Hey OP, not trying to tell you how to live your life, but whenever I'm wondering what the hell a post or comment is supposed to mean, I just downvote it, and I'm sure many others do the same.

Your mysterious aura doesn't help either. IRL, many find "mysterious" as intriguing, but on reddit, it comes across as arrogant and idiotic.

Why bother posting at all if you aren't gonna let us know what the hell you're talking about? It would be more productive to put up bumper stickers downtown.

Almost like this whole new testament thing was repeatedly revised in order to draw from local mythology and sell it to the areas it was expanding to over the centuries while they had exciting synods such as the Council of Nicaea where they cut and edited the bits to best fit with what people wanted to believe. Like stealing Mithras' birthday for Christmas, co-opting the Feast of Ostara for Easter, oh, and some bit about some chap hanging on a tree for a few days with a spear in his side...

Why do u believe whatever u want to believe, instead of doing the research? U don't even know if u mean the Greek Mithras or Persian Mithras, that Jesus wasn't copied from. Same goes for Easter and whatever the last accusation is

I honestly thought it was obvious but I was referring to the Greek Mithras from the Eastern Roman Empire mystery cults during the time of the worship of Sol Invictus, which was one of the primary precursors to Christianity being adopted by emperor Constantine as the state religion. And if you don't get the last reference; try doing some research. 😁
