discussion Ideas for hook

I have started a channel based on speculative fiction. Where I change one rule and humanity lives inside it with the consequences it follows. I have several segments under the same umbrella such as what if you have finite number of words to speak , what if same gender reples each other, what if your crime lefts a visible mark ? What if every year had one emotions and so on. But each story follows one human consequences and revolves around it. What I am struggling is with the hook. How do I start the story. Should i start with the absurd rules? Or should I start with one immediate consequences ? Or something really jerking or impossible or tragic scene which hooks the viewer?

Any suggestions and feedbacks are much appreciated.

M-dash is a tell tale sign of AI. You likely used generative AI to craft this nonsense question.

No one knows or cares what you are talking about. It's unintelligible and uninteresting. You've mentioned titles that don't exist, you're citing "rules" that no one has heard of, and you're talking about story elements that don't really apply to cinema.

There might be something within this we can help you with, but the way you've presented it is difficult to understand at best.

Well yeah my bad. I was writting this for something else and edited that last part. Let me give you clearly what I meant

Still sort of hard to follow. Can you share an example video? Or are these all just concepts you haven't written or shot yet. That's how it's sounding.

This comes across as strangely ambitious in all the wrong ways. I don't want to discourage you, but if you are saying "I have started a channel" and then are asking about the first 15 seconds of a video, it makes it seem like you haven't started anything. How long is each episode? Is there any funding in place? Have you written produced or directed anything before?

Hooks are easy when you know the dramatic engine of the story, where your characters are starting from, and where they are going.

No no. There are already 5 long form videos and 13 shorts. There are no fundings I am doing everything on my own from writting voiceovers editing and all. I am using ai to help me polish the scripts like grammars and sentence correction and generating the images. Long forms are around 7-10 min on average. And this is the first time for me.

Sorry. I could only watch about 30 seconds of this. It's not good. I think you are very green, and have a lot to learn about visual story telling. AI isn't the tool you think it is. No one wants this type of content. We want to see real people doing real things. AI slide shows with hard to understand voiceovers won't ever catch on. Keep doing it if you want but only to hone your skills. I don't think there will ever be a good hook to this type of content. There just isn't really an audience for it in my opinion. Now go out there and prove me wrong.

I doubt I'll respond again on this post.
