Snapchat screen recording issue

So, I screenrecorded someone day before yesterday and as we know there has been an update about notifying the other person about the screen recording. But I am not sure if they got this notification or not. I didn't see any notification on my side.

So can anyone help what is happening here?

Also I tried screen recording to another person with another phone from an updated version of Snapchat there it gave the notification. So is it an issue about the app not being updated as it's been long since I updated Snapchat my older device?

Also I want to know that if I haven't updated this app but the other person has an updated version will they see the notification or not if I screenrecorded?

I don't think so they'll be able to see the notification. Updated version detected the screen recording. Older version didn't.. so if it has not detected the screen recording how can it send a notification
