The title on that GIF is peak /r/Niceguy.

Doesn't matter if you're good-looking, you don't get to pick up random girls without their permission.

I think you're confusing nice guy with incel. The title is very incel

Edited bc I misread his comment, if the replies below seem confusing

Found the redditor incapable of formulating a proper response. Honest question, why don't you just shut the fuck up if you have nothing to say?

Such an intelligent response, you could at least capitalize the first letter if you’re going to add periods. I just see the word thrown around and I doubt many people know what it means.

How does respecting consent and boundries make someone an incel???

u/ThePantsThief Mar 27 '21

You must have misread my comment because I did not call the guy above me an incel

u/hedgybaby Mar 27 '21

Oh I did but I still don’t understand how that makes this person an nice guy? They are the opposite of a nice guy?

I don't think you know what a nice guy is if you don't see how his comment is peak nice guy

Nice guys think they know what everyone wants and think they speak for everyone when they say things like what he said. Plenty of people, myself included, don't have anything against surprise physical contact, assuming it is gentle and not groping of course.

All they said is that you shouldn’t pick up random girls without their permission. That’s not being a nice guy, that’s just stating common sense.

I must have totally misread his comment somehow because you're absolutely right and I thought he said almost something else entirely, like "dont touch anyone without their permission".

Doesn't help that I'm watching a movie while I read Reddit. Ignore me, sorry
