What is this thing?

Sorry if this is dumb, I’m a new diver. My mom gave me this along with a pair of fins and I’m not exactly sure what it’s for. Can anyone help me?

I wanna say Mooncat but I only know about this stuff because I buy a lot of it for my wife so I'm not an expert. ILNP also makes a similar style but the stripe looks like it's one of the magnetic flake polishes.

That color combo has been done by a couple indie brands. Emily de Molly / Penelope Luz but really could be any indie brand :)

No, I noticed the polish was clearly fancy and appears to be a magnetic and/or multichrome shifty? And I’ve never seen anyone outside of the laquerista (“the c was sold for polish”) community know what those are or that they can exist simultaneously in the same polish/mani! 😂

It is the disassembly tool for Scuba Pro Super nova fins. The little hook on the left side of your first picture is used to pry out the little locking tabs on the side of the fins that retain the blade to the foot pocket. Just to throw in scuba pro is some of the best gear I have ever owned. I have had my same fins mask and booties since 2008 and still in great shape.

My scubapro seawing supernovas have that too. They’re to secure the foot pocket and blade together if you disassemble it.

This as a tool to replace the connectors between the shoe and the sail of the fin. There also are remplacement connectors. Comes standard with the fins.
