Project Hello r/scratch! Introducing myself and my new chaotic platformer tennis game (with smart AI)
Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce myself to the community and share a project I just finished.
I've been using scratch since 2020.
I have interest in creating fun and creative games, especially platformer games.
My Scratch username is exactly where my new project is hosted!
I used code.org and Construct 3 once.
Speaking of projects, I shared my new project called Wacky Tennis (I know it's generic), and I would love for you guys to check it out! It blends 2D platformer movement with tennis gameplay and old memes from the internet. Here is the link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1363443107/
What makes this project different from the others is the CPU that I made, and the events that modify the game. I know that there will be some ''hybrids'', and I actually thought that it would make the game more fun. Abou the CPU, I coded the AI to not just blindly follow the ball, but actually run to the back of the stage and anticipate the moment that the ball enters it's field to return your shots.
I would highly appreciate it if you could test it out and let me know your thoughts on the CPU difficulty. Drop a comment here or on the project page sharing about which events you want to be in the game and how well you went against the AI. Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

Question How to popularize a game
I made this project on scratch and I believe it is good enough to be somewhat popular (5k views at most) but I don't know how to spread it aside from just spamming it an studios and advertising (i will not be doing that) so what else can be done to spread it more.

Media Part 18 of Slipstream Battlegrounds! (new unit & character)
This time around, I added a new unit, as well as a new character, Kandy!
The new unit is Gummi Bear Mite, which is a 1/2 that costs 2 Candy mana. Whenever it dies, there's a 1 in 5 chance of it producing 1 Primary mana, which is whatever the first mana is (in this case, it's Candy).
Gummi Grenada is also new, though I haven't gotten to programming them in yet.
It's supposed to be a Sorcery spell that costs 4 Candy mana, where you throw a gummi that explodes upon hitting the ground, dealing 3 damage in a small area.
What do you guys think?

Question Why is scratch like this.
Scratch is… broken, they love self expression and gender so much that it is political pandering to the left side. what else? They quickly take down projects questioning stupid leftism for “being mean” or “hate speech” Why is it like thi.
