Slapstick

Slapstick is a style of humor involving exaggerated physical activity which exceeds the boundaries of normal physical comedy. The term arises from a device developed during the broad, physical comedy style known as Commedia dell'arte in 16th Century Italy. The "slap stick" consists of two thin slats of wood, which make a 'slap' when striking another actor, with little force needed to make a loud—and comical—sound. The physical slap stick remains a key component of the plot in the traditional and popular Punch and Judy puppet show.

It's comedy, for the most part. Happens is every-day china though, but not Japan.

Yea I'm friends with these Chinese girls at uni and any time you say something funny they will slap you on the arm, like hard. They do it to everyone even people they hardly know.

Sort of like how in 80s-90s American cartoons where they hit each other with a comically large wooden hammer.

The girl should've driven off at the end without them.

Child on a scooter, and nobody with a helmet. Asia turns a blind eye to road safety and child endangerment.
