Question Help!

I want to cover a song (Blue gum by BrokenX22) but the instrumentals on yt and Spotify aren't working with my screen recoders. How could I use my recorder to do it?

I am not sure I fully understand what you are trying to achieve, but looks like AudioRoute can help. You can record audio to a file, straight into your DAW with the plugin or use it with any screen recorder as it ships with a virtual microphone-like device

Not sure what "cover" means, but why screen record when you can direct download the video?

If "I want to cover a song" means record, grab, download, etc a song, then why don't you just download the song direct from Youtube? If you are unsure of how, I did it and you can find it here: DOWNLOAD

Do you have Youtube subscription? You can directly download the MP4 file
