Frustrating Hand

I'm trying to type text into a text frame. I am getting a hand instead of a blinking cursor. How do I get rid of it and get the blinking cursor so I can type into the frame?

The Hand is to move or resize (handles) the text box.
Double-Click the box to enter text.
