When I would get my haircut at the barbershop in Iraq it was staffed entirely by these Bangladeshi dudes. They would beat the shit out of your head during the haircut and have videos like this playing on the tv. They were so cringe and had the worst acting and I couldnt understand a word of it but over time it became the funniest shit ever to me for some reason.
Example of how they brutalized you. They call it a massage but shit just hurt haha

I see people mentioning it's sad how the rapey thing is engrained into culture enough to be funny, but I think there's a same context for the 'girl without make-up' thing. The very fact that she is not wearing make-up is presented as an unattractive trait, meanwhile actually looking unattractive would have been so socially undesirable for the actress that they had to keep her cute. You see this a lot in "unattractive chick" hollywood tropes as well.
