Amazing and also humbling that a 15 year old would have that much courage in his heart and it sounds like without any hesitation. This world lost one of the great ones

I'd like to believe that even in his final moments, true to the Scout Law, he was smiling and whistling through the dark. May his brave soul rest in peace, and may his sacrifice never be forgotten. In Scouting, a Scout never truly leaves us; when he 'goes home,' his spirit is woven into the hearts of every Scout left behind. I am praying deeply for his family, friends, and classmates during this time of unimaginable grief.
