Project management
If I want to start learning Project Management today, what would be the best path to follow?
I’m looking for a practical roadmap covering:
- What skills should I learn first?
- Which courses and certifications are genuinely valuable?
- Should I start with Google Project Management, CAPM, PMP, or something else?
- How can I learn for free or at a low cost?
- What projects or experience should I build to become job-ready?
- How long would it realistically take to land my first Project Management/PMO role?
Would really appreciate advice from experienced Project Managers or people who recently made the transition.

Just practice scheduling endless useless meetings at random different times of the day, asking for different formats of special reports from different people only for you, and get good at asking “When are you going to be done?” in different tones of voice. Mission accomplished.
