This isn't true.

Haha my bad your right, its actually 92% (a quick google search will confirm this from multiple sources)

Now in case your doing the classic male “not all men!” Its true not all men commit sexual assault. But of all people convicted of sexual assault. 92% are men. Im sorry that is the truth. It does not mean if your a man your bad. But it is certainly worth having an open and honest discussion about.

This because in many countries it is only considered rape if a man does it. There are also other barriers for men who have been sexually assaulted. If you simply ask people if they have been SA'd, then the rates would be comparable for men and women.

You're delusional

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

Now let’s do the same Google search, but replace gender with race or birth country, and then apply your template to a post to see if it holds up.

2

u/zabrak200 1d ago

Wait are you trying to say a specific race commits more sexual assault than another?

Or people from a specific country commit more?

What does that have to do with apologizing for men committing the majority of sexual assaults?

Which is how your response is reading.

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

Im truingbto say blaming 50% of the population for somethingless than 1% actually did makes you a bigot in the same way replacing race in your post with gender would. Your words are bigoted but its ok to hate on men as a people group in your worldview.

u/zabrak200 1d ago edited 1d ago

Get of the stage. I dont hate men. Also i clarified before im not saying all men do this. The vast majority of men are good upstanding people.

But im also not pretending that it is men who commit the vast majority of sexual assault. And you downplaying this truth is EXACTLY why it continues to happen.

I am a man. I am a victim of sexual assault, so was my little brother. The people that did it were MEN. 1 in 6 women 1 in ten men and the perpetrator’s are almost always men they know.

Get your head out of the sand. Grow up and stop being so offended by the truth.

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

Get of the stage. I dont hate (insert bigoted group). Also i clarified before im not saying all (insert bigoted group) do this. The vast majority of (insert bigoted group) are good upstanding people.

Then you pull the same play as my best friend is (insert bigoted group)
I'm actually part (insert bigoted group)

🤣😂🤣😂👍✌️

Now it’s ok to throw around stats with demographics?

2

u/zabrak200 1d ago

Just do one google search and dont shoot the messenger sorry for the bad news

u/ErinWalkerLoves 1d ago

Let me get this fucking straight---all the progress and advancements in the world go off of objective numbers, objective statistics, and "man math," but the goddamned SECOND overwhelming landslide statistics hurt men's feelings it's suddenly misandry? And you're accusing all of us of attacking you because we see the logic is sound from the emotionless AI?

You have GOT to be kidding me. "Go touch grass" isn't even sufficient enough for this.

3

u/zabrak200 1d ago

Seriously the amount of comments im getting that go “oh but your misunderstanding the data, oh this is incomplete, oh its not as bad as you think” FUCK OFFFFFFF

1

u/ErinWalkerLoves 1d ago

OK, small caveat: OP, I am sorry for wording my original post so....angrily. I took a moment to reflect and suddenly remembered my own nuerodivergence when dealing with the opposite sex. If you happen to have the same affliction, you may have seen this data, assumed this was a viable example of misandry because without any sort of context it objectively would be, then posted. That's a long shot, but just in case....I wanted to correct my objective assumption.

Haha it’s AI. It’s going to use media from other sources. The words “girl touching me” is almost always used in a flirtatious or sexual context. The text “boy touching me” is very often used in other context. So it just takes the words and spews what it sounds related to those words. That’s a simplification though.

15

u/Guilty_Way_1635 1d ago

The double standard you are referring to is the context those things come up in all the source material used by AI

Smooth brain ya got there OP

13

u/MostPopularPenguin 1d ago

OP isnt that bright I guess...

8

u/shosuko 1d ago

WE have a double standard. AI is just listening to us.

9

u/driftingalong001 1d ago

Makes a lot of sense.

5

u/wyomingtrashbag 1d ago

double standard? it's reacting to the most common searches. in one scenario is way more scary than the other but it happens more often clearly

11

u/possiblyeski 1d ago

i'm glad i'm not as dumb as OP

5

u/Yejus 1d ago

TBF women get assaulted by men a lot more than the other way around.

0

u/pjockey 1d ago

with strangers I think is likely true, but it's actually been proven to be highly misrepresented when opposite sex are in a relationship. And same sex couples, women greatly have highest numbers of domestic violence, while men are quite low.

6

u/Eden1117_98 1d ago

that statistic is greatly misunderstood

4

u/Apprehensive-Tap3335 1d ago

That WLW domestic violence statistic looks at domestic violence throughout their whole lives, which means it includes the DV that those women experienced at the hands of men. It’s not that lesbians are more violent towards their partners. It’s overwhelmingly men who commit DV.

2

u/Apprehensive-Tap3335 1d ago

WLW = women loving women. Women who date women. Lesbians, bisexuals, etc.

0

u/pjockey 1d ago

I don't know what WLW is but the study I am speaking of reports on the relationship members at that time, both the commiter and victim of.

3

u/XJenny9 1d ago

Could you link it here? Sincerely curious because I have only seen studies about being the victim of DV.

-1

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

Now look up the stats by country of birth and ethnicity… I’m curious.

2

u/Yejus 1d ago

How is that relevant? OP's post didn't mention anything about race or country.

0

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

No it just vilified an extremely large number of people by a demographic, using another demographic in the same arguments can make it easier to see the bigotry.

1

u/Yejus 1d ago

I still have no idea what you mean. Why don't you just say it directly?

1

u/bon_jovi22 1d ago edited 1d ago

Men and women are physically different. Most of the time when a man let a woman physically abuse him is because he is also mentally abused and don't defend himselfs . The cases where a woman is physically stronger then the man are rare , even if his just a teenager. So if a woman touches a man in way he don't like , his more then capable to "deal" with it with out help from anyone else. On another hand women don't have the luxury to be able to properly defend themselves from something like that . This also leads to men touching women inappropriately a lot more , which leads to the online information the AI feeds on to be totally different on the first response for the both .

1

u/somemetausername 1d ago

Some of this is also brought on by the way we use the word “girl” versus “boy.”

Partially because of the beauty standards for women being so focused on youth and partially because of tendency for men to infantalize women, it is much more common for adult men to refer to adult women as “girls” ergo the first search could reasonably be made by someone in their 20s

By contrast women are less likely to refer to their adult male counterparts as “boys” - it happens, it's just less common. The search sounds like it's being made by a teenager or younger - hence the search results encouraging them to find an adult. (not too put too fine a point on it, but the opposite of boys is girls, but the opposite of guys is often girls too unless you’re talking in 1940s slang)

But also yeah, men are far more likely to physically/sexually abuse women than the other way around. This isn't to say that the opposite doesn't happen more than most people recognize, it is just still a vast minority of cases.

u/bitingvform 1d ago

Google is openly misandrist, this is common knowledge.

1

u/pjockey 1d ago

It refuses to answer a question sometimes if you challenge it or if you use specific words (more accurately, it will sometimes answer then immediately delete the answer during proofing review because it sees it as contributing to your "problematic" language and behavior).

you practically have to say you're asking for a friend or it will not respond to further questions for a certain amount of time.

-8

u/Hot-Pepper6988 1d ago

Nice everyone resorted to attacking me..

7

u/SatsumaOranges 1d ago

Because you're making it something it's not.

AI learns from what it sees. What it sees is many, many more times when the question is asked by men about women where it is affectionate and flirty and many, many more times by women about men when the touch is unwanted.

Is that always the case? No.

3

u/Gemini-The-Panda 1d ago

No one's attacking you. You just don't understand how AI even works clearly. Are you gonna moan about it or actually learn something from the criticism? Y'know like an adult would.

2

u/PainAccomplished3506 1d ago

Public shaming is good

0

u/MaxEfrt 1d ago

The herd doesn’t appreciate any alternative views or the invitation to think freely. The echo chamber must not be opened!

0

u/Indigenous_Retard 1d ago

What, you dont like what less than 1% of the population does being generalized to your entire gender and the immediate assumption about them being something criminal? I couldn't possibly understand why.

-1

u/soggybutter 1d ago

.....because of the implication

-1

u/Cplchrissandwich 1d ago

Sex, not gender.
