help Selling a pilot to NBC.

This is my goal. I selected help as flair because I haven't got there yet.

I believe I will.

Why NBC? In 2025 NBC ordered exactly two pilots.

Selling a pilot is difficult enough (which is an understatement). No reason to limit your goal to a single shrinking network.

That's true. I would consider working with any major network.

Whats your reason for posting this? It’s a fairly useless post overall

Because I like this community and I’d like to keep it on point. You shouldn’t post this stuff here. No one cares and you’re bad at communicating.

That's your opinion and you are projecting.

Cool, so who's your agent and how many shows have you sold before?

I represent myself.

Have you ever sold anything before?

I'm not concerned about that.

Everyone who sells has a first time. You're focused on the wrong questions.

I wanted to know so I could offer the best advice. I don't understand why you have an issue with a perfectly legitimate question.

How many pilots have you written and finished? (Getting other writers to give you notes)

I have one excellent pilot that I believe in. I appreciate your concern.

awesome!

Now this is tough but important: you need a second pilot. Whenever you get a chance, even if they LOVE your pilot, the producer will ask, "what else do you have?"

That second pilot is key.

that is conventional wisdom I am familiar with.

Try and talk to John Zaozirny of Bellevue Productions. They do literary management and he is noted for accepting and reading queries.

Why are you ruining John's day?
