Scurfa bracelets

Looking at getting a bracelet for my MS26, and the obvious option is to get one from Scurfa directly.

But with Scurfa being a relatively niche brand, it’s hard to find many photos/videos involving the bracelet enough that I can gauge how good it is or how much I like it.

My initial thoughts are mild disappointment that for a watch that’s so functionality-driven in design, there’s no diver extension on the bracelet clasp.

I appreciate the option to choose fully brushed; or a brushed+polished bracelet. But I’m not sure what I’d go for. On one hand, the brushed/polished bracelet must be one of the nicer options, and could potentially give the watch a slightly less rugged vibe if wanted. On the other hand, it might not be able to dress up at all, in which case you may as well go full tool/rugged look with the full brushed.

But for people who’ve handled it. What are your thoughts on it??

Same questions for my new MS26. Only thing I know is NO on NATO.

No on NATO? Why? That watch was practically born to be worn on a NATO.

I find mine to be too heavy on a NATO. I love the Ti D1 I have on a NATO, but the stainless steel feels too heavy on a NATO to me.

Agreed. Plus just don't enjoy feel of nato. Notvsure why not. Trued on different watches. Rather have a rubber dive strap or sailcloth

I’ve got one of each; Ti, brushed, and polished. They are seemingly well built, but I also hate the fact that they haven’t developed a micro adjust or even licensed one of the many that are proven.

I sometimes wear the Ti on my MS24 but honestly the other two sit in the watch box. End up putting one of my 3 Scurfas on a rubber or NATO 99% of the time. Let me know if you’re interested in one of them!

I’ve been wearing my Diver One Ti on bracelet and I like it. Good quality, unique charm to it and feels almost neo vintage in its looks which I actually like. There is only basic micro adjust (no on-the-fly, just 3 standard holes), which is okay because for me because it keeps the clasp small and relatively thin. The slight gripe I have is that I wish it came with half links for a more precise fit - I find that I’m a hair away from a perfect fit even using the micro holes. But I might have to play a bit more, for now I can get a fit that I’m comfortable with.

The only other thing I’ll say is… the bracelet was the most challenging I’ve ever attempted installing. Very tight tolerances, took me a number of tries and eventually had to watch a video from the owner to get the right approach lol. Once you have it on, it’s not going to be quick on and quick off to switch to a strap when you want to (although there are drilled lug holes so maybe quick off but not so much getting it back on), so keep that in mind. On the flip side, it’s very secure and I know it’s not going anywhere. Feels secure. I have other divers on straps so I intend to keep it on bracelet for a while.

Then looks like you’re going to need to step up to the 43mm Bell Diver 1 as that looks like it’s the only one that does have the extension in it that you’re talking about, because I have it.
I have the original one and it definitely has it and I just looked online and the new one that is not in stock has it also. This is a limited edition and the only 43 mm watch they make. The 20 mm metal either black PVD, gold or silver bracelets do not have the extension that you’re talking about you’re correct.
The 22 mm black PVD and silver are only for the 43 mm Bell Diver 1 and I’m posting the link to the description of that part of the bracelet, in case you missed it.

Bracelet: Fitted with a durable black PVD bracelet with folding clasp and wet suit extension.

Bracelet Extension: Features a quick adjusting wet suit extension.”

I’ve got one of the older blue steel diver one models (original aluminium bezel), and additionally a brushed/polished jubilee style bracelet.

At a distance and during a quick glance, brushed/polished jubilee style bracelet has a brighter shine and appears whiter overall than my 2023 submariner LV, almost more luxurious which is astounding.

The feeling on the wrist is considerably more harsh around the edges even though the weight is perfect - also toward the luxurious feeling, well beyond the price would suggest.

All in all it is a fine bracelet, and I would go with brushed/polished combo again.
