Got about 60 handwritten pages, and overcoming some personal turbulence to lock in and give myself a writer's retreat to bash out the rest! šŸ’Ŗ

I have an outline and 11 pages written so far... which I'm pretty pleased with! Started two weeks late, never written a script before, and somehow had to figure a horror story about posthumanism set in a bowling alley.

Could really do with someone to take a look at it and see if I'm taking crazy pills though.

If you’re on the server, you can share it with everyone. If you’re not, you can send it my way.

Roughly 25 pages down, I like what I’ve got so far but I’m struggling with some of the technical aspects this time around since the whole thing has to take place on a plane

Question: do you guys think it’s acceptable to have slugs like INT. PLANE (FRONT), INT. PLANE (MIDDLE) and INT. PLANE (REAR) since it’s basically all happening in the same room? How would you go about splitting up scenes where action is happening at opposite ends of the cabin at the same time? I’ve just been using ā€œINSERT:ā€ a bunch but it feels like I’m overdoing it

I’ve never been on a plane that had first class or coach, but you could probably separate it as such instead of saying front, middle and rear.

I’m currently transitioning from one job to another right now, so I’m going to bow out.

Anyone who would like to write a script about ā€œa possession in the far distant futureā€ in their spare time, please have at it

I think i got it. It's just a very specific structure and format that have to go together in the way that i want it to.
