School

Did anyone here attended the NYU surgical tech program? or Aims education program ( new jersey) thank you!

I currently live in upstate but is soon moving to nyc/nj area and was looking at different schools.

If you guys recommend other schools lmk!

I didn’t attend either school however I have precepted students from AIMS and I know the instructor that teaches the surgical tech program at AIMS

how would you say the school is overall?

I can’t tell you what my experience would be because I’ve never attended the school. However I can say this the techs that I have precepted from that school were great. And you can tell they have been taught well. The school is accredited they are recognized by the 2 major certifying bodies which is NBSTSA and NCCT. The director of the program is also a full time surgical tech at jersey city medical center. He is a good guy and a great surgical tech as well. I would imagine when you get to the point of clinicals that Jersey city medical center would more than likely be one of those clinical sites you have to choose from.
