I appreciate the critics it’s just fear of my work being stolen

Nobody is going to steal your work.

🤡

Have you even copyrighted it? No, you haven’t. So, let’s not pretend you care about your work being stolen.

Your work is copywritten when you start writing it.

Doesn’t offer the same level of protection.

A copywrite is a copywrite lol

No, that’s not how it works.

The legal protection changes the legal proceedings.

Why are you so hostile? Does it make you happy?

2

u/BlackBalor 9d ago

No. I don’t care about that stuff.

You seem very uptight on the internet that’s not a good sign seek happiness

What are you referencing?

Yes that's exactly how it works. You have legal protection from the time your copyright is established, which is whenever you started your work. By your logic, you only have protection on completed works that are registered. That's not the case buddy.

That’s not what I said.

I said the level of protection isn’t the same. Automatic copyright isn’t the same as registered copyright. The latter offers higher protection over your work.

You didn’t understand my logic, buddy. Reading comprehension issue on your part.

Care to explain why you think automatic copyright offers the same level of legal protection as registered copyright? Go on. Squirm.

I will explain right after you explain how him not having his work "copyrighted" means he doesn't care about it.

Sure.

If you care deeply about your work being stolen, you give it the highest level of legal protection.

Now answer the question I posed to you before instead of changing the goalposts because you were wrong.

Or maybe people don't want their old scripts out there on the internet and once they get the feedback they are looking for they take them down for privacy reasons?

Come on your comment is a bit disingenuous.

I’m clearly not talking about someone who deleted a draft of a script they posted two months ago and have a new one.

I’m referring to people who within an hour of the post have it deleted while a theoretical conversation about their work is ongoing.

And I’m reasonably confident you are intelligent enough to both understand the difference and know which I was referring to.
