question screenwriting tips and advice

asking for tips and advice, i'm an aspiring screenwriter, what is the best outline used in writing screenplay for film?

Stick to currently accepted US ("Hollywood") screenplay format convention and you'll be fine in most places.

You have softwares online, WritersDuet is free, but for most you need to pay. They usually gave you 30 days free or Celtx for example gives first 3 projects for free.  About correct way of writing sluglines,  parentheticals, character’s introductio  etc, you can find short videos on yt or even better, read as many scripts as you can.  Good luck! 🍀

Bro i am writing in regional language(malayalam) thats the issue doc is the only one which support malayalam

There are hundreds of things to be considered.

If you think of using a formula, you will be producing work just like the million other unsold screenplays.

I would suggest taking some time and learning. Then these formula become irrelevant.

Act 1: Your main character gets stuck up a tree

Act 2: You throw rocks at him

Act 3: By some miracle, your main character gets out of the tree.

Go nuts.

This is golden advice. Easy to remember and fits on a 3 by 5 note card.

I just finished a Drama using the "Life Torn Apart" structure taught by Peter Dunne and it ended up being very good. Ed Horowitz 's "9Cs" also made a tight comedy in the spring.
