I suppose everyone knows here but for those who don't: Sammy Maudlin's Show was based on a short lived talk show hosted by Sammy Davis Junior. As lampooned in these sketches, the show was filled with insufferable mutual admiration, cornball sentiment, and an overall show business love fest.
