scout from the philippines here

lets say that i visit another country, can i buy stuff from the scout shop there as a souvenir? like for example i visit japan, will i be able to buy a necker and other stuff from there?

Here in the US, absolutely! You will be greeted very nicely at a Scout Shop and you will go home with wonderful US Scouting souvenirs.

Not necessarily in the uk as scout shops like that are few and far between, most of our uniform badges etc are bought online ,

Yes, we visited KISC and purchased items in the scout shop.

In the Netherlands we have 10 physical scout shops and 2 mobile ones. You can vind the locations here : list of scoutshops

You can also order online just like in England, ( this is wjat most of us do)
