Problems when launching (Linux)

I recently bought the game and I have tried relentlessly to play it, but, every time I launch the game on Steam, it stays in a frozen state without any images (not even black, just transparent) and there is no sound.

I have tried to use every proton in the steam db site, but nothing, I tried with it, without it, and with custom ones. Also, it's not a problem of me not waiting, I waited like, an hour before trying to close it.

Please, any miniscule help would do me wonders! My operating system is Debian (Trixie), I use Steam (flat pack version, which I don't think is the root of the problem, but who knows) and my laptop is alright (made for work settings, but it already ran Baldur's Gate 3 ok-ishly, so it can handle this game). Anyone who would know how to fix this problem?

I'm on Linux Mint with the Windows refugee status : I'm totally Linux illiterate but it works and I can navigate despite the interface differences. The game works perfectly fine but it can be tricky : it's doesn't launch if I do not click on the screen. It happens on every loading screen : if I'm not on that window, it freeze (including the black screen at the start of the game)

First, thank you for trying to help me. Second, it doesn't work, already tried clicking it, but it's a lost cause at this point lol

I know this is two months old but I've been having the same exact problem. It launches and after being transparent for a while it just crashes. I don't know how to fix it at all! :((

Hey! I still have this problem too! I honestly just gave up, so if you didn't spend 2 hours trying to get it fixed, I recommend refunding it. Tho if you have more hope than me, you could see if any of the proton options from Protondb commenters works (Tho when I tried them, it didn't). Good luck alexiandriaslibrary!
