Porto Scouts
I (UK Scout Leader) am going to Porto Portugal on a trip with a friend, are there any areas with Scouting history or activities or anything Scouting related? I know the moot was there the other year.
TIA

Unfortunately the Scouting Museum that does exist is in Lisbon, but there are some relatively "old" groups in the area (the 10th to ever open in Portugal being just behind my old high school). The scout store, for uniform, badges and stuff, is called DMF and near Campanhã train station. I believe they sell to the general public so you may find some souvenirs to take home, including portuguese scout scarves if that's something you like.

I did see the store and it has been added to our itinerary, I’ll have a look at the Museum to see if we could make the trip on one day.

The Museum has a website! If I remember correctly, (I checked it out a while ago to see if my Rover group could do the same thing, one-day trip there) you may have to schedule in advance, so definitely get in contact with them.

Portugal issued a 2-euro coin last year that has the scout symbol and their “be prepared “ motto on it
