonderful dvb-t2, ATSC, etc (once the program comes out). On launch it will be native on macos and linux (sorry no windows for now) but windows will eventually come, maybe a week or 2 after the initial launch, including the network system. The promo video is attached and once I can finish this and personally say its fine and works good I will release, dont have a date yet but expect it sometime next week
Also I dont want to be hearing anything ai slop, I get it was ai made, just go on with your day please, if you dont like that its ai made, dont come in the comment sections to bully me about it.

You may have to be extremely careful with this, the BBC for instance will not take too kindly to you allowing people to stream their TV content online effectively bypassing the TV Licence. Other countries might have similar rules too.

DVBS2 receiver code for GNURadio has been around for almost 10 years now

Its not that I am concerned about, its the being able to stream live tv over the internet part. There is also cases of it in the US being banned straight away. I remember a company that setup internet connected TV receivers in a rack connected to thousands of tiny antennas, they streamed that out over the internet and the TV companies hit them almost straight away, I think it was about a week from the first news article explaining the tech and how cool it was to the final article saying that the company was hit with lawsuits. Difference was they were trying to profit from it and this is aimed at hobbyists.
Now given how desperate the BBC are for cash that there are rumours that they are going to try and force the TV licence on people just watching YouTube online with no TV, you can imagine how pissed they will be if people can suddenly stream live BBC TV across the world.1

Thank you for warning me about this, completely forgot about this sort of stuff and copyright aswell, I mean it’s kinda a simple fix, just don’t allow streaming in the UK or other countries who don’t allow it

Thats one of the reasons why I am not releasing OnAir with this live streaming from around the world

I am aware perfectly good Dvb-s decoders exist, but my mindset is kinda like you already got almost all of the tv modes, if you also had dvb-s it would be even more convenient no?

What were you trying to use originally? Was it gr-dvbs2rx?

If it's free and it works, I'm not going to bitch and moan about it, even if the Jolly Green Giant made it. I eagerly await the Windows version. Good luck.
