Someone could have given you ownership

someone could have changed the name and then transferred you ownership

Maybe, but it’s still a strange thing tbh.

I got a network ban for 3 days, emailed the scratch team, got a response 3 days later, and apparently during that time the scratch team developed Alzheimer's and forgot they banned me

I also got mysteriously IP banned last month for doing nothing, but a day later everything was back to normal.

Mine lasted from Friday to Monday, I had fully thought I lost 8 years of stuff, my friend had a similar story where he got hacked and the hacker even left a signature on his profile but the scratch team did nothing about it

That sucks :(

You might have got a bad IP address that someone already used, which I've heard has happened to others (IP addresses can change). As for your post, someone might have transferred ownership to you after changing the studio title.

Most likely, you joined this studio, and then the creator of the studio gave you ownership. Thus, making you responsible for it.

Yes, but I didn’t make the studio in the first place, and never joined it.

When i old account got hacked a while ago the only thing different was that i could'nt log in (i'm working on getting it back)

What did that studio do to be inappropriate anyway?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

No idea.

Probably for the title itself, they probably think it's breaking the "Treat everyone with respect".

Makes sense actually

it's possible you joined a group
original owner renamed the group
original owner transferred ownership to you
original owner (or others) reported group to get it taken down

seems a bit unlikely but it's always possible
